Basically the students know what is coming they know people will die.
This reasoning is kinda like a surivivours remourse, they are wonder is thing could have been different what could have been or if it could still be changed, while still steeling themselves for what is to come
EX: (This is prominently seen in Injustice 2 with Superman and Batman missing the persons they were back then...before beginning their final battle )
Their thoughts are also direct oposition to the villian and even the heroes soceity feels that things are set in stone and can't be changed now
They should know about Toga's new ability. I mean during talk between Uraraka and Toga, she told that she transformed into Uraraka and used her quirk to kill multiple people.
Let's appreciate the *development* Deku had to go from not being able to talk to Uraraka when they first met, to effortlessly shower her with compliments (including on her physical appearance with her hair). Lowkey flirting. lol
Deku’s development with Uraraka advances the stronger he gets, this is power of friendship stuff
The name Deku is in of itself a low key flirt. His name means useless, but he defines it her way even over the word misunderstanding. It makes everyone super awkward sometimes but it always makes her happy. It is quite literally only something she understands fully.

So it's used to mean "blockhead" I'm not really sure why it was translated as "It means useless" it's not what it means. It means stupid if anything. So a girl thinking someone being called doll being cute isn't weird.
Deku went from being incapable to even saying a word to Uraraka when they first met, to fervently telling her how great she is and showering her with compliments.
On next chapter I think Ashido, Sero, Mineta & Kaminari will spy on those two from the window to hear their conversations Ashido would be like why don’t they just date or kiss already & Mineta will get jealous & heartbroken💔of Midoriya again & for Kaminari probably jealous just incase & for Sero don’t know if he wants to be part of this or not & then they’ll get caught by Tsu, Jiro, Shoji & Yaoyorozu & they’ll get scolded by them & they’ll tell Deku x Uraraka about spying & they’ll get in trouble

I know some people wanted a big romantic scene now, but honestly it's just nice to see Deku wondering how Uraraka was feeling, him showing appreciation to her, and them talk about their similar values. It's nice to have something that feels more natural first before a grand romantic scene and given the heavy atmosphere of the situation at hand.

For me the characters didn’t really seem unrealistic or aloof, just really tiered and traumatised.
But it makes sense that they seem off to others I guess, which is what veterans often do. They lost part of their humanity and personality after all.
The atmosphere in this chapter made me want to cry as it is the polar opposite if when they first moved into their UA dorms, where despite being through something traumatising they still were cheerful and had everyday stuff on their mind.
Now instead of doing a room contest they have to deal with war preparations and if all their ideals can still hold up.
At this point they are traumatized and still don't know if they will live or not
It would be nice if they could've shown a montage of the students doing patrol stuff. My HOPE is that Horikoshi wants to keep us in the dark about how much the class has advanced since the War arc, so that when the big fight happens we're blown away. Haha I imagine Deku preparing to face a whole army of Nomu's and Lib army ect, but then the rest of hte class just SWEEPS them out of hte way and someone, maybe Mineta says, "don't waste your strength on the small fry, GO", and as Deku flies past, seeing the class make dominate he goes "Ok... obviously I was going easy on them back when I was trying to escape them.... but looks like they clearly were holding back TOO..."

I feel like that was Shoto in a half joking sense. Like he wants things to not turn out for the worst, but obviously knows if Dabi is stopped (and not dead) that he's gonna be in prison. I could see Dabi die by his flame overuse and Shoto eat the udon to mourn him or something.
Yeah, I see dabi possibly doing a Vader and being persuaded by shoto, and going toe 2 toe with either AFO or shiggy. And in turn that would lead to his death.

Either way tho, It's still awesome to see him again since he's the first one we saw cheer him on.

