Great interview. Thank you for bringing up those 3 superb scenes. They are definitely among my top 5 fav scenes. Grace and Tommy love story was the only purest thing about him.
All of them! But for me I think it is most of the scenes Tommy is with Polly. The scene where all of the characters find that Polly had been killed was so emotional. Cillian's performance showed me lot's of Tommy Shelby but some of himself. He looked like he was actually mourning the death of our beloved Helen McCrory.
I love how he gives credit to everyone else (director, writer, etc) but not to his delivery! The acting is always so amazing. Imperceptible and you think this is a real man walking in history.
Thomas Shelby is a real person! How can an actor gives so much life and joy and love to millions of people in the World. It's so powerful!! Thank you Cillian
@@mahirhussain4890you made that up. Thomas Shelby and the entire Shelby clan are entirely fictional inspired by no real individuals. The peaky blinders gang did exist but it did not consist of the Shelby family.

"Good writing" this still doesnt establish within himself how hes so good to interprete that scene. He gives too much credit to others but doesnt credit himself. Truly, an incredible human being.
My favorite scene is actually a two-way tie, and both involve Alfie. First was when Alfie apologized to Arthur after Arthur found God. And the second is when Tommy had a gun pointed at Alfie telling him that he crossed a line. Then Alfie lets him have it about being a hypocrite. Those two scenes *chef’s kiss*.
So proud of his winning the Oscar! Those of us who have been watching him for years as Tommy know how good he is and now the world knows too. Me and my kids are anxious to see what he will be doing next! Let the leading role offers flow in! You deserved that award. You were as always amazing!
You missed the exchange between Tommy and Alfie, "you crossed the line, Alfie." from S3E6. Absolutely brilliant scene. Edit: Upon further thought, the scene was more about Alfie than Tommy, so I kinda understand why they didn't choose it...
Here in Brazil he has a legion of fans, I get emotional in every interview, he is simply brilliant. I smile watching (I used Google Translate, sorry for any mistakes). ❤

The beginning scene in s4e6 before the fight. Its a 3 minute scene with Alfie and he says a total of 7 words " aren’t you staying for the fight Alfie " the other 3 minutes is the best non verbal communication I've ever seen. He's mesmerizing the whole time not saying a damm thing. Brilliant!
Tommy and Barney sitting talking with bars between them. “Because one day, things might change”. 💔 Cosmo’s delivery and Cillian’s reaction.. absolutely heartbreaking. Amazing actors, amazing scene.
I always love to see Tommy and Alfie share the screen, just the two of them. When they meet for the first time, when tommy accuses alfie of using his son and of course when Alfie comes back in season 5, that scene has no music, no clever transitions, no show off quotes. Just two men having a conversation and yet its the most immersive scene in the series. I remember feeling like I'm actually in the room with them when I watched it. Love it!
Cillian Murphy is very charismatic. He looks and acts a great deal like my older brother. Unfortunately, my brother lost his sanity at a very young age and led a very tortured life until his death at 47. He is missed, and it's neat to see someone who has mannerisms close to his. I don't believe they could have found a better actor for the role of Thomas in Peaky Blinders. He was simply fantastic, good job, Cillian Murphy.
