I’m going to have to *respectfully* disagree, I’m not to much of a fan of Cillian’s cut, maybe it’s because I had a crush on him when I first saw him in a movie where his hair was a little longer. 🤷🏽♀️
Favourite part is when Arthur pulls his pants down in front of the princess and says “ _Here you go ladies, made in fookin Birmingham_ “ and you see John piss himself laughing next to him.
It’s always so strange to be so obsessed with fictional characters and then see the actors behaving as themselves, I get all conflicted on the inside 😂
Growing up in a working class family in Birmingham, in the 60's, my Grandfather told me many stories about the Peaky Blinders, but I never thought to see a tv series. And such a great one. Yes, its fictionalised and you could get too analytical about what they got wrong, but it's a wonderful show.
@@hackedaccount1523 I will give you a personal story. There is a huge square building in Birmingham called Fort Dunlop. It was originally used to manufacture Dunlop tyres. My grandfather worked there and so did a man called Bert Kirby, who was a real hard case with a wicked reputation and a member of the Peaky Blinders. The original Peaky blinders had been a youth gang before the Great War but they still existed in men who came back from France, although not as influential or powerful as portrayed in the series. In 1923 Bert and my grandfather had some sort of falling out and the animosity went on for some time, until Bert threatened to bring the Peaky blinders down on my Grandfather's family. My grandfather received a visit from the gang and was told he had to fight. He acceded but got an agreement that if he won a fair fight, it would all be over and done. They fought on the roof of the fort, supposedly for half an hour, until neither of them could stand and both were taken to hospital. My grandfather received the assurance that the feud was done. In 1980, some 57 years later, I was invited to a house party by a girl I worked with. She was a Kirby but the name didn't immediately ring any bells for me.. When the people at the party learned my name they told the story of "the only man who ever stopped our Bert". I told them I knew the story and it was my grandfather and they treated me like royalty and one of the family. There are other stories but this is the only one I know to be true and not just legends.
Its phenomenal how these guys are such clean cut gentlemen who transform into these hardcore gangsters. That takes serious talent, let alone the taking on a mixture of accents. This to me is one of the greatest series ever. Can't wait for season 6. Much respect to all the actors and actresses.
It's funny how girls from Top Model are always being judged for crying during their makeovers, and now, here we are, watching grown man doing the same 😆
Ever since I started watching this show during lockdown (its only been a few days I discovered it on netflix and am binge watching back to back eps) I walk around the house with a smug look on my face while repeating in my head: We're the peaky fookin ble'indurs, eh! 😄 Absolutely love the show. And who knew Polly had such comedic timing in real life. She's great!
I'm embarrassed to admit that I completely missed Peaky Blinders the first time around, but I am currently binging the five series (just started series 4). I am glad I saw this video to remind myself that these are extremely talented and believable actors, and not to hate some of them because of the people they play... but you cant help it when you are sucked in to the stories, which are so beautifully written. Incredible show very powerful, they have done more to make the Brummy accent cool than anyone could have thought possible lol
I did too i only found out cause im obsessed with a webtoon called purple hyacinth which has a similar vibe and same time period kind of thing about a strong assassin for criminal organization and a cop who can hear lies and everytime i looked up pictures on pinterest for it peaky blinders kept showing up for me i guess because of the looks and time period they are both in and i was like i should check this out i love stuff like this and i definitely did and did not regret it
It's so lovely to see some of the actors be so excited about their work and show that they are that excited as excited as the fans. They're not ashamed of being like emotional happy joyful about the fans and their work. All of it. It makes the fans I think feel less self-conscious about being fans. If you think the cast of the show think you're being ridiculous by being invested in their characters I think you're less likely to want to invest in their characters, in the end. Bravo to them all cast and crew.

So I'm not entirely sure if they claim the rights to those haircuts. I need to watch the interviews again if I find them 😊