Hawks killing twice was seen as super unheroic so it’s likely that the theme is going to be that true heroes don’t kill. Not gonna say shiggy won’t die but I think Deku is going to hit him with a quirk erasing bullet to purge AFO from his mind.
@@ivy-queenofworms and letting some serial murderer who could easily break out of prison and kill more people live is even less heroic, Shigaraki without using quirks is stronger than the Nomu who fought all might.
This "everyone deserves to be saved" ideology is stupid and unrealistic, forcing Midoriya to grow up would be far better than having him still think he can save everyone, also they've foreshadowed Shigaraki dying anyways lmao.
I'm sad this series is coming to a close. It's what got me into anime and it's helped me find so many things and learn how to draw. I thank Horikoshi for creating this story and universe. I also thank him for making my middle school and beginning of high school easier despite a pandemic and everything that's happened personally. I thank this fandom for being interesting and mostly welcoming even though it can be toxic and hard to deal with at times. And I thank you all at plot armor for showing me the way of great storytelling and pointing out things I'd probably never notice on my own.

personally i perfer manga stories end around on average to 300 to 400 with max at 500 chapters, rather just keep going and going, and going like frigging energizer bunny.
don't get me wrong, i love long running stories like one piece still despite its one those legendary long saga's but due to length of it, i just read the manga, and pass on the anime.
Same goes to naurto into boruto, or give another example bleach some times just got wrap a story up, or end up stumbling over own toes.
While MHA wasn’t my exact first, it was definitely the catalyst for me. And it still remains my favorite.

Well Uraraka confessed to Deku about her having the strange feeling of wanting to save Toga. And Deku understand her completely, because he feels the same way for Shigaraki. But I say after this IzuOcha moment, I feel like Deku and Uraraka’s relationship is developing further, and They might end up together sooner than we thought💚💖🔥!!! Since they both realize they’re both exactly alike! Also we notice the way Deku keeps looking at Uraraka🥺💚💖

This isn't exactly the time for romance and dating, Japan is literally getting torn apart. They can worry about all of that AFTER the massive war between heroes and villains where people are going to straight up die. Though, they're at the point in their relationship where they'll probably just casually and unspokenly get together at the end. Assuming everyone lives.
Bro this chapter makes me sad. I can't imagine being a mother and having to say goodbye to your son (with the anxiety running in the back of your mind wondering if this is the last time you'll ever see him again). Not only that but shoto is open to the idea of getting to know his brother touya and it's quite sad because that may not happen. As much as I hate endeavor you could tell that the plans really pain him because his dead son is actually alive and now may actually end up dying before he (as in endeavor) could really show him how much he changed let alone apologize for his shitty behavior as a father/parent. I don't think that midorya and uraraka are alone in that type of thought process. I mean being a hero doesn't just mean saving people physically it's also being a role model for people and villains. As a fan, I have the same thought process all though I can't forgive touya for letting twice die but i still wish for the league of villains to be saved. It may be a very childish dream of mine but seeing other UA students considering the same possiblity seems oddly comforting. however seeing the ruins of what once was a city filled with people, it doesn't seem like it can be forgiven so easily I mean lives were lost. I mean it hasn't been too long since the last war just happened and now there is another one in preparation that can leave students in training to be casualties and not just them but the overworked heroes as well. I have conflicting thoughts on the matter but seeing togas face makes me have a slight amount of hope. (side note midoriya complimenting uraraka like that gives me so much happiness i love it.

