    I had some faux fur sitting in my stash for years waiting to make poms. I made one while watching this video - no shedding and it was easy peasy. I'm now making hats for my next craft show and they will fave fur poms! Thank you.

    • @fiberandfox

      I've honestly only used what was available at craft stores cause I'm very tactile and I wanted to touch it before purchasing, but I do have some online sources linked in this post: fiberandfox.com/blog/how-to-make-faux-fur-pom-poms-for-cheap

    As filler Why not use the fur that comes from edges instead to vacuuming? Also use blow dryer to fluff. 😃

    • @fiberandfox
      @fiberandfox  2 года назад +1

      Great tips, actually! Once my faux fur hits the floor it's inevitably mixed with cat hair and toddler crumbs but if you're able to salvage some as filler that's a great money saving tip. And a blow dryer works wonders!

  • @SmartArtzz

    keep your scissors sliding into and cut only the base and u wont cut the fur. like if u cutting skin only. works every time

  • @JenicaEckman
    @JenicaEckman 10 месяцев назад

    The best way to cut fur or faux fur is using a razor blade or an x-acto knife

    • @fiberandfox
      @fiberandfox  10 месяцев назад

      Ahh yes but that is also the very best way I've found to cut myself 👌
