Great interview. Thank you for bringing up those 3 superb scenes. They are definitely among my top 5 fav scenes. Grace and Tommy love story was the only purest thing about him.
All of them! But for me I think it is most of the scenes Tommy is with Polly. The scene where all of the characters find that Polly had been killed was so emotional. Cillian's performance showed me lot's of Tommy Shelby but some of himself. He looked like he was actually mourning the death of our beloved Helen McCrory.
Any scene with Annabelle Wallis .my fav scene is when Tommy and grace are at her place and tried to impress her by having tea

I love how he gives credit to everyone else (director, writer, etc) but not to his delivery! The acting is always so amazing. Imperceptible and you think this is a real man walking in history.

You missed the exchange between Tommy and Alfie, "you crossed the line, Alfie." from S3E6. Absolutely brilliant scene.
Edit: Upon further thought, the scene was more about Alfie than Tommy, so I kinda understand why they didn't choose it...

@@Apenasiza I am from *Bradford,* the world's first *UNESCO City of Film* which was used for 17 locations in *Peaky Blinders.*
At least 12 of those 17 locations are within 3 miles of my house, 7 of which are in *Bradford City Hall.*
*Tommy's Westminster Office* is the *Lord Mayor of Bradford's Office* (or the room opposite), and the room just a few metres away directly opposite was used as *Claire Dupont's* (played by Marisa Tomei) *Erwins Auctioneers Kingsgate Row London Office* in *Upgraded* (2024).
The small foyer in between the two offices is where Marisa Tomei's assistants *Renee* (played by Fola Evans-Akingbola) and *Suzette* (played by Rachel Matthews) sit.
And the basement of the building (which is near to where the *Peaky Blinders* prison cells are) was used as the office for *Ana* (played by Camilla Mendes).
Obviously you should be able to recognise other areas of *Bradford City Hall* in *Upgraded* (2024) from *Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022) as the whole building was used for the fictional *Erwins Auctioneers Kingsgate Row London,* although they mainly hung around the main entrance hall, a reception room, and the South-West entrance.
His patience in answering these dopey questions is generous and lovely.

My favorite scene is actually a two-way tie, and both involve Alfie. First was when Alfie apologized to Arthur after Arthur found God. And the second is when Tommy had a gun pointed at Alfie telling him that he crossed a line. Then Alfie lets him have it about being a hypocrite. Those two scenes *chef’s kiss*.
Any scene with him and Alfie was total magic!!!!!!!!!

I’ve watched every show possible but the love I have for pb because of Thomas Shelby is insane like I’m somehow attached to his character and that’s down to cillian phenomenal acting but what a character and no one comes close for me 🐐

“Mosly knew nothing! HE KNEW NOTHING!!!” That is actually the best scene in the whole show.

Peaky Blinders will go down in history as one of the all time favourite and best acted series ever, mostly due to Tom and Cillian!

Love him! I stumbled across Peaky Blinders. I’ve never even heard of it but I was like, oh I’ll try it. Since he just won Academy award and oh my gosh I was so hooked I was like why isn’t any of my circle friends talking about this it was so good! I loved it and Tommy was so sexy in it, a.k.a. Killian Murphy. So good😊
The beginning scene in s4e6 before the fight. Its a 3 minute scene with Alfie and he says a total of 7 words " aren’t you staying for the fight Alfie " the other 3 minutes is the best non verbal communication I've ever seen. He's mesmerizing the whole time not saying a damm thing. Brilliant!

Cillian Murphy is very charismatic. He looks and acts a great deal like my older brother. Unfortunately, my brother lost his sanity at a very young age and led a very tortured life until his death at 47. He is missed, and it's neat to see someone who has mannerisms close to his. I don't believe they could have found a better actor for the role of Thomas in Peaky Blinders. He was simply fantastic, good job, Cillian Murphy.

You search for them on Russian and French versions of Google and RUclips, mainly the Russian ones.

Oppenheimer was easy compared to his Acting as Tomas Shelby. He literally transforms into that character. I wish at time when Cillian has talk show interviews, he would go into Character as Tommy, just for laughs. But his Acting in PB is the best acting I ever seen. It's the reason Ive seen the series for the 5th time soon, and the Movie will be just as amazing...Can't Wait !!

There's so many favorites, but I do like when Tommy, John, and Arthur get out of the car to walk into the Russian house party.
I think the first two roles I saw Cillian in were not very pleasant roles, Cold Mountain (Charlie too is nasty in that) and Red Eye but yes I can relate to my face tattooed on someone it's surreal. BAFTA already fingers crossed for Oscar.
Blows me away how amazing the show is AND that the words “C-U-Next-Tuesday” and “Twa--” never appear once. That musta been a Netflix contract stipulation, eh?

I'm glad that Cillian is losing his fear to the media... Even if it is for an Oscar ❤️
He doesn't have a fear of the media.. he does dread it, but he's not afraid of it. It' bores him and he finds it tedious. He'd rather be at home with his family or at a pub with good friends. A lot of people misconstrue his expressions and mannerisms for that, or introversion, shyness and so on. He just doesn't give a crap about interviews; he cares about the work and not the long media circuit that's required of them. He's on a high right now because of Oppenheimer and the HUGE amount of Oscar buzz. I love analyzing people closely and he's not at all an introvert as so many others love to claim (I'm a major introvert myself), though I can see why they mistake him for one. He's just not super chatty for the sake of being chatty, and he really thinks before he speaks.
