- Our latest single from 'Tom + Will' is the final track on the album, 'O Lord make thy servant Elizabeth our Queen' by William Byrd. Written as a devotional tribute to Queen Elizabeth I (Byrd's patron and ally for much of his career), the piece has modern echoes after the passing of Elizabeth II. The motet intersperses homophonic (chordal) sections with beautifully shaped polyphonic phrases, and is rounded off with one of the most beautiful 'Amen' settings in the repertoire.

Gentlemen, this Christmas I wish you (of course, with all the obvious points that are given in these circumstances) that you remain an unsurpassed model of choral singing. I love you, a fan from Poland.
'The motet...is rounded off with one of the most beautiful "Amen" settings' -- Yes, I completely agree with the comment! It's a great joy to hear you sing it.
What a combination - the genius of the composer and the genius of the performers. I don't understand why this was never sung in the hundreds of services at Westminster Abbey etc that Queen Elizabeth II attended. Byrd is incredible but this was always a tear-jerker.
Now, I will go peacefully to bed and have sweet dreams of heavenly music.🎵🎶❤️ Thank you for your beautiful music 🥰🙏👏👏
Awesome, thank you so much
Amazing, guys!
Sheer bliss!
O Lord, make thy servant Elizabeth
Outstanding!
Lindíssimo!!!! Ela merece!!!!
To whom it may concern: it would be much appreciated if, in future, you could leave intact the audio of these wonderful videos - without applying fades in/out or other such effects - so that we the listeners can hear the whole piece as the Singers sung it. I'm fairly sure that the initial crescendo here was "added in post," as they say.
Beautiful! Joy for our ears!
LOVE IT 🏳️🌈🇺🇸
Sounds amazing ❤
Oooh, nice crunchy false relations. ❤️
