It’s only natural. He still blames him for the down fall of his family. He blames him for both of his brothers suffering and his mothers suffering and how much pain he put them through. Even though his changed we are the only ones who have seen it his only seen the effort his tried to put in but in reality it’s something he should of seen right away before he became number 1. So in his eyes it’s only when he realized he got to his goal was when he realized he needed to do better but by that time it was a bit too late.
These last few chapters feel like sequel set up so i think we need to just calm tf down and let horikoshi cook

Todoroki Family Ending was amazing.
Spinner telling Shoji to do his best for heteromorphs like Shigaraki told Deku to do his best for the world was really nice. Another wonderful ending

spinner was loyal to shigaraki not because he could change the world, but because their backstories are a little bit the same and because shigaraki and spinner both faced verbal abuse growing up and were neglected by everyone because of their looks. spinner saw shigaraki as his best friend or even a brother. after earing this i feel bad for both spinner and shigaraki.

So a Naruto and Sasuke like friendship. Makes too much sense in my head now, we have an outcast due to how he was born. Spinner latched onto to Stains ideology. Then you have Shigaraki, who has family issues and groomed by a creepy old person who wants to take over his body.

Overhaul received the Dabi treatment; They were not saved, but with the difference that OVERHAULD WILL BE IN PRISON AND DABI IS ALREADY DEAD, CONFIRMED THAT HE IS HEADING TO HIS DEATH, Overhauld showed regret towards a person who was hurt. Only one will have to spend the rest of his days in prison, the other is already dying and dead, Shiggy and Kurogiri die quickly.
Now here it is worrying because it is a soft restart of spinenr when creating a book, it is the same as re destro did.
Correct. Meanwhile Shiggy and Toga had the same ending, both were mentally but not physically saved. They didn’t redeem but they made peace with their main enemy after doing one good deed and died peacefully and with dignity.

No matter what resolution the story has, I'd like to call to attention how much stress and pressure was placed on the writer. Healthy or sick, he got slapped around by the 'fanbase', and that's putting it mildly. The fact he's finishing the story in a way that makes him happy is something to respect, and it was finalized with him being of sound mind. I think the community invests too many hopes into how they wish the series to end, but they're quick to discard how the writer feels about the effects this story and the cult it's created (and I mean that in a general sense of 'fans versus cult', 'appreciation versus obsession'). I think the best course of action is to accept whichever way the story goes, and since we still have some unpublished material left to go, it's possible many questions will be answered and the rest can be left to an epilogue or separate series. The general sense I get from the author is that he truly loves his work despite the hardships he's gone through and he wants to give a satisfying conclusion, and so I encourage folks to be patient and wait to see what's in store.
I agree with you entirely however, the argument can also be made their wouldn't be a series without the fans buying the manga, the merch, the anime boxsets, etc.
The one thing all authors and mangaka's should do, Is put the fans straight when they are wiling: the problem is the amount of brain rot building up in the darker side of the fanbase from what I heard anyway.

Allegedly he’s gotten death threats from shippers and plot people alike. And his health deteriorated from the stress of being a mangaka and death threats. To me these last few chapters are reading like they’re trying to give sympathy to the villians, who are literally mass murders? Who cares if Shigaraki liked video games, he killed countless people and was trying to literally destroy the world up until his last breath.

@@jahworst the reason doesn’t change the action, sure you can understand how they got there, but they were killing plenty of innocent people who had nothing to do with their suffering. They put their pain on a pedestal and it turned them from people who were hurt, into people who thought hurting others was a good thing

This chapter is literally Chisaki's worst nightmare come true:
1. Not only was he unable to get Hassaikai back to their glory days, but worst, the organization is over.
2. He's doomed to apologize to Eri forever and live in regret, while Eri will eventually forget about him
3. And worst of all, his "Pops", the one person he cares for, makes it his mission to keep haunting Chisaki about his actions until the day he dies.
He went from this Big Bad who had us on the edge of our seats to a pathetic, broken shell of a man. I don't recall EVER seeing a villain fall this hard and shrivel to nothingness. I'd hate to be Chisaki right now.

Well deserved and I love it for that, but I feel like it’s hardly a fate that should be exclusive to him. A lot of the league got off easy for their atrocities; especially shigaraki who got to die with a smile on his face and kind of won.

