This is gonna be so nice for the XRC. Seems like they are so stiff. My xmr not sure where it sits vs xrc. I assumed same but not actually sure! But dual rate gonna be best and make these sports better for sure. Keep giving us the feedback cause I'm sure I'll be getting some when they are out.
Thanks, yeah it was weird on that first ride. Had more grip at high speed, had more grip in a climb, was softer. It was wild for sure. Hopefully I can take the time to get some drone shots of suspension. I am very excited to see this platform getting tuned and attention. Whomever designed was brilliant. One chassis several possibilities.
@@yellowsuzuki06 right. Agree on the chassis. It's sitting on it own and deserves that attention. At first it seemed interesting. After using now I feel it's awesome. I'll stay tuned
Hey Brad, I recognized the first band as soon as I heard the vocals! Love their music. I am going to guess on your location as in the second video, maybe New River area? I cut my teeth on an XR350 between North Phoenix and up into the Bradshaws. Still own that 1984 XR350, but they say with age comes the cage, so purchased the Sport XRC this year. I like it, but still love dirt biking. Living in SE AZ for the last 20 years now. Anyway considering the Shock Therapy system for the Sport XRC, especially after our first roll over last weekend. It was in slow motion and more my mistake than anything, but I have to wonder if a different suspension would have saved us.Thanks for the video!
We decided to start out with the springs and see how it goes. I don't know if valves are necc. They were surprised by the change and it's new to me. The X3 has a lot more room for adjustment. You certainly get more return on what you put into it. When you go from an X3 to a Sport, the Sport is responsive more like the difference between a quad and a motorcycle. The Sport closer to the motorcycle and X3 like a quad. The dual rate setup is so dramatic you are gaining plushness, but you also gain traction because your tires are making more contact with the road/trail.
@@yellowsuzuki06 thank you for the input. We have both a 2019 X3 and a 2109 Mav Sport RC. I look forward to my new #shocktherapy spring kit in the days to come.
Ugh....I wish I could take a ride to feel the difference. They told be they were in development for the xrc sport, but they would only say they'll be ready before the end of the year. Do you know what they'll be charging for the spring kit?
@@DerangedOffRoad You would have to come to AZ and visit, I know you already have a place to stay. ;) I would let you test drive. Here some insider info: The sport caused a buzz at the shop. They told me they had another Sport with the three position shock in the shop the day before I picked up mine. I asked when to expect the kit to be on sale. The answer was about a month. Given what I paid and what the discount was to let them borrow mine, I would expect $750 for the kit. That is right in line with other kits. I have a tune, HMF muffler, much better tires, and now the spring kit, this is no longer the machine that came out of Ridenow. Oh and btw, I gained 1.5" in ride height. That first hill climb, shortly after the 2 min mark you can see where it kicks up and wheelies, but the landing was so soft I was able to stay on the gas. At 5:12 listen to the accelerator, that section is a jumbled pile of rocks I was over it at 30 mph yet the engine stays smooth. I have video from a while back on that same section at 20 or 15 and you can here it bucking until I put it in eco. At 8:48 takes a pretty big hit a speed and no biggie. This car is just a whole new machine, glad I emailed them!
I just ordered kit for my XRC. Can’t wait to experience the ride difference! Looks like the dual springs are absorbing the terrain quite well!

Very nice. I just ordered some springs for my X3. Did you just do the spring kit or also the valving?

@@yellowsuzuki06 I just went to their website, and the price listed for the XRC is $899.95!
Nice video & Reveiw! Thanks.
