Absolutely
SHANE STOP SNITCHING ON US KICKERS!!! Now my cousin gonna know how to fight me😭
Alucard Mikealson Lol Alex wong did a video thats the opposite of this one earlier this morning. it's on how to deal with boxers or guys who primarily rely on their hands more using kicks
Elijah Baker ill check it out.
+Alucard Mikealson Gentle Giant fan detected!
When i Will do push-ups on fists, Will be my knuckles on fists rougher and stronger?
no...wtf
NO! I hope my friend doesn't see this, I'm 70% kick based!
Same. I got my ass kicked in the last amateur mma fight by a grappler. That after spinning headkicks and body kicks 2 full rounds and he coudln't see with one eye. I need my hands and my grappling hightened...
Voltage Vocaloid This is just theory and not bad, but just against amateur kicker work.
Márk Bondor exactly! try to avoid a crocop kick with this one AHAH
Voltage Vocaloid how do you know the percent
and your and ass david so shut your mellenial ass up. and your the one who appears triggered...by anime..pathetic.
I'm a kicker and I watched this cause I need to know what the opponent thinks when I face him and this really helped me
Pls more how to beat videos!
Latina Gogo yeah how to Beat a Boxer
+Chiller 1.0 You can't
Latina Gogo he needs to
A boxer would knock the fuck out the wrestler
+AwareAware That's too much of a general statement, for example Mike Tyson vs a high school wrestler. Tyson would tear that kid apart. Likewise an Olympic wrestler would beat a beginner boxer
Using this music during the video was genius. No idea how but it just makes the video 1000x better. Also the moving camera really does make the whole video a lot more professional. Love from the highlands of Scotland 😊
Hey bro! You've been such an inspiration to me to take my training seriously and to help me have focus in them. Thanks bro!
Bj Penn should take notes.
Enan Lean haha ouch
Enan Lean damn you beat me to it
Enan Lean Lol! that was cold blooded! poor BJ
too soon lmao
Omega Zeero ha ha, possibly! sucks to see warriors get old.

Great editing on the video Shane it looks really professional

As always an amazing video keep up the good work Shane been here since 650k I think you should start a How to beat series
you're the best shane! love your videos
A skipping side kick is a very hard kick to catch/block/evade. It is like the teep kick but with more force behind it. I've been using it in our Taekwondo sparring sessions, and it is quite effective, just be sure to do it as fast as you can.
how to counte r lol there’s this tsekwondo mf who was an issue despite my mma and muay thai
Circle out?
No lie, this is what I've really needed to watch
Thanks for the video Shane. it's useful to now know some counters to watch for with me being a kicker (mainly).
Great vid Shane !!
So cool! I follow both, and I’ve learned a lot from both
thanks Shane ur still the best you tuber around
i really like your basics of each step. a kicker can not grapple i like grabbing with a scoop from turning my hand the way you do i always hit hard with across on the chin
Awesome vid Shane 👍👍
This reminds me of my friend, who is an avid wing Chun practitioner, and his encounter with an over confident taekwondo opponent. This random guy challenged him in a gymnasium like a movie and my friend defeated him very easily by staying in close range and stepping on his feet constantly. On that day it was Wing Chun 1...Taekwondo zero
did you guys get a new sweet setup for videos? so smooth with the in and out transitions.
Great tips!
Its nice when two yt hosts cooperate like this ^^
You made what i asked for, thanks man!
awesome video man
Yo Shane!Nice video brother, karateka here😃.Nice advise however everybody following this advice keep in mind a well trained karateka mostly shotokan style will be very fast in his footwork and counter so you have to be very fast to land these shots.Like Conor said speed balance and flexibility are keys and most of the times a well rounded karateka or tkwd guy rocks these fundamentals
i really needed this. thank you
i just got back from South Side boxing great video Shane
great video shane
Yay finally answered my question, thank you so much
Thanks, you two! These vids are always great to watch and appreciated :)
amazing video man!!! usefull as allways. #TeamGNT , can you do a video of how to beat fighters who does a lot of spin kicks pleaase!!?
i usually fight guys who use spinkicks a lot and i want to know how to counter them
step in fast
Nice camerawork on this vid Shane
Alex Wong! I always loved her training videos. She's a damnn good TKD practitioner.
Very good tutorial. And I agree with you 100%. You do not want to step back. As that makes more room, for them to come in with kicks. As a master in taekwondo. I can tell you the worst thing an opponent can do. Is to back away from someone who is good with their feet.
Shane is a GOAT for underdogs ✊🐐
great vid.
very nice !
Would've liked to see you do this against someone your own size, since the ranges would be much different. I feel like these tips work best when you're countering the kicker and not when the kicker is waiting to counter you. Great video, though! :)
Man you are reallu smooth
Thank you so much😍😍😍
I remember seeing you at metro flex I wanted to shake your hand and say thanks for all the awesome vids
the camera works is mesmerizing!!!!
Thank you good sir
Shane you should do a video on evading/countering the side kick and push kick.
