Do you think it’s possible to do a job like this with cold water only? Will the Gold Assassin work as good on a job like this with a cold water system?
@@Swivelsix It is possible with cold water only, that’s how I started. Since I only had cold water I had to depend more on chemicals. I would definitely recommend trying Gold Assassin. If you don’t want to pull the trigger on a 55 gallon kit just try out a 1 gallon or 5 gallon and see what you think. I’m sure you’ll love it though.

Great video! Probably a stupid question but if I don’t have a trailer (I have a 3.0 gpm Honda machine) can I still use a surface cleaner? How would the water get pressurized through it? Do you hook up the water hose or the pressure hose from the pressure washer to the surface cleaner? Again, kind of a dumb question but I genuinely don’t know. Great content!
Not a dumb question man, we all had to learn this stuff at some point. If you don’t have a buffer tank then you connect the water hose from the building to the washer then the pressure hose goes from the machine to your surface cleaner. 3gpm isn’t very much so you’ll need a smaller surface cleaner but it’s a place to start. Get some driveways under your belt, save up some money and then you can buy bigger equipment. I used a 4gpm machine for the first 6 months of cleaning and was doing driveways, houses, then got my first commercial contract and financed a trailer from Powerline industries. There are other builders out there you can buy from that can do custom trailers so you can be within your budget.
Hey love the video, I'm most curious about how you got in contact with the owner of the franchise? These kinds of contracts are where the money really seems to be. I run Power Wash the World out of Rockwall 💪 thanks
Hey brother! So typically the commercial clients are reaching out to us through Google. They find us on there and visit our website and then we set up a time to meet and talk about pricing options for them. We don’t run any Google ads, we just have a good amount of reviews and tons of pictures customers can see and that seems to work great for our ranking in my area.
Now that's something i didn't think off , changing the O-ring. i was like , wow hes going to show us this process , But No . lol . Maybe a basic maintenance off things .? Im looking at starting a presser-wash business , . thanks
Yeah man sorry I didn’t show it, it’s super simple. You just need a little pick tool to get the old one out and then slide in the new one. It fits inside a small groove. There’s o rings at almost every connection.
That’s crazy! If you did that where I’m at in Washington state, a storm water inspector would show up, pull the manager outside and order him to have a storm drain vactor truck come out, suck out that catch basin and key all the underground pipes to get the degreaser out of them, and clean out as many down stream catch basins as the wash water infiltrated. They would inspect every catch basin down the road until they stopped finding degreaser or wash water, and he would also force the restaurant to key every storm line that was contaminated. The bill might be upwards of $40,000 to fully decon that storm system. You guys don’t have to reclaim in Texas??
thanks for the vid man. your right though there are alot of gurus on here. its hard to figure out whats what.. in the lawn insudstry we usually say just find what you like and what works for you and run with it. not everything works for others.
100% man I totally agree with that. That’s what I had to do eventually. I don’t know if anyone else uses those xjet nozzles as much as I do but man it works for me. Great advice and thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Thank you for sharing your vids! The information you provide is fantastic. I'm starting to purchase some equipment little by little , because as you know it's pretty expensive. Can the chemicals that you use be purchased at the big box retailers or specialty shops? I'm asking because I'm in Corpus Christi TX and haven't found a place to buy other than ordering through San Antonio. Again thank you for all you tips and experiences you shared in how to complete the job efficiently and profitable.
Congrats on starting man, if you don’t have a place close to you then I’d recommend ordering online. Shipping can be kind of expensive so maybe save some cash and figure out what all you need to buy then take one trip to a store that you can find and bring it all back at once to help with fuel cost.
2:15 Hey there Dust to Glory - RE: the high & low pressure nozzles. The pressure & flow of pressure washers are determined by the nozzle orifice size (basically small specifically-sized hole inside the nozzle, smaller holes = more pessure but less flow. The opposite for larger orifices.
Glad to see you back bro. You’re one of the first channels I came across when I was first starting. How does the new rig compare to the old power line?
Thanks brother! Man I love the new trailer. The Powerline was a great starting rig but for bigger commercial stuff like we have been doing it’s so much more efficient. Even for small house washes it’s a ton faster. Thanks for watching man!
I am very interested in watching more videos especially on how to from start to finish. From Buda tx. Also just curious would ever consider doing a mentorship for a day or two. That is something I would really be interested in.
Never thought about doing that but that may be something I could offer next year! I think it would be cool to help some guys out that need hands on experience. I know I learn a lot better hands on rather than reading or watching something.
Hey man im finaly gonna try and take my go at this buisness i live in a well industrial area so i have good hopes on buisness there i wanted to do this years ago but had a good job then as a tire tech but due to unfortunate events i no longer can work those long hours or lift most of my equipment i was recently discharged from the hospital and plan to start this as soon as i recover
I’m currently out of product at the moment but there is another guy in north dallas if you type in gold assassin online you can find the distributors through their site. Once I’m down building our shop I’ll get another shipment in and be back to selling it.
I have a 10gpm and a 8gpm, usually I’m running the 8. The wider surface cleaners are good but they aren’t as nimble as the smaller ones. I found out that I’m actually quicker with the 19” than I am with a big 24-28”
Thanks for the video, I appreciate your openness. I have not been able to get an answer to the following question from anyone so I'm counting on you. Why isn't Calcium Hypochlorite used in Pressure Washing? What are the drawback to using it?
