Very interesting album and I think the first time I've seen a vclt video where the vclt was delivered in person! Glad you had a good time with Jason. i'm gonna check out his channel. Hmmm $20 for 15 minutes of early entry doesn't sound like much of a bargain. Maybe I'm missing something?!?!?!?!
Hey Steve - You aren't missing anything. That's more than a dollar a minute, and I bet he struggled to squeeze in and flip through the bins. I have resolved never to pay the early access fee again 🙂
I really like the VCT received from Jason, although I don't know much about the band. I'm looking forward to hearing what you got from the show. Our local record show was held at a similar venue a few years back. It was pretty dark.
I'm glad others struggle with remembering info before recording. I try to live by advice Vinyl Richie gave me once: "Just keep talking and don't worry about any misinformation." Paraphrased, of course. I liked all the adjectives used to describe this record.
That was fun hanging out! Good thing we took a quick picture after to mark the occasion. I just uploaded my recap video too and VCLT. Glad you dug the record! Its obscure but pretty cool. Cheers man
I have a tough time too with stuff i want to say on my videos. I just try to remember as much as i can and wing it from there. Lol. I think you always do a great job on your videos.
This is the first time I the “Drone Exp” music, I know of Brian Eno and other similar bands but had never heard the “Category”. Thanks for this and did you know they now have those little teleprompters, yeah just like at the Oscars but in your basement 🥸🎶✌🏼
I believe Marlon would also have his lines written on cue cards affixed around the actor he was opposite as well as taped on them. 😂that album sounds fantastic. Cheers
Anything Low Noize likes is worth a listen. Our big record show in St. Lou is at the American Czech Hall. I end up spending more money on Czech beer than records. 20 bucks is serious cash to show up early. Ours is 7 or 8 and it's hard for me to pay that. Anyway, cheers and hopefully they change the venue!
“Is that right? Have I got that right?”…”It is small, and therefore cramped”…”All in all just unpleasant”…”This is a dismal place”…I like your description of that record, and it sounds like something I’d enjoy. ✌️
No pants? That may be more comfortable. I have heard that some news anchors do not wear pants. It has something to do with the way the shirt hangs... Maybe I should try that!
It's the Show of Downtown Records, isn't it? I know exactly what you are talking about with trying to remember the data. I always try to have in my head what I'm going to say about a certain record and then remember a day later that I forgot to say it. Or I just forget everything completely. What was I saying again? Wait a minute....who's channel is this and what's it doing in my Facebook feed?
Sorry to say this HP, but I'd say it's just a little bit more than remembering your lines needed with your acting 😂You've really encouraged me to not go to that record fair. At least that good fella Jason was there. I love all of that kinda music too.
Yeah, there may be more to acting than remembering lines, so that might also discount me from that profession. Stymied again. Oh well ... Maybe I'll take acting classes when I retire.
That's the best kind of vclt from Jason. Something you don't know but turns out to be great. The record fair on the other hand sounds pretty awful. $20 early entry fee. You'd never get away with that in Yorkshire.
Yorkshire seems more civilized. Three years ago, the early entry fee was $30! My friend convinced me to pay it, but I wish I hadn't. I mean, I could have bought a great record for that price 🙂
I love albums that you get when you have no idea about the music. It is great to delve into something new Interesting description of the music.
I agree! I should always buy records that I have never heard of 🙂😀👍
Experimental drone is a new category for me. It's great that you were able to meet up with Jason and it was nice of him to gift some VCLT.
Yes, it was a fun day. VCLT is a great way to counteract the feeling that I spent too much money at the record show!

I am always happy to hear new music, and I really like this record from Jason 👍

That's pretty good advice. I'd hate to be the source of misinformation! But, maybe I could be the subject of some cool memes 🙂

I'll watch it as soon as I get home. I'm enjoying some refreshments with some friends in a local pub 🙂🍺

Ha ha! I have done some reshoots from time-to-time 😔

Maybe I need to buy one of those teleprompters! That almost seems like cheating, though 🙂
@@EmbryonicRobot I kind of is, at least that’s what I think… I prefer the natural imperfect presentations 👌🏼
@@TheVinylLoungeMtl Me too!

I think that's the way I would have to do it, too: cue cards everywhere! With that, I could have been a great actor 🙂

More money spent on beer than vinyl is not a bad thing 👍🙂

I'm just old and cantankerous now. I think you might like that record 🙂
$20 for 15 minutes - you can scrabble around smashing into people to find that one grail in the dark! Spiral sounds interesting.
I hope he found his grail! 🙂
Rumours told that Marlon Brando acted in his last film The Score without pants. So who knows how many VC members do their videos "Brando way".

Age is also clearly a factor now. That's a sad statement. I hate reading notes, but sometimes, you have no choice 🙂
@@EmbryonicRobot Hey, the way I look at it, two old and nearly senile men ran for president down in the states, so we still may have a chance.
