I remember rewatching this particular trailer over and over! When Rachel says, "Bruce, this is Harvey Dent" my eyes nearly popped out of my scull. Then, seeing the scene where the gasoline is pouring onto the floor, covering half of Harvey's face while he screams "NOOO!" my brain was nearly fried. Then, I went back and froze it at 1:58, and that's when I knew we weren't just getting the Joker... we were getting the Joker AND Two-Face in the same movie. My anticipation for The Dark Knight going into the theater was through the roof. I walked out beyond satisfied. It's not often that, as a knowledgeable person of comics, a person like myself can freeze-frame and see what others aren't seeing in the trailer, and you still walk out of the movie happy. They don't make movies like that very often.

My mom and dad went to see this back when it released in 2008. I was 3 and my brother was 6 and they always remember that people looked at them because me and my brother were the only kids in the theater. Every since then I’ve been obsessed with Christopher Nolan and his Dark Knight Trilogy.
Might’ve been 9 years old when I saw this trailer in the theater. Back before you saw trailers first on RUclips. When you could only get the first look of upcoming movies at the theater. I distinctly remember the “Where do we begin?” and the DC logo disappear into shadow. I had no idea what movie this was until I saw the Joker and heard him say “Kill the Batman.” It was unlike any superhero movie trailer I had seen up to this point. Will never forgot the shock of my 9 year old self thinking “oh my god, this is actually a Batman movie and I hope, hope, hope my parents will let me see it!”
Batman Begins is a phenomenal superhero film. Dark Knight is a phenomenal film, proving itself darker and deeper than most other superhero films until it basically transcends the genre. ... Dark Knight Rises is also a film 😂😂😂
The batman trilogy is a masterpiece one of a kind. The upcoming Batman movies have a lot of pressure to replicate the same kind of thrill, excitement , action and flair .
Imagine Heath Ledger would be asked to do Joker impressions in interviews if he was still alive. I can't put the Joker to the Heath, so that'd be unnerving. And everyone would note how severe the contrast is between Joker and his actual personality.
