What a fascinating pairing… especially if you take the Barbenheimer out of it. These two almost couldn’t be more opposite in their outward personalities, levels of expressiveness, even what they say they value (besides work), but yet their obviously true love of film and “cinema” (as Cillian kept saying :) ), as well as their thoughtfulness, curiosity, intellect, and admiration for good work, just bonded them.

I love cinema. 2023 was particularly rich in terms of films of various genres. Thanks to this, I have the impression that a lot of people have rediscovered the pleasure of going to see a film at the cinema, of spending several hours in a cinema with strangers but feeling the same emotions without always having the same opinions. Cinema is such a vast and interesting art, and each actor/actress is so unique in the way they interpret a character !
I love Cillian Murphy and most of the films he stars in. He's always very authentic and doesn't try to blow everyone away, just create. He has a range of characters that are all so different from each other (Peaky Blinders is nothing like Breakfast On Pluto, for example), yet he's always invested and talented in his roles.
Speaking of Margot Robbie, I knew her before Barbie (I discovered her in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood) but I think this film suits her so well. She's really talented and seems like such a kind and caring person !
I think it's a great idea to have them meet because you can tell they have a lot of respect for each other's work.

This is so much better than an interview. Just like watching two talented and respectful friends having a chat over a coffee. Great video. Love both of these amazing actors.

It's such a refreshing interview honestly. Cillian's mostly asking about how Margot took bold risks as a producer/actor for Barbie while Margot was just fangirling over Cillian's filmography. This was a good conversation

I'm amazed at how good Margot is at getting Cillian to come out of his stoic facade and just chat up a storm. They really got along very well.

I think it’s because he could relate to her in seeing how serious and passionate she is about her craft, and that made it more comfortable for him to open up because he’s the same way.

it's so fun to see them get more comfortable with each other throughout the interview and how interested they are in each others strategies and views, ahhh it's just so inspiring to see

The way Margot talks about producing and Greta really makes me think she’d be a great director one day. She has such a good grasp on the mechanics of movies and she just seems like she’d be able to make something really interesting that I’d 100% love

you can tell she has a passion for it!! i'm so fascinated by her work ethic and how hands-on she was for the whole process from the moment she was attached to the project. i'd like to see them team up again someday.

I absolutely love how Margot is so excited while talking to Cillian about his role in Peaky Blinders. She looks like any other fan when meeting one of their favourite characters.

Margot is very articulate, professional and intelligent. This was such a great interview, and you can tell Cillian was actually invested in the questions and enjoyed being there unlike many other interviews he’s been in