1. The Hassaikai falling stings for Overhaul because he belived that it would smooth things over with the boss.
2. Overhaul doesent regrett what he did to Eri so him now feeling guilt probably won't happen at least not about this hell he bearly even thinks about her at all so this point is basically bs.
3. The boss not forgiving him is probably the only thing that really hurts but since again he only ever regretted putting him in a coma all the other stuff won't even haunt him and hell just having the boss with him even if it is to chastise him is probably a win for him.
In other news, Izuku will visit a criminal in prison who should be on death row and the yakuza boss will visit the adoptive son who traumatized his biological granddaughter and put himself in a coma before Izuku’s dad ever visited his own son in the hospital
It's hard to accept other's opinions sometimes, but I personally enjoyed every bit of the series and whatever the conclusion brings, I'll be ready. ❤😢

No matter what, some people are not going to be happy with the ending of My Hero Academia. I am hoping that the last three chapters are going to be longer than normal to give some more time to finish out the series.
Are you sure that those complaining fans are really fans or actually the haters? I have yet to see some big whining from the fanbase. Most actually liked it, coming from someone who is involved in multiple MHA groups.
One look at the comments here and you'll see that the haters are just sheeps who havent even finished watching the first season.

I loved the ending
I think it's mostly bakugou fans since they are still salty about bakugou being a corpse for 41 chapters in the final arc.

I trust that Horikoshi knows what he’s doing and that he will answer our questions in the time left.
Judging from how long the manga has been going on + the number of threats he’s allegedly gotten, hes probably not gonna care from what I hear he’s done with MHA he’s giving himself a ending he wants.

I wasn't all that satisfied by this chapter, tbh. I think it's mostly because I don't care for Spinner as a character, nor his relationship to Shigaraki. I thought the Overhaul portion was nice, but I don't really care for him either. At this point, I mostly want to know if IzuOcha will be a thing or not, especially if there are only 3 chapters left.
Poor Todoroki and Bakugo have to deal with them fans, but i can't blame them. And Mineta is being a green eyed monster as usual

The ending of this series will not be a satisfying one no matter how many more chapters we get to reach a conclusion. At the end of the day the series is ending, the author is going to say what he wants to say with what little he has left, and in the end all we can do is draw our own conclusions for what happens next.
As the saying goes, every villain is the hero of their own story. Tomura Shigaraki was no different. To most of those civilians and "heroes," he was a monster that needed to be destroyed, but to the people left behind by society, he was the hero that would tear down the corrupt establishment. Here's to hoping people actually read the book whenever it's published. Shigaraki deserves a strong legacy.
I feel like a big part of the backlash is a problem with greater culture and people's mindsets rather than with the narrative of MHA itself... In Japan, being ostracized from society is a lot more in-your-face than in most places in the West, so it's a *much* bigger cultural stigma there. However, the issue with the "abandoned by society" idea and trope really comes down to whether or not the reader is willing to accept the idea of "personal responsibility" in that context (that it's not society's responsibility to help you fit in).
It's your responsibility to find your place in the world, not the world's responsibility to bend to your needs and desires. It hits close to home for a lot of people who feel powerless in whatever their situation is, which is why they identify with the villains of this story and why there's seemingly so much backlash to the closing message.
Is there any limit to the evil a person can commit in your eyes? Your POV is literally horrifying. He killed hundreds of people if not thousands, displaced millions and caused billions of property destruction. He was evil, period. WTF is wrong with you?
His backstory was sad yea, but he's still a mass murdering monster that just wanted to destroy the world, his legacy should not be a good or strong one

@@aviumstrepitus5158 But he didn't just want to destroy the world, he wanted to destroy the 'perfect image' of hero society which is just as flawed as he always said it was. Technically he was aiming to achieve something that really needed to be changed but he was going about it in all the wrong ways.
He was mostly groomed to believe by AFO that destruction of the world was his ultimate goal since it was pretty much what AFO wanted himself, when really Shigaraki should've pointed his anger and desire to destroy towards him all along.

Todoroki Family’s epilogue is finished while Lady Nagant decides to stay in prison, Hawks becomes the president of Hero Safety and Gentle and La Brava is released from prison and now get to be happy together.
Follow by Spinner’s closure with Deku talk about Shigaraki’s death while Overhaul is back in prison and he loses everything his boss and Eri but his boss will keep scolding him until he’s dead and perhaps Overhaul might get the execution for what he deserves.
All we need now is Uraraka’s closure about what happened to Toga is she dead or alive and will Deku and Uraraka confess their feelings and will Deku finally reunite with his dad but next chapter will be focusing on Class 2A meeting new 1st years students so maybe Uraraka’s closure, Deku and Uraraka’s confessing and Deku’s dad will probably happen on between 2 final chapters.
Also we need Dr Garaki’s closure too whether he gets the execution or not due to fact he’s responsible for the Nomus and reviving AFO and how Mr Compress, Geten, Re Destro and Trumpet learn about Shigaraki’s death and same with Dabi and Toga’s death too when Spinner and Skeptic tells them while they get locked up at prison.
I think the next chapter will be all about the villains and their closure, considering we will definitely see Toga and Uraraka in the next chapter

It would objectively be in the government's best interest to keep Garaki alive. My guy has basically descovered resurrection with the nomu technology

