Bid on Mike Portnoy's signed drum kit: www.ebay.com/itm/Mike-Portnoy-Autographed-Kids-Drum-Kit-Loudwire/293471116893 All proceeds will go toward the American Brain Tumor Association

That's why I love Mike. He's a very cool, friendly guy. He gladly signed my ride cymbal when we've met some years ago in Montreal, during his Dream Theater years. We both share the love of drumming, and our mentor was indeed the great Neil Peart (RIP).
Mike, you are exactly what the doctor ordered after a lot of tears. And, apart from the therapeutic benefit of laughter, auctioning off the drumkit (complete with autograph and boot marks) in favour of the American Brain Tumor Association is so noble. Your friend and hero, Neil, would wholeheartedly approve all of this for sure. Thank you, thank you, hugs to everyone.
Thank you, Mike Portnoy, for showing people that Rock and Roll is not dead, and there are still good, humble people left in the music world! It definitely keeps in line with Neil Peart and he would be proud!
