been wanting to start a dump pad site business for a while and i Always seem to come back to this video and im always stumped...i GOTTA get a filtration system, but it looks so daunting!!
I know it looks a little daunting but ones you start it will become easier! Starting something new can be hard but you can always give us a call and we will help in any way we can!
Great video just subscribed! I have been doing some gas station recently, if you don’t mind my asking how many hours would it take ur guys to do a deep clean dumpster pad like that? And how much did you charge the customer? I know each area will vary. But I have trouble getting some gas stations to pay 150 for pad about that size , but not as much grease.
Finding the right customers is important. Some just won't pay a fair price. Move on if they don't. A job this nasty will take about 2 to 3 hours. Charge what is fair for you.
The longer it dwells the more it will break down the oil and grease. You could even pretreat and let sit over night. On average, most are allowing it to dwell 5 to 30 minutes depending on thick the soils are on the surface.
@@Powerwash yea sounds right to me I just don’t want unnecessary watery scum making the job last twice as long and double the work that’s why the shovel executes the scum and then degreaser and high pressure finishes the job be blessed and hope you grow grow grow
Here is a link to purchase Clearly Clean Extreme. If you want the Green Beast, same product with a dye, I can post a link for it as well. powerwash.com/shop/detergents/clearly-clean-xtreme-configure/
It varies base on frequency of service and depth of cleaning required. For this paid it would cost about $300 to $600. Regular cleaning and of a well maintained pad can go from $75 to $150 a month.
How would you do a dumpster compactor door inside a grocery store? Electric boxs every where. New system that picks up a trash can an dimps it for the store worker.. Again how to clean garbage door an or chute to compacter inside?
It helps considerably but you will still get but like 5% of what it was. We didn't use a surface cleaner here because we needed focus the blasting power of the wand.

You run the potential risk of getting fined as well as the customer. Enforcement and interpretation of the regulation vary from area to area but I can assure you that the effluent from a dumpster pad cleaning is not supposed to go into the storm drain.
It will but I thin our Power House DNB-1430 may work a bit better. 5 gallons www.powerwash.com/dnb-powerhouse-degreaser-5-gallons.html 55 gallon mix kit www.powerwash.com/dnb-1430-mix-kit.html
Great question. it will always vary based on service intervals and build up. The best thing to do is estimate how long it will take to prepare for the job (as in before you leave your shop), set up, clean, tear down and don't forget to include drive time. Then use that time and decide what you need to be profitable per hour and charge that amount.

This was quite the tast, did a great job 💪
Just use 3 cups of sodium hydroxide plus 1/4 cup Blue Dawn to 5 gal of water and x-jet it then use your surface cleaner after a 15 dwell.
Do you need hot water

How do you go about getting these jobs?
What's the best approach for actually leveraging this these types of job?
wow big change
How can I figure out what laws there are about the waste water in my county?
Start with the agency that you get you water from. Or go to those the are in charge of your waste water like for the sewage.
Thanks for this video. What is the longest time you recommend leaving Green Beast dwell?

Or another way to tackle this job is to get a flat shovel and then pressure clean 👍
Indeed that would help, prior to the application of the degreaser

How do you get hot water?
We sell a variety of hot water machines, you can find them here!

Have ever power washed candle wax and what method u used
No, but I would believe that using hot water pressure washer and turbo tip would take it right off. There my be a slight residue after cleaning.
Where can I get that chemical from that you pored into the water? That’s good for removing oil dirt and grime?

I wish where I live they would clean the garbage dumpsters. Cant even open my windows.
Turn them into the city
Great explanation 👌
Any reason you didn’t scrap off the thick layer of grease first.
We did as much as we could with a square shovel. Could have possibly got more if we had a tile scraper.
