Tommy to Changretta: speaking about respect and honor
Alfie to Changretta: YER A FOKKEN WOP MATE
what kind of insult is that? i’m from america what would be the equivalent here? i wanna know what alfie meant and what kind of insult that was to him but i don’t understand their language lol
@@ghhhp something to do with what italians are referred to
I remember Googling it months ago but don't remember what it means exactly, you can search the word and you'll know
@@ghhhp from my understanding a wop is a dirty/scummy Italian to them
At the time Jewish people didn’t liken Italians and wop is their derogatory term for an Italian
A couple of massive talents crushing a great scene together.
G.O.A.T 's..!!
@Thought Police I respectfully disagree.
Damn real. These guys are consummate great actors. Just great effin acting by two wonderful respected acting talents. So real is that.

Yea I also like when they cut out all the actual good story telling and just focus on the violence.

so much coldness! that little gasp of Tommy
Luca matched against Tommy
"We may burn while we're in the streets, but there's no reason for the streets to burn with us"
Now I see why Adrian Brody was the youngest academy winner of all time. His acting is Magnificent!
Which Academy do you mean? He was thirty that year he won for the Pianist. Tatum O'Neal was ten when she won for Paper Moon.
Male academy winner
Anna Paquin was 11
"But i want you to know why"🥶🥶 the way he said it with tears in his eyes
I've seen Peaky Blinders like 4 times now, and i still don't understand how tf they managed to sign up every fucking actor and actress at this level, the dialogues are just from other planet but the acting is something else, and every actor is fucking wild, from Thomas to Chagretta, Alfie, Jhon, Arthur...... All of them are incredibly amazing, i think is the TV series with most talented actors and actresses in the same place
Yeah I saw Alfie in that other series
Micheal was a let down but I think that was the writing of the character rather than the actor who played him
Changretta sent Thomas Shelby shivers down his spine...What a series! 💀🙂
The way he can go from being the pianist to Mr. Changretta is astounding. What an actor! One moment I'm convinced he's afraid and on the run, the next an absolutely ruthless gangster.
Bro lifted that curtain bit and still looked above it 😂😂😂😂
No children, no civilians, no police.
Man's game.
Out of all the enemies of Tommy. This is the one I feared most
I dont know… The facists were scary asf… But The changretta family was for sure my favorite
@@wardentul7796 Truee. I was so disappointed when they just killed him off like that. I was expecting a full blown war with the italians

This never worked like that. It's just an idealized version of it we like to believe was true, but this was always dirty, violent and sudden
@@josepmariasebastian8886 I agree in some point the wealthy would just as most did back then hire someone else to get their hands dirty and pat themselves on the back while people trying to rise in rank (Thomas shelby) would have just lost his life to a nobody. Great point

From a Pianist , to a mafioso
Changretta deserve own show . I liked that character. He was a fine gentleman.
Fight with Honor .
Changretta can easily fold Tommy… but Tommy has the immortality of a main character
Luca did fold Tommy. Tommy had Al Capone beat Luca, financially and while he was outside his hometown, which is how he removed the support of his men, and managed to kill him.
Luca pointing out that his suit was better was awesome. He was right & usually nobody had a better suit then Tommy…
I always thought it was a metaphor for how Tommy was rarely completely caught off guard.
Luca had Thomas’ gun unloaded without him noticing, and got alone in a room with him which isn’t easy to do without an issue.
It showed he was more prepared than him with that one move, and in that moment it was as if that entire talk happened only because Luca allowed it to by not killing him while he had the perfect chance.
In a world without gold we could have been heros
Only marlon brando should be allowed to speak like this
omg I thought the same thing
It doesn’t really work without the jowls
He's imitating Robert De Niro (young Vito) in Godfather II actually, and very poorly unfortunately.
@@Fz2760 his tooth pick facial contortions annoyed me quite a bit l, just didn't buy his character he over acted the shit out of it and I like Adrian Brody
@@JoshuaJames604 feel the same way
It's weird that Adrian pulls up a flap of the blind fold, but looks outside from the one above it 😂

Watched this episode just last night and it gave me complete chills
Changretta said "but I want you to know why" Tommy said "but I want to know why" when torturing chnagrettas father? When thinking of cutting his tongue off
Got a frog in my throat watching this
Brody was great in this role. Can see him playing a great monster in a movie one day.
One of the best scenes. I love Changretta but I love my Tommy more ❤️
Changretta was the only real challenge for Tommy. He made Tommy nervous and did the most damage to his family.
okay but WHY DIDNT HE LOOK THRU THE BLIND THAT HE ACTUALLY MOVED
🙈 Saw that..
To show his tattoo
Always felt Og tommy (before having Charles) would’ve jus said “no civilians” but since he had his son atp he had to say no children… Tom was savage and had no limits till Alfie told him off bout “The line”
No I think even before having children himself Tommy would have wanted the children to be spared. Just think about how he was with little Finn. Despite being a criminal, Tommy never wanted children and civilians be in trouble or let alone danger for what he did.
People shit on Luca but I think he was one of the best villains in the series he crushed his role
Just another day in the business

Love how Brody chewed the scenery with his portrayal of Changrett, seems like he had a lot of fun!
Is this the only time thomas actually getting scared? He just gulp for a moment right there. Man changgretta is definitely diff.
Ideally clipped video with such a great and nichee choice of music. Fantastic job! Thank you.

Anyone else notice how the slit he opened up when Looking out the window was actually mouth level
He was blocking his eyes on purpose but could still see through the blinds
So I guess looking DOWN doesn’t happen anymore
The acting in this show is superior
Boardwalk Empire still had the best crazy Italian gangster imo. Gyp Rosetti was nuts, and that scene where he's naked with a "who ah" when attacked is wild. Comes out the room bloody with nothing but a leash around his neck.
He speaks like vito corleone
At the end of this scene i caught myself standing and screaming. best scene of whole TV series for me. ❤
I think, Luca Changretta is the best villain of the show. I love this character. He is very charismatic.👍👌
I am sure they'll have a strong bond and will never betray each other
This series tells us...how respectful the peoples of that time....even addressing their enemy with respect.
“Without knowing why”
Adrian Brody makes a great mob boss lol
I will always have this scene as one of the best in the series.
What a beautiful scene ❤
He said "not knowing why"
He lifted the curtain from the bottom towards eye level instead of top away from eye level so he was literally looking at the same focal point as before lolol
Changretta’s best and only chance was right there lol.
Just Fucking awesome
The PROPER way to do a drive by.
Tommy is so scared and nervous here by Luca Changretta, the way he looks at him, scared, the way he gulp, Luca was putting him against the wall..
I hated Changretta. And watching him go down was one of my favorite episodes. 😁

THE BEST SCENE IN PEAKY BLINDER.
I have a feeling that was Adrian Brody's best Don Corleone impression... 😂
Very 🥶 cold
He wasn't afraid he was watching him carefully and thinking his moves carefully. That's how men like him operate.

Adrian Brody killed this role 🔥
he is man face to face fight agreement
10 seconds before this he mentioned his mother which i really like, even though his a villain.
Can't believe it! A scene with Changretta that doesn't piss me off!
elements of a great movie/show, a badass mc and more bad ass antagonist... shows viewers how mc overcomes such bad assery and turned out the baddest ass in the end.
Adrian brody is so fuckking talented .. my god does this man

Bro sounds like the guy from zootopia, the tiny mouse with big bear body guards
So I can’t be a gangster with my funny voice
Too bad they killed off Brody's character. He would be a joy to watch.
