I just feel like 85% of viewers have totally lost the point of his character arc, indeed one of The best written ever. Only thing I disagree is the point of no return, Tommy stopped being a human at some point in s4, after losing Grace and letting his family almost being detained and killed, after those events he was just a carcass.