If you can get close enough to the kicker attack their hamstrings and leg joints to slow their kicks. Striking the groin can be a good distraction to get them to lower their guard
Good video guys!
Ill check out Alex's channel. :)
Amazing
you now that one art of fighting is nota Every time good
I'm glad I know way more then just my kicking background. I started Taekwondo when I was 3 and then I started wrestling at 12. then started learning jiu jistu at 14 because wrestling has no techniques from the back. I started taking boxing seriously a little over a year ago and when I turn 18 this year I'm hoping to get some amateur mma fights
Updates? :D
Yeah dude..wish you best lucks.
Updates?
Shane, what are you using as a stabilizer cam? It looks great, don't over use it
Ok legit I thought you got Michelle Waterson on this. lol. Great stuff man! For some reason the people that I have sparred with the most have taekwondo backgrounds. thanks for the tips Shane!
Great points. Although When you make the C-shape to evade their lead leg round kick, just watch out for that same leg back kick from that new southpaw stance. This is a very common off a missed lead leg round kick.
Yo Shane! With the first tip i wondered, since it only works with a kick to the body but would put you in a disadvantage when the kick is a faint/ goes to the legs for example.
I normally time the kick with a counter block & simultaneous punch. Takes a bit of time to work out the timing though.
Can you do more videos regarding MMA ? like takedowns n stuff?
great advice since im a puncher.respect&honor 2 both of you.
Yes thank you.
nice tips
Bro, i'd like to suggest something to you, how would you like sparring with a black belt in karate or taekwondo and help create the video, it will be very interesting to watch
Please do how to beat Amerido-Te. That art is wicked.
Thank you
........Imma use this in my TKD sparring 👌
shane plz make a video about the cross with heavy bag
Thanks y'all! I need all I can get :)
Thank you Shane if it wasn't for you i could have not stood up to my bully's. god bless your heart and thank you
This is why the question mark kick is so useful if done right!
shane could you pls. do a video on how to fight a fast fighter
great Shane now you've shown to everyone how to defend against me. Im just kidding, now I have to improve my kicking technique
Great video, to bad i'm a kicker. Can you make a video about beating a grappler with kicking like wonderboy
please can you make a video teaching muay Thai because I really want to be able to step up for my self and it would really help me for my self defence and help me not get mocked all the time
Shane, please do a collab video with Rich Piana (or if you can't get him, Jason Genova) on how to slap box :D
Make a video on how to overcome the fear of fighting. I think that would be a good idea.
This video is very conditional based. As someone both trained in Taekwondo akd Karate styles. I can say at black belt levels they typically throw quick one two kicks. With the first being to bring your guard down or open. So you can't expect them to throw a one kick them you counter. Most martial arts teach you once you're proficient to throw three techniques at least.
Great vid Shane, question, I am the 'kicker'. Any tips on how to beat aggressive step-in fighters? Cheers!
do a how to fight like khabib and what are your predictions on the upcoming ufc card?
Its super cool, this has been useful for me
The problema is that Taekwondo guys don't do just one kick they follow with two or three more with that explosive feet agility
Thank u lot
Hahaha the description "tkd and karate-style fighters can be tricky" that's our thing! XDD
oh shit haha I needed this one
Hey Shane, I do Tang Soo Do which is very similar to taekwondo and we also mostly use kicks when we fight as it's the best defence/offence in most cases. However, Im short and I fight tall people at competitions and it's really difficult to score any points, could you make a video covering kicker vs kicker but one being tall and quick against someone who is significantly shorter pls? id love to see this, thanks!
Yes, please! As a tall kicker, I'd like to know my weaknesses :)
Can you put up a video on how to use the Kaioken ?
Why are female martial artist so attractive?
kaledov because who doesn't like a girl who can whoop ass. Instant attractive
+Universal Kombat weak man love saying that
i think its the amazon syndrome
wear some guys are attracted to women who are strong
NeostormXLMAX Amazon syndrome I like the sound of that.
Amazing. It almost seems like that someone who exercises and eats right will be more attractive than the average pig in the trailer park. I wonder if studies can be done to see if a definitive link can be discovered.
There are counters for that though, for example, once the kick misses you could do a slide step to get out of the puncher's range, and if they keep chasing you, you could throw a back kick or a side kick. Also, a lot of the counters you've shown here assume that a kicker is completely helpless at close range, which is usually not the case with TKD/Karate fighters, who are usually pretty decent with other types of strikes as well. It also assumes that they don't know how to counter a clinch, which is not always the case.
five stars as always 😊
shane why don't you make a review on the jab ball , this is a new video project for you 😊 good luck 👍😊
"liver shots are wonderful" - awesome! Then, as Master Ken states: Restomp the groin! :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice
increible
hey shane my brother has become very aggressive lately and we've got into a number of fights recently but I don't like hitting him. Although he is bigger I know and practice more and can usually get on top of him but he still tries to throw heavy punches
Shane could you do some submission videos
When someone swings a kick at you never go back to try and Dodge the kick. Always step into the kick and get right next to them, that way you're able to throw the kicker off balance.