On the Todoroki situation, while most of it is Endeavor's fault (with a very small bit of responsibility falling on Rei too), in a sense, some of this falls on Touya as well. While it's understandable he hates Endeavor and rejects the whole idea of him changing (after all look at Natsuo), that doesn't change the fact that the father did change for the better. Also Touya turned his back on his family, hating all of them, not just Endeavor (though obviously he hates him the most). And its not only due to his parents neglect, or Endeavor's (past) abuse, but he rejects the whole idea that any of his family cared about him, or even loved him, ever. Sure, its more believable to not see that Endeavor did and does love him due to Endeavor abuse and past insanity (must less his own), but he seems not to believe even the possibly that Rei loved/loves him. Same seem to go for his younger sister and brothers, despite them all being way younger than him, that they all did care and worry about him, and Shoto was too young to actually try to do something to him. And its partly due to the unchecked mental health of three unbalanced members of that family, with one of them having a unneeded one-side jealous grudge and hatred he created himself of of nowhere, one by one is driven insane and after years of this only one of them gets any mental health (and surprise its the least insane of the three who get treated as if she was the most insane of them all).
@@wanna-be-thinker2377 Rei isn't the "least insane" she's a victim of abuse and had to be hospitalized because she harmed her child by spilling boiling water on his face. Endeavor is abusive and it's exactly why I hate him. I'm not saying he did a complete 360 but he acknowledges the fact that he's the reason his family is the way it is and that takes a lot for a person the own up to. I gotta give credit where it's due but he really needs to get some help to learn how to properly develop a healthy relationship with his family (if that's even possible at this point). I mean I'm not justifying dabi's actions (for rejecting his family) but his dad deemed him as a failure, only used him for his own needs, and neglected his son's mental and physical well-being. Endeavor may have tried to protect Touya from burning himself with his quirk but will you look at that he did it by yet again rejecting to acknowledge touya's feelings. When touya tried to talk to his brother about it his thought on the matter were rejected. I understand why dabi came to be after the mistreatment and neglect touya went through. in other words, the family needs to go to therapy asap bahahahahahaha.
@@loveobrosey6845 I'm not saying that Rei isn't a victim of Endeavor's abuse or insanity ('cause she is), but she did have poor mental health, a lot of which, of course, was due to her husband. (I also consider there to be a difference between responsibility and blame, the latter of which in this situation is 80%-95.95% Endeavor's insanity or not.) As for Touya and Natsuo, I can't fault an 8-9 year old for not being able to comprehend things like a teenager or an adult. Also, I also think two things kept this going for so long. 1.) The stigma mental health and mental illness has all over the world (both in the MHA world and IRL), and 2.) In a since, the same thing that make Shiggy what he is. A man (an insane one in Enji/Endeavor's case, and traumatized one in Kotaro's case & btw there should still no excuse in either of their case) gets a whole lot of money, power and status and uses it to get what HE wants, including controlling his family to be how HE wants it (or at least try too in Endeavor's case).

My hero academia has been such an important part of my life and development as an adult. I’m very blessed I got to be apart of this community throughout the years
MHA has gotten me through the pandemic probably more than anything else.

Bakugou's mom saying goodbye makes me think she said "you die and no afterlife is gonna stop me from taking you out of there and grounding you myself".
I can understand what was intended here. It's about acknowledging your enemies as human, because when you don't you run a big risk of becoming a monster yourself. It's staring into the void and knowing with a few differences they would be the villains. It's actually a really important part of growth of both people and the society they will build.

That's not really what I got from their conversation. To me it seemed more like a way for them to realize that they were still lacking perspective. At the very least, they're like 15 and don't have a lot of life experience, so I think there's something interesting about these young people realizing what they're not understanding about the world around them, especially when they're forced into a position were they have to save it (and probably restore their country afterward). Young people tend to believe that they know how the world works, but even adults struggle with really understanding the world around them.

If Horikoshi plans to speed up the manga, I think it would be a good idea for Studio Bones to make filler episodes as they can provide more depth to what’s happening, as well as get some answers and things to happen that horikoshi may not include in the manga. Personally, I want to see more of class 1-B and 2nd and 3rd year students
One could only hope, assuming they have the room to add stuff when the necessary season comes.

I'm glad deku and uraraka's friendship has developed to this point.
This is definitely and emotionally driven chapter and was complete opposite of the last ones because we got the villains perspective now we got the heroes and Deku and Uraraka finally talk that was the best.
I am honestly so proud of deku he's gona from not being able to talk to girls to being able to have a normal and important conversation
Shoto feels like it's almost impossible to bring his brother back. He knows that's it's likely that one of the or endeavor will die. So him saying that makes sense because it's hope. The feeling that it's possible.
That single page where people are saying goodbye could be an episode or two. A period to reflect on the people the heroes helped and protected for nearly a year. I would love to hear the conversation between Deku and his mom, especially since he was gone for so long. Oh. And a conversation with Eri! I need it.

I think the Shoto’s statement at the end is one of those wistful comments of what could have been with his brother. Like one of those huffs and quick laughs about an idea you know could never happen.
Man These Latest chapters of Mha just proves why Ochako is Best Girl of the series.
This chapter once again *disproves* the people that have called Uraraka a 'pick me' girl love interest. Here she was focused on the conflict at hand... and not just a love interest chasing after the MC as some have claimed.

