We had to get extended fenders on ours, the mud was terrible and we ride in the desert. I also don’t like the line of sight for rock crawling. Too loud in the cab. I love the ride, it is so much smoother than our old Kawasaki Teryx 4 and not as hot. Even riding in Moab on 100+ degree days isn’t too bad. Stock ground clearance is great, rarely ever touch rocks.
I have the same sxs and the thing i hate the most about mine is how they attach the skid plates, especailly the one that has the oil drain hole. I did an oil change about a week or so ago and i got oil all over the plastic skip plate. There is a hole for the oil drain bolt but it still drips quite a bit of oil up there. Thanks for the great video @ Rocky Mountain Backcountry.
Love your videos. I bought the 2020 Maverick Sport XRC. I agree with the mud getting everywhere. Put a set of a Trail Armor fender extensions on. Wow, it’s made all the difference.
Good video I am coming up on 1000 miles on my xrc. I also use sc1 it does work really well. The extended can am fender flares was one of my best purchases for the rocks and mud flinging around. I need to get some more videos up in my xrc soon. Keep your video’s coming.
They help a lot. I got the Xmr version. Too bad they don't put the Xmr xrc xxc version together. Then they would have the actual unit most want so you ride everywhere and get your money's worth
I put XD Grenades on mine wrapped with 32" Carnivores. The traction is superb and the treads clean out so much better than the Liberty's. Also, adding RokBlokz will prevent most of anything from flinging inside your cab. Won't stop everything, but they help tremendously. Replacing that mud guard is cheap - less than $50 OEM.
I have the same machine with 2400 miles and I agree. These are awesome machines. It still looks brand new top and bottom. However, the stock Maxxim tires are terrible. I have Tusk on my machine now and absolutely love them. I added the mud flap extensions to assist with the mud. Unfortunately, I still get some inside. Just not as much. The one thing I totally don't like, is the fuel level accuracy. It totally sucks. I wished Can Am could fix that. Otherwise, the best machine in its class. My fuel light comes on and I can add just over 5 gallons to fill it up. It should show half, but it does not. Come on Cam Am. Get it fixed.
Thanks for the video I am doing my research before I get into the hobbie. I am trying to decide what UTV I wanna to purchase I am kinda torn between the Can Am and Polaris models. and if I should by a new one or used.
I know this is an old video. My question is could you make it on 72” Machine? I’m in Utah and a 72” is favored because of all the desert roads. But I also love hitting the mountains. Curious on your thoughts?
Hey brother, I'm sitting at 2,550 miles, i'm due for the valve adjustment and all fluids according to the book. Did you take yours in for valve adjustment? Thoughts on that whole thing? Keep your vids coming man, good stuff. I actually went through a set of 32" Sedona Rockabilly's while I was in Arizona. Buddy we pounded relentlessly in the rocks, mountains, everything you can think of. These machines are a Timex, they just keep on ticking.
Are you sure that isn't your ball joints? I replaced all mine with the Superatv ball joints. In fact replaced the whole front end with the Superatv high clearance front end.
If I had the money or thought today I could con or beg a banker to give me a loan I could afford I'd take the Maveric sport XXC and as for the mud if your face, can you not get aftermarket mud flaps?

Thanks for watching. Share some pics of your machine. I love the orange.

Right on bud can't wait to see the new back country vids.
One thing that I can already say is the suspension, I already have shock therapy coming for it. hopefully helps with the roughness.
Great video I have the can am trail. Love the roof rack.

I like that blue brother i have a xrc and its killing trails with easeeeee
One of the best machines ever.

Good Job! Question...sway or no sway bar? I see where you've had it off now back now.
I have the sway bar connected. I find that for how I ride it's good.
Get mud buster xtreme for the mud
I love mine 4 seater
Did you buy new black body panels or wrap the stock panels to change the color to black?
I took them off and painted them with automotive trim black paint.
We are buying a maverick sport cxc
You'll love it.
Where did you get that rack??
If those are the only 4 things you don't like after 2600m then I too bought the right machine!!
If you have a Maverick sport XRC then you did buy the right machine. Thanks for watching.
My rampage are the same awesome tires
Is the roof rack aftermarket or did you make it yourself...I need one for my Talon. Thanks
I built it myself. It was super easy. I should build another one and do vid on it. thanks for watching.
I had a Wildcat before my can am and hated that thing.
If I had the money or thought today I could con or beg a banker to give me a loan I could afford I'd take the Maveric sport XXC and as for the mud if your face, can you not get aftermarket mud flaps?
XXC is a strong machine for sure. As for the mud, I just don't like to clean it afterwords. Thanks for watching.
Where do you get that sc1 stuff from?
How did you chop the cage lower?
I have a video on chopping it. Cut out the 4 inch space in the back and welded 'er back up. Thanks for watching.
Where did you get that Husky cargo box?
Home depot
Can’t find anything like it at the ones here in Phoenix. Any idea on a model number or name?
Thanks. Great vids by the way
Did they bite sc1
No
I hate how loud it is in the cab too
Definitely loud. That's for sure
I installed some sound deadening material behind the seats and it helps a ton!
@@rockymountainbackcountry1588 I did the same and didnt notice much of a difference
@@rockymountainbackcountry1588 What material did you use?
@@jasenmoore9478 i used an auto sound deadening mat like Dynomat
