    I'm self employed. A Subway owner in Houston. I hate it anymore and I am selling. As a Subway owner and engineer I started repairing the Turbochef toasters. 10 years ago it was just a sidekick with 1-2 jobs a month. With my fast and reliable service the same customers keep using me and also give out my number to others. Now it's 5-6 or more a week. Just me, no employees, me my car and my small supply of parts. Love it. That and social security will take care of me forever. You have a great channel.

He's a Firefighter/EMT and going to school to be a paramedic so Hubby and younger brother took up the reins of the business to make money. Thank you in advance for all your help

    • @DirkDaJerk
      @DirkDaJerk 2 года назад +2

      When I did landscaping, the only chemical we used was a 50% diluted chlorine. In the event that we had oil stains, typically on driveways though, from motor oil, the best way we found to get rid of them was a torch. Just burn the substance off. Works pretty well. No chemicals to worry about and the job turns out great. I'm sure these guys use some kind of chemicals, but there are a number of bio friendly degreasers you can use, and there would be no need to reclaim the water. Typically the chemicals used during pressure washing jobs are selected because of minimal impact on the environment.

    Love the idea to wash some of my local restaurants...but what should I charge? I charge 0.22 a square ft on residential jobs. There's restaurants around town that are full buildings with wrap around sidewalks like in your video. There's also restaurants that are in plazas so there's only the store front/ back dumpster pad and small sidewalk in front. What would be a fair price for either job?

      Bro you could be charging much more for residential. I charge .40 for residential and .28 for commercial. If it is heavily stained or scattered debris I come up with a price between .50-.80 on the spot depending on severity.

    I wish every business with a drive thru would get this done. The drive thru to me is the most discussing put of a business. I say this because when you go through a drive thru you have to look at that wall alone the drive thru that people spit on. It be all alone the wall. It’s so discussing I want to get out the line and say forget.🤮
