Appreciate the link to this. I just googled sq ft rate and it’s right where you’re saying. My thought process was walk my neighborhood and then some, find some homes and tell em “hey my name is Matt, I’m with (local paintin company) I’m in the area pressure washing homes, I see yours could use it. I can offer a fair rate due to being in the area. Price is X
I think that’s awesome utilizing technology and being able to bid a job from your computer. The only problem I can see is what if you get there and it’s much worse than expected? It would be hard to go up and still land that job. Ps I’m not criticizing just honestly trying to learn and am genuinely curious about that situation. I think this video is awesome and very informative so thank you. Keep em coming brotha
No doubt and I believe that's how you structure your description. For example we are only getting the organic. Not rust. Not efflo. Not oil. If they want that then upsell em.
Great video man! I just started my pressure washing business. I’m looking to get a commercial job where the building is a 8888 sq ft 2 story building and I’m looking to have my primary rate be 20cents/sq ft so that’d be around $1800. Since it’d be my first real customer should I undercharge to get the landlord as a return client? Or would you go all out and charge the $1800?
Maybe im wrong but your math seems off. The true square footage would be length by height right? For example i have 60ft long by 10 foot tall that one side would be 600 square foot right? Times that by 2 (for the other side) thats 1200sq ft. The other 2 sides are 20ft by 10ft to equal 200sq ft for a grand total of 1400 sq ft. 1400 x .20 = 280.00. The height plays a part right?
With these price per sq ft numbers, are they based on your desired profit return? If so, what return are you aiming for with these numbers? 50%, 60%, etc. Thanks again for the content. This was a good one.
Sup fam! Appreciate it, I wanna be as profitable as possible every time. Those numbers are going to vary if you have employees or not. Looking for 50-73 Profit is my biggest thing. so those numbers could be even bigger if you do it right. You wanna be profitable.
Hey man, im not sure if know about the roof pitch factor. But if you arent adding that in youre shorting yourself quite a bit on the square footage of these roofs. Shoot me a comment back if you dont know and wanna learm real quick. If you do know please help make sure the new guys know. Otherwise this is a great video dude. I love the mindset behind your pricing.
Hey bro do you have trouble getting people to pay that kind of money for a house wash? I’m running into that people think 3-400 is a lot for a house wash.
in my area the average company charges 10cents for concrete and siding, stucko is 15 cents........ heres a house i did for 870. i asked for 900 and we came down to 870....... 792 Preservation Circle, Pawleys Island, SC..... we did front and back patios and 2nd floor patio as well. 3900qft of concrete, 1700 of pavers in the back, 5000sqft house all brick./............... according to some base math this should be a 2k+ job
@@Tristan.Kalina I have, I'm in Myrtle beach and I have called multiple multiple pressure washing companies trying to compare prices and 4 big companies do driveways for like $75. And they have multiple fleets with trailers, charging $75 for 4 car driveways. Im calling the people directly so idk
@@Tristan.Kalina right and I like to think my quality is top tier, but how will get work when I'm charging above my local average? I still need to pay bills and I rather make $500 less and get a job constantly. So Its just so complicated.

Wash on!
How much should I charge per sqft if only cleaning dirt and sand on a home. We don’t have organic growth in my area. It’s a 🌵Desert.
Same prices!
Great video, do you have numbers $$$ for asphalt parking lots, post construction, 40-60 thousand sqft
Would definitely price per hour✊🏼
upcharge for heights?
How high are we talking?
Let get it!
YESSIR!
Zillow gives you the interior living spaces. Garages and other areas, not under air, aren’t included.
Garages I quote differently.
1 car 150
2 car 250
3 car 350
Then increase accordingly.

I just do it by totality of area,
Make it simple and look at Zillow really
When you measure the roof for a house wash do you multiply by 2 if it’s a 2 story house
Good question.
I’m usually at that same pricing regardless if it’s 2 story or not
Why not go up on the $ Sqft?

@youngpressurewasher man, on a 9/12 roof it's a 1.25 multiplier.
Hey bro do you have trouble getting people to pay that kind of money for a house wash? I’m running into that people think 3-400 is a lot for a house wash.
No. It's how you present the price.

I know someone in SC, that does these exact prices.
He just got done with a $4000 residential job in SC.
Provide value and ask.
