This is why MHA is sooo great. All the themes of personal struggles and the great characters makes this show one of the best imo.
Whenever I watch a video or see a post on Ochako Uraraka, I always see her being criticised by her "weak motives" or "only a love intrest"
This video made me happy because now I know theres people out there that can see more to Ochako.

You should see the Toga vs Ochako fight. Ochako said “I am trying to save as many people as I can!” And she really does want to help people. It’s also very admirable how she wanted to put aside her feelings for Deku because she admired the way he put out his very best and how much he wants to help. She wanted to be just like him. She puts her all into heroism, which is so wholesome.
Do you know how many gang wars you have fueled by just calling Uraraka best girl?

Yes agreed ochacho is adorable and everytime i see her in mha episodes she makes me feel happy cause shes the most wholesome hero in the fandom of it
Not only that in the sports festival, the battle she had against Bakugo, he actually gave her the respect which is something that coming from Bakugo of all people.

I'd add this from the manga tho, she's focusing now on becoming a hero for the heroes as she questioned herself "If a hero was in trouble, then who's gonna safe them?"

@@TheLunchTimeCrew Yea it's been her current plot point since the overhaul arc when she criticized herself for not being able to save nighteye.. And it payed off.
I feel like they will give uraraka her own arc and her quirk might awaken.
YES!!! An reason why ochako is an amazing character! She's my fav character, my friends hated her cuz they think she wants deku and only wants money 😭
In conclusion tho. They haven't seen how much effort she gets to make her family proud even the odds are against her. She stand tall even she is damaged or hurt. She help others by knowing what it should be, and she considered reality into consideration like having her parents happy. No one in the show shows these meaning since they just want themselves to be on top of others. But Uraraka, she just wants to make her family proud while being afraid of losing her friends and others need help. She thinks about herself if she could be a hero, deeply hurting her own but she must stand tall. The only reason why she is used to be Deku's love interest is to know what she had been capable of, is because technically love can help you use yourself to love your own while helping people for those who might need. I kinda felt that there's a reason why Ochaco hasn't been seen in recent Episodes because they are truly fulfilled Todoroki and Katsuki Character Development and Thoughs, maybe we could get Ochaco's true motives that conclude the true meaning of her quirk.

I love this, Ochako is one of my two favorite characters in MHA (with deku being my other favorite) and she gets so much criticism online from people who clearly don't understand her character, literally the only thing I can think of that she needs is more screen time, so it's nice to see that there are people who understand her character so well☺️☺️🥰

Horikoshi is not super good to express stuff for his girls characters, and I always thoughts Uraraka somewhat lacked the developpement of her male counter parts... But You brought up what I liked about her!

Amazing video!! Uraraka is my favorite character in teh series and I was looking for a video about her. This was great! I think you should make another video about "Evolution of Uraraka" covering all her best moments so far.

(This is really long, sorry. You’ve been warned)
As someone when starting watching anime
The only female leads I saw were magical girls
And they kinda annoyed the crap out of me
Then I watched my hero and I saw ochaco
She was everything I needed
She’s cute
She’s kind
She has a character
And she kicks ass
She fights her own battles and doesn’t need Deku to swoop in and save her all the time
In fact it’s the other way around a lot
She has a clear motive
She develops and improves as a character
Like truly
She did end up getting a crush on Deku just to say F feelings I’m going my own way
I see a lot of people slandering her, saying she’s not that cool.
I feel like those people only see her shipping potential honestly.
When I’m just looking through the eyes of someone who has been deprived of proper badass anime superhero female leads who use their powers to their fullest extent
Such an amazing character, she’ll always be my favorite and the best! Excellent video, keep up the great work man!