Honestly I have no clue, I just stick to what’s been working for years now. I’m always open to try different things but I never mess with something I don’t know about. I know some guys that have been badly hurt by mixing their own chemicals so I stay away from it
I wish I could answer that man. I get a lot of similar questions and the best answer I can give is I’m not a chemist, but the people that created chemicals like gold assassin are and they know what they are doing. Most important thing when it comes to chemicals is being safe so you can go home to your family. So find something that works and that is safe and stick with it 🤙🏼
@@DustToGloryPW the main reason I asked is that one time I was calling around to suppliers for SH and one told me he had CH. He assumed I was interested in the swimming pool business. He suggested that I could make "SH" from the same material (provided that it was for swimming pool applications). So.. CH is safe. It is also cheaper. The issue with it is that it leaves a chalky residue that is unsuitable for pressure washing.
Hello, how are you, good job, I'm starting to do pressure washing, I would like to know if it's possible, how much did you charge them for doing everything you did, how much was the work done, and what chemicals did you use. thank you.
Most restaurants around me are about $600 biweekly but it depends on how much you’re doing and what your overhead is. Also some store owners are cheap and don’t want to pay that much so it varies like crazy
Thank you man this was inspiring! So I subscribed and liked especially because you are truly helping people and not always for profit. We appreciate that especially us starting of. A question I do have is would that same degreaser work on regular drive ways or is there something different for it? I have a 3200 psi pressure washer and a not so professional surface cleaner 😅but wanting to see how I can improve using chemicals until I’m ready to upgrade my equipment. Thanks in advance
Thanks for the kind words man! Gold Assassin is mainly used for grease and oils. I’ve used it some on driveways but mainly for driveways I use SH. Engine oil spills are pretty tough to get out. Most of the time it just lightens them up but you’ll still see them. It works great for food grade oils and grease though!

That was a great video! I say do more of them!
clean set up
Thanks Mike!
Great video keep up the good work 👍
great job and thak's for the details it really looks great
Thank you very much!
Keep those videos coming, just added another subscriber to the channel, can’t wait to see more restaurant cleaning videos
I appreciate that brother! I’ll keep ‘em coming 🤙🏼
Awesome brotha!!! Keep videos coming in learning from everybody and hopefully can get business going next year
Thanks Victor! Good luck on starting up. It’s a tough process at time but you can do it if you hustle!
2:15 Hey there Dust to Glory - RE: the high & low pressure nozzles. The pressure & flow of pressure washers are determined by the nozzle orifice size (basically small specifically-sized hole inside the nozzle, smaller holes = more pessure but less flow. The opposite for larger orifices.
ok boss man great job 🤜🤛
I appreciate it!
Great video, keep grinding. This vidoes are super helpful for all new people like myself. Thanks man
Thanks, will do!!
Great video, greatly appreciate videos like this. Keep them coming brother.
Awesome to hear man! Appreciate it 🤙🏼
I am very interested in watching more videos especially on how to from start to finish. From Buda tx. Also just curious would ever consider doing a mentorship for a day or two. That is something I would really be interested in.
Never thought about doing that but that may be something I could offer next year! I think it would be cool to help some guys out that need hands on experience. I know I learn a lot better hands on rather than reading or watching something.
thank you for the good video
great info this is my second time watching😃 bossman so did you quote them by the sq ft if I may ask. thanks, in advance!
Quoted this one by the hr and what I thought it would take me to do. We are around $175-225 an hour.
Awesome brother! Get it.
Thanks brother! 🤙🏼
Very interesting video! Keep up the great work! I may be buying a new trailer soon. what kit is your trailer?
Check out southeast softwash or Texas pressure washing trailers!
More please 👍
Great work. New subscriber 🙏🏼
Thank you 🙌🏼
Thank you for the video! Great information. Do you have a recommendation for general liability insurance?
I use a local company that goes through Germania, it’s been great
Hey, I’m looking for something to lock our big surface cleaner like that. Where did you get that blue AWE lockdown?
Guy that built my trailer custom made it but he’s no longer in business unfortunately
Keep the videos coming!! Excellent content ‼️
Appreciate it brother🤙🏼
Great content and love the honesty 👍 keep bringing the good stuff back
Thank you 🤙🏼 appreciate you watching and giving some feedback
Great video! What strength of chemical do you use? 50/50 mix or do you use something stronger?
Thanks
Thanks man! Whenever I’m downstreaming or pump spraying I use a straight 100% strength
Can you show how you do a inside of the restaurant cleaning the kitchen floor and kitchen area
Hey Randy we only do exterior cleaning on restaurants, sorry I wish I could help you out
Hey man im finaly gonna try and take my go at this buisness i live in a well industrial area so i have good hopes on buisness there i wanted to do this years ago but had a good job then as a tire tech but due to unfortunate events i no longer can work those long hours or lift most of my equipment i was recently discharged from the hospital and plan to start this as soon as i recover
Hey I'm in Dallas and I've been looking for something to help on these commercial properties. How and where can I get some Gold Assassin?
I’m currently out of product at the moment but there is another guy in north dallas if you type in gold assassin online you can find the distributors through their site. Once I’m down building our shop I’ll get another shipment in and be back to selling it.
Love your video! Like to see start to finish on a chick Fila and how you manage to get one done in an hour
Once the weather clears up a bit I’ll make a full length video start to finish for y’all 🤙🏼
Great information, ty.
No problem! Glad you enjoyed
Great video, if you don’t mind what does that trailer setup cost and how did you go about landing contracts? Thanks!
What gpm are you running? Doing that job so much I'd get a wide surface cleaner.
Just figure out a price that makes sense for you and your overhead and make some profit with reoccurring work 🤙🏼
That’s my Dollar !!lol
Great job!
Thanks brother 🤝