The point of my hero is how the the league points out the flaws of the super human world and how stopping them isn't enough. If the heroes want peace they need to help build a world were people can truly live in peace. Free from discrimination for how they look or how their quirk makes them act, and free of arranged quirk marriages, you can even argue that even hero rankings one incentivize heroes to not work together efficiently chase clout IE Stain. Hero ranking is also the cause of Endeavors whole destructive goal of being the number one hero and destroying his family. The villains are not evil the world of My hero is not a fair, but their actions are not justifiable. The villains will be put into jail but will find happiness knowing that these young people will carry their dreams in creating a better world. In the words of MLK a protest is the voice of the unheard and the voices have been heard through Deku, Shoto and Uraraka.

The shipping part of me wishes the conversation between the 2 went a bit further, so we can get a definitive, romantic confession from either of them, but this more serious talk where they express their aspirations towards the future and feelings towards the other is what I do believe, the better overall decision Hirokoshi could've made as it's a much mature discussion than the onea Deku and Uraraka usually have where one or both would get flustered and their conversations would usually end at that.
Personally, I think Delu and Bakigou are more likely.

The speed running was definitely more obvious to me here. Since it definitely like felt more could’ve been done before the final battle could begin. But then again I’ve seen quite a few fans just go, “ugh, call me when the fighting starts” so maybe Horikoshi is just cutting to the chase here and covering the essentials.

Incredible chapter here, absolutely insane and amazing setup and more here, fantastic. All the dumb slander Hori-san had to deal with until this point, people are so short term with their comments in the community. Fantastic chapter, I always told people Hori-san is a professional writer and writes slowly well like Oda and gets to things when necessary, when he can, and saves things when the right time is for it. 4000/10, fantastic Izuocha talk from Izuku and Ochako here. We got alot of insight from both sides from them and got to even see Ochako give deep talk on how she’s feeling and what happened. And even better got them both talking and relating about their villains and wanting to save them!! And sharing it with each other, 40,000/10. Love this amazing chapter this week, forever timeless one here. Glad were getting downtime during the war before things get crazy in it here for the final war arc, season 7 starts here at 341 chapter in my opinion and will be a final war arc season and in the marketing. Thats just my predictions at least. Loved the Iida moment, dont forget to brush your teeth! Very important, nice Kaminari panels, nice Uraraka panels and Izuku. Also we got Mashle and One Punch man in My Hero Academia!! Love to see it, that guy at the start looks just like him and those characters I swear. Fantastic chapter as always, Horikoshi-san is killing it once again and making people look bad hating on him for no reason. 4000/10 again, cant stress that enough. Fantastic chapter, really loved this one and forever timeless with the awesome Izuocha Izuku x Ochako talk. One of my favorites in the series forever for sure, thank you Hori-san.

