When he danced with grace, when the boys were joking around in the pub (dont remember the episode number) and even before grace died Tommy was holding her and smiling before she got shot. I mean in season 4-5 we don't see him smile at all but he has smiled

ending of that season was about assasination Moesley by peaky blinders but someone betrayed Tommy which caused Aberama gold and tommy's friend from war death.
There was no sign of Polly death but as i said she died after season 5 so in final one we were told that not 2 but 3 people died during that day and Polly was included there

I've always found it fascinating how the actors are the polar opposites to their characters. Like, Cillian Murphy is absolutely nothing like Tommy, he always smiles and for him to be able to play Tommy's character so incredibly well is astonishing.

The razor blades in the cap is actually kind of an urban legend. When the peaky blinders were around (1890’s, not 1920’s) disposable razor blades weren’t invented yet. The name “peaky blinders” actually comes from how they’d where their caps, the style at that time- tilted to one side, covering an eye. You were blinding your eye with the peak of your cap. Peaky blinders.
If you see West Midlands Police archive photos of the real Peaky Blinders they were a pathetic lot. Most as poor as church mice & involved in petty thieving. They hadn't seen a bar of soap or clean clothes in a long time.

I found this series a few weeks ago on Netflix and binged 5 season for days, all over now and waiting for season 6 patiently. I loved every bit of it.

I always find it amazing hearing actors talk and realising they’re just normal people. Then the actor who plays Luca starts talking and he still straight up sounds like a gangsta.
Adrian Brodys attempt at being a gangster was the most cringey embarrassing thing I've ever seen

Which won Oscars for his part as a Jew who the German soldier who found him let him carry on playing the piano as he loved the music Brody was playing. Been in Summer of Sam too about a killer in 70/80s America. The mafia role was way OTT.

The haircuts are pretty damn great. They give more structure to your face because of the very short sides and you have the long top to put some style into it.

I just watch Peakey Blinders, (7/2022) all episodes in the timeframe of one week on Netflix. Loved it. Didn’t want it to end. Loved Tom, Arthur & Polly. The show was captivating. Loved the haircuts. Thomas walk, the bomb. Thumbs up for Alfie too.

A couple of years ago I was scrolling down Netflix. Then suddenly I saw the image and the title of the Series. Never heard anyone I knew talk about this, but as soon as I saw it I thought "this has got to be interesting". I put it on and from the very first seconds I was hypnotized. Tommy Shelby on a white horse, walking through a pitchblack and grey neighbourhood. The story, the actors, the atmosphere...amazing.
I even told everybody I knew to stop doing what they were doing, drop everything and go sit in front of your screen, because it wouldn't get any better than this.
Such a legendary casting Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Adrien Brody, Sam Clafin, Sam niell and created a masterpiece of a series. Took a lot from this series personally. I was bit hesitant when I heard about this show initially but since the first minute of watching S1E1 I was completely hooked

I just love Peaky Blinders especially the relationship between Paul and Tom......... when the ‘Wandering Jew’ comes a calling! The whole series is just brilliant how Steven Knight has embroiled all his actors/actresses’s into such beautiful storylines. I’m an avid Fan and love everyone of them. The quick Witt in dialogue has made me laugh so much......Thank You All for that, and was much needed.. God bless you all
I love the series, I love all the actors, the haircuts, the rawness, plot, structure, sets, colour, women, the costumes, make-up.....the cinematography..... the editing.... scripts..... film direction... feel of that era.....
