I love that peaky blinders has an Englishman playing a Jewish man, a Jewish man playing an Italian, and an Irishman playing an Englishman
You do realise jews can be any nationality, right?
@@orangewarm1 Nope actually. They are an evil race.
An Englishman playing an Englishman, an American playing an American and an Irishman playing an Englishman.
Fixed it for you.
@@orangewarm1can they be Palestinian ?
Yes it goes deep x @@matbrooks7678
After fkin years someone finally uploaded this scene fully and in good quality, thank you kindly sir
Online heroes.
I agree thank you
With no stupid ass music
"You are a focking wop mate"
Luca😮
WOP...without papers. Coming from the most nomadic people in history.
@@dashingeduardosuarez doesn't mean without paper look it up
@@PAINUK515 Indeed it does not, but that makes zero difference. It's the meaning that people attribute to it, and therefore use it as. Your dictionary definitions notwithstanding.
It’s hilarious how many times he says “ Thomas Shelby is a dear friend of mine” then when he says “ his brother is a animal and he will come after me” 😂 alfie is wild
"I am Luca Changretta"
Oh yeah I know who you are ,a bit of a failure right 😂
Bro I was looking for this comment
Easily two of the best characters in the entire series. Luca was an excellent villain, and Alfie... well Alfie's Alfie.
seriously, sometimes wishing for some more scenes with them, but at the same time maybe it's good to seize perfect characters in place... they become saints of cinema so to speak
I watch this scene with my eyes closed
I love that Alfie speaks Italian at the end to let them know HE HEARD EVERYTHING.... Great Writing in this Series.
It's actually Yiddish bro, they did not understand shit
Funny bc I noticed these subtitles said Italian but on Netflix it’s in Yiddish . Yiddish bc the Italians couldn’t understand it. If it was Italian, Luca would know they were onto his BS
idiot
It was actually Gaelige he actually said "fxxk the British "
Got to love how Alfie controls a conversation
Tom Hardy is a exceptional actor. One of the best.
There’s more to this scene than the dialogue would have you believe, the fact Alfie is more than comfortable standing in front of Luca with his eyes closed shows massive contempt for someone who’s used to having men cower in front of him. Such a brilliant power play.
I think he unnerved Luca by how bonkers he is.
Massive contempt, lack of respect, and no fear of violence
Favourite antogonist ever so smart fearless and funny
Great season
Iconic moment!!🔥🔥
That word is used too often nowadays. Watch the AFI 100 and the Sopranos.
wonderfulwonderful
I love humans, so unique. This whole interaction explains so much about us. Amazing writing.
I never expected to see Adrien Brody and Tom hardy in the same flick.
Also always makes me laugh how Tom understands everyone, even Luca with his poorly accented Sicilian dialect which was absolutely not common in Birmingham in the 1920s, maybe in Scotland but not in England.
hes literally from america.
😂😂😂😂😂
@@hiimleoroy6880 Ok? What's your point. Also that is not the correct use of literally.
Tom Hardy is so amazing
Luca Changratta was portrayed as the most sauve fuck in the whole series. The fuck carried some unqiue swag.
Simply, yoooooi, jack oconell in da hood lucky boro fc liveforever 🎉
Does anyone know what the breakdown of the actual cost? I am American and I don’t know some of these terms
cost of what? (UK)
Base rate of over 500, 100 for Tommy being from an oppressed people, 100 because Arthur will seek revenge, 100 for them being Italians (wop being a slur), and another 500 for Tommy being a good friend
what he said
@@shadowhunterg3dont forget the extra 100 for Luca being a cunt 😅
There is God and there is the peaky blinders plus the stone fukin roses and oasis happy Mondays and alfie solomon lucky boro fc liveforever 🎉
What langague is alfie is speaking when he says you plan to kill us all
It's Yiddish
@@rolands2262 wow, I have never heard a language like this
its yiddish but you can hear that the actor obviosly dosnt know yiddish he speaks it terrible and with the wrong grammer
"I'm Luca Changrenna" wtf
Ndoen their is bonnie street 😅😅😅
Does Alfie speak Italian at the end?
Yiddish lenguage
I know what I know and if you don't fucking know you don't fucking know do you?
I spend 6 hours every day with my eyes closed. Mainly in bed
Whats the “he knows who we represent” can someone clear that up for me
Luca was only a soilder not the don
He was a soldier for the Spinietta Family i believe
The Italian-American mafia. La Cosa Nostra.
My very good friend Thomas Shelby would know the difference.
Alfie Salomon’s 👌🏻💀
What's funny wop is the slang.for a Jew passing them selves of as Italian lol
Well he was talking about blind jews and yet he became a blind jew in the end.
Always with the fcking oppression.
Thomas Shelby like me comes from an oppressed people 1,000£
can someone help me out here please. every time i watch this seen i cannot tell if im supposed to take the "he knows who we represent?" as a shock that Alfie might actually know who they work for or if its supposed to be a sarcastic "what an idiot" because he doesn't know who he works for if you get what i mean
Its because Alfie shows them so little respect that Luca is asking the question. He'll be used to people doing exactly what he wants, without question, down to him being part of the Spinietta mafia family but obviously Alfie is not behaving like that which is confusing Luca
Mafia cut jour ting lucky boro fc liveforever by order of the peaky blinders Rkid 🎉
Terrible season. The mafia were a total joke, pure stereotype. Ask any man on the street to do an impersonation and this character is exactly what they would do, even down to the outfit and match chewing. Tom Hardy was brilliants as Alfie.
Plot twist: Changretta was a soy boy with anger management issues.
Why chews on toothpicks. they dont even have flavor. give the man a pizza flavored lolipop instead, should feel like home.
Brody gives an incredibly lazy, derivative performance here.
My god Adrian Brody is fucking awful as this character. I've analyzed this to death. I thought maybe it was because Brody was surrounded by superior talent and every other actor on screen was infinitely better. They are, however that doesn't also mean that Brody didn't use his blockbuster card as a child and rent every bad mob movie and base this character after an amalgamation of the worst mov characters ever. Ohhhhhh how edgy. Your character doesn't have a toothpick like other mob movies, your character has a match stick. Way to apply yourself to your craft.
I think you're confused.
True that! Luca Changretta was like a caricature!
Imagine how great his character would have been had he decided to be understated and soft mannered! That would be amazing! With the quality of writing on the show, we could have had an amazing villain like Lalo Salamanca (Better Call Saul)!
Instead we're left with this nonsense!
@@rolands2262 It was the 1920's, it's a cliche now but back then they were like that.
@@rolands2262 wait until you hear what al capone would have soounded like he sounds like a sterotypical mobster
Terrible acting
In a bad or a good way?
@@user-jl7rq3ij2n bad. How can terrible acting be good? Luca changretta is like a drunk trying to imitate Don Corleone
@@adam_p99not even Tom can pull off the "tough jew" act. Its so unbelievable 🤣 there has never been a tough jew in history 🤣
@@Ve453 there probably has, but Tom hardy being a bad actor is one of my personal “unpopular opinions”.
@@Ve453 he also comes across as a weirdo
The writing is so bad in this show.