12:53 the story started with something along the lines with "this is the story of how i became the greatest hero" so i feel like this is more or less just a flashback and has already happened
Ok. This chapter was great levity and was PACKED with great hints on where this 2nd war is going. Mainly the villain plot. Which I will HAPPILY talk about.
But 1st let’s start with Uraraka and Deku’s moment. I think it’s been made abundantly clear Uraraka likes Deku. But the reverse has been LESS clear simply from it not getting much attention since season 1 and a bit of season 2. That long line of compliments of her character and him sneaking in a compliment of her hair was PRECIOUS. Seems she didn’t quite catch it from being distracted. (I hope she didn’t ignore it rather.) But their mutual feelings on wanting to save their perspective villains, and Uraraka’s observance that she may have already lost her chance for Toga. Simply from belief conflict being unable to cross the bridge. I pointed out that Toga may VERY well end up facing Monoma as someone who could look at her emotions as someone…VERY likely related to her. This all continues to fuel my belief Uraraka will want to be Deku’s backup. Much sooner than later.
The training remaining secret has me concerned. I NEED confirmation Deku’s power is no longer 45%. If that is NOT confirmed, the heroes are very likely going to lose the 2nd war. (They won the 1st even if it lead to this.) And that may force the kids into hiding in a 2nd series with AFO/AFS in charge of the world. Because…well. Global domination was always the goal for AFO. And he can DO IT. With or without OFA honestly.
Few things that need attention for the 2nd war coming. The fact the villains are going to act TODAY, tells us that their 1st phase DOES NOT involve Shigaraki. And that means where the heroes ARE is of no consequence. Because AFO can’t steal OFA, only AFS can. What matters is where the heroes are NOT. And that’s UA. The fact that Nezu came with them is surprise surprise, ANOTHER red flag. Mainly because if he IS on the hero’s side, he is not serving his purpose to the heroes. He is not acting as a planner of events and informant to the kids. He is simply there taking in BOTH these secret plans. For that being the case, the fact AFO is acting today is VERY jarring. He must have a specific target in mind at UA. I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. Eri is NOT looking well protected right about now. Aizawa is with Kurogiri if I saw that right, likely because he’s going to use erasure on him and it won’t work. Because AFO will warp him away before his eyes. And if that can happen to Kurogiri, Machia is ALSO one he can warp. The captured villains is a pretty mute point. Because AFO has vomit warp.
Eri might have a short horn right now, but AFO can juice her up for use with his many quirk boosters. I still don’t think he will outright take rewind. Forcible quirk activation is just too perfect for the circumstances. It’s too broken for AFO to steal rewind entirely. Or we may learn he can’t use it on himself if he’s in possession of the quirk. As downsides of rewind are still pretty unclear. It’s why I still think it’s more powerful than New Order for the time being.
So since there’s 4 days, the question is how will All-Might reenter this? So long as there are 2 AFO’s, Deku can’t POSSIBLY win. If AFO juices Eri but there’s too much remaining, it would give All-Might what he needs to get back to prime. AFO is his responsibility FAR more than Deku. The symbol of peace is gone, but all evidence still points to the 8th holder remains.
One point towards the "Villains win, start second series" idea: the name of the new base being "Troy" and the ties to Greek mythology. Troy fell, but its survivors won big in the "sequel" when they founded Rome.
@@angbandsbane I haven’t read up on Roman/Greek mythos in YEARS. (They’re the same but different names if I recall.) I of course remember the Trojan horse legend. But I don’t remember the city of Troy coming back and winning in a 2nd battle. Seems their lack of power preparation might be on purpose if you’re correct though.

Considering how the chapter switched to their classmates and what they were doing for a moment there's also a slight chance that during their talk they confessed to each other while we didn't get to view it ourselves. I much rather it happen after the war is over and I'd like to see their whole class reacting to them confessing to one another especially Mina's reaction.

Ahhh that's true about Eri's horn! I guess the idea is they really want to limit how long she can use the Quirk, otherwise it can basically solve any problem.
Which is a shame because now that I think of it, the most satisfying comeuppance for AFO would NOT be death, but to have all his Quirks removed: i.e. from Eri's rewind, and then in one last moment of rebellion Shiggy removes his hands. Then you'd have an AFO who would live a long, mortal life with NO powers at all. Contrary to what many say, I do not think AFO is some BRILLIANT mastermind: he's not stupid but there's no tactic he uses that isn't what ANY criminal could do with his opportunities and resources. He's basically a reasonable capable man born rich who is too big to fail. Imagine if that was taken from him
I hate when stories do this with villains. Like, sure, the villains were screwed over by most of society and their motives are understandable, but why do the heroes always have to forgive them for their actions because of that?
There are many characters in these kinds of stories that were also screwed over, but you don’t see them murdering entire masses of people who may or may not be innocent.
The villains’ motives are understandable, but it certainly doesn’t make their actions forgivable, and I think that after all that Class 1-A has seen in terms of death and suffering so far, they shouldn’t be so empathetic with the villains anymore. At least, Uraraka shouldn’t be so hung up over Toga, who has done nothing but hurt others throughout the series. And Deku certainly shouldn’t still be prioritizing saving Shigaraki in his mind at all, now that he’s seen all that Shigaraki has done.
Forgiveness doesn't mean freedom from accountability. You can understand and forgive someone for their actions, but that doesn't mean they aren't to be held accountable.
I hope for the sake of Midnight’s memory that Momo becomes a great leader when this war begins and she comes out alive

Terrific chapter and all I can think of is Deku finally being able to stick a superhero landing.
For me
Deku is getting cooler and cooler every chapter
Bakugo is getting drippier and drippier every chapter
And Todoroki is being more appreciative of what he has, even though his brother is a villain, he still wants some family time with him.
Horikoshi is trying to say that we should be appreciative of what we have no matter if it may be bad (I don’t mean you should like it but be appreciative of it)
The sense of appreciation has always been in the story, but here it was noticed a lot more clearly
And the sense to be a hero and to save some of the villains from all class 1a students shows there thoughtfulness
I think plot armor is forgetting these guys are still kids. We don't buckled down with needless hate until we get older. Deku and uruchaka have only been taught love. Even their approach to hero work is love. Protect not defeat. Defeating people is a byproduct of the mission of protection. Plus almost everyone has broken rules and laws at this point taboos dabbled in they don't have a black and white view of morality anymore
The problem with it is that this is where the grown ups and the pros should step in and teach them about how to be heroes.
They're in their second (technically still first) year of hero school and the story makes it seem like they're already pros who know what to do or have no guidance other than their own experiences.

@@jase276 Deku is the only 1A student that should be involved in this. I get that his friends want to help, but no one else, not even Bakugo or Todoroki stand a chance at keeping up. Realistically, they would all get killed the moment Shigaraki or AFO show up. If any student should be involved, it should be the seniors that just graduated (Mirio, Tamaki, Nejire, etc).
Besides them, it should just be the pro Heroes. What else are they there for?

Plot armor I also notice death arms on that scene, for the chapter I really liked it especially Izuku and Ochaco because not only it's a moment that could help for the develop into a romantic relationship but the important thing is that they found some common ground with Toga and Tomura, honestly being the least percent of characters that right now are watching they're world with different eyes, also Shoto thinking about his situation with Lida, Katsuki, and Eijiro shows how they want to be there for him, Lida and Shoto also have a good friendship and I really loved that detail, still surprised how Bakugo landed that joke, and The infiltrators part was something that we should have expected. Love this series with it's highs and lows and very worried about the ending.
I am willing to bet that the last panel or chapter is where Deku reaches out to shigaraki in a way to save him from AFO. In a way that deku is fighting AFO instead of shik. Resulting in deku in potentially dying but saving Shik from such hatred.

@@1fan899 Yea but its definitely different in this series. In Demon Slayer, most demon slayer children are already Tanjiro's age when they go through final selection. In Naruto, the average age a Ninja fights is more direct to their skill level, where even a 12 y/o can be in the black ops. In Bleach, most characters have no sense of age because they've been alive for centuries and the characters who do have a sense of age are feeling more responsibility than anything else. The main difference in MHA is that this situation is so unprecedented. The 'verse literally has a hero structure specifically designed for pro-fully fledged heroes to fight against the villains and bad guys of the story. On top of that, the law and police structure is designed to uphold a boundary between professional heroes and everyone else. Remember when a bunch of students got in trouble for defending themselves against imminent death? Where tf did that sentiment and idea go during this arc. And its not like they're necessarily more powerful than any of the professional heroes either, modt of them havent fully developed at all. Just look at the big three of Class 1A vs the pro heroes, they are literal children in comparison, they obviously haven't fully developed which means their abilities haven't either. They also have significantly less experience and significantly more life left in them, and yet they're thrown at the enemies like front line Marines. (Btw this may seem like I'm sort of attacking you but I'm not, its more of my disapproval of the 'verse's 180° regarding morals throughout the series. Ie. they push one agenda in the first few seasons and by the end of the story, its a complete flip flop)

Honestly, if the LOV weren’t killing people and promoting a “do as you please without consequences” lifestyle, Ochako and Izuku and a good chunk of 1-A would be helping the LOV instead of fighting them because the world they live in now gives too much props to people with flashy quirks and to much crud to people with villainous quirks regardless of personality. In a fair world, Toga would’ve gotten help and Bakugo (pre-development) wouldn’t have gotten past the gate of UA!
Man it bugs me that Hirikoshi is rushing the story I was hoping to see some more wholesome moments between Deku and his classmates. See them make a festival to calm down people. And see more of uraraka feelings torwards Deku. Not only just that but it would been great to see Deku spar with Bakugo. I wanted to see a rematch man