He played a waayyy bigger role than 3 quarters of class 1A and as usual he's getting little to no recognition! The Dude copied warp gate to separate the villians! He doesn't do that game over! He shut down shigiraki's quirks for the entirety of the sky coffin fight! Andunlike Deku he literally did it with a smile ( albeit a borderline sociopathic one but a smile nonetheless). Of the student heroes go one by one and ask yourself if this student went down I'd victory still possible in any way. Deku no, Bakugo no, Shoto no, ayoma (of all people) Maybe maybe not, monoma no. May be 1 or 2 more but the rest ...mehh

I mean honestly the dude tried to destroy the entire world. I get that he wants to save everyone but there are certain people who can’t be saved(and yeah I know deep down Shigaraki wants to be saved but he also continued to destroy everything anyway so Deku really shouldn’t have even tried as it very well could have led to the destruction of the world).

I think ppl need to be patient smh… Hori had a lot of characters, this wasn’t just a show focusing on Deku, but on everyone in a way. They’re all getting the resolutions to their story.
Ochako is Deku’s love interest, but she also had her own character foil (Toga) and is still affected by her (probable) death. She’s one of the MAIN main characters, so obviously they’re gonna spend the last chapters going over that. Personally? Ya girls hoping for Ochako and Deku to kiss😌

Bump it I’ll say it I don’t hate what horikoshi trying to do with the heteormorph plotline cuz it could’ve tied into stain very well and actually show real grievance that the villains were talking about to a higher degree but the there’s 2 problems with this it comes in way too late and the characters who would’ve main players are very one note until then like I like this idea it can work but it comes way too late and spinner & shoji are in the background for 90% of the series
It’s my new headcanon spinner will wear the same mask as horikoshi when he writes that manga😅
People are taking all of this as a wrap up is the problem, theese whole final chapters are fuckin build up and people should see it a mile away, in a few weeks to a month there's a high chance a sequel is announced

Some of these comments make me think that MHA haters are getting worse than the MHA fandom.
The chapter is regular, but society has not changed, I know that everyone has different opinions and are part of the problem, but it is not just empathy to change. For Spinner, he was very wasted in the entire work, but now all that remains is to capture his dead friends in memory, in a book, which would be an open ending.
I caught an internet article about an interview Horokoshi had recently asking him about future plans for MHA and he was quoted saying he might make a sequel, featuring aliens invading Earth to make it apart of their empire. If he does go through with it then any unresolved plots would probably be taken care of then. Comment if you think he should and if so, how would you feel if he did do an alien invasion story for it?

@@greengem9132 The aliens kind of make sense to me. I mean the series has a bunch of references to Star Wars and aliens show up a lot in comics. There are even alien superheroes. Plus there’s a chance that we could learn more about the origin of Quirks. Maybe even have them be some kind of cosmic evolution or something. But that’s just my own thoughts.

Seems like everytime a big series ends you always hear the same unfounded words. Because of this or because of that the series is ruined personally I'm still enjoying every minute of the story.

@@davidgallardo2213 Mr Compress is locked up at prison along with Geten, Re Destro and Trumpet and we should get Dr Garaki’s closure like he’ll cry for the deaths of Shigaraki, AFO, Kurogiri and all Nomus and cops might put him on the execution and make him say his final words and do like how Dr Gerald’s execution went through on Sonic Adventure 2
The principal or a higher up should address Quirk singularity theory. It’s odd it’s brought up so often but preventative/regulatory steps are never discussed.
Fame-based heroing should be addressed. We’re just left to assume Shigarki scared everyone to act correctly despite society and heroes not even knowing how Stain/Shigaraki became so influential. Or why they were created in the first place.

Honestly i had wished they showed why dabi became a psycho, remember he was in a coma for a few years and he woke up, still saw his family getting abused and went into hiding for years! Why did he became so scarred, how did he burn his skin over the course of those years?

When his life goals was to show his father that he was powerful, he chose to kill too many people along the way, when he could've showed his strength by not killing but taking down heros.
Stain wanted to get rid of false heros and dabi believe in that, so he could've done what stain was doing and want to take down the biggest false hero endeavor by showing the public what endeavor did to his own family and showing him that he was the strongest, with the public maybe understanding the league and what they stand for.

I agree. I've learned to accept that not all stories stay great. Most hard-hitting anime fall off later into their lifespan anyway. It takes a lot to make me hate a series. The last time I became genuinely pissed at a ending or story was The Promised Neverland season 2.

As a Bleach manga reader who had to go through such a rushed ending it left a bad taste in my mouth (luckily we've got the anime coming in clutch to fix that), I'm feeling MHA is heading towards the same disgraceful end. Too many questions left unanswered. Unless we get the last 3 chapters to be freaking 40 pages long or something, I believe we'll be left out to dry with many of our questions. It could also be worst and just rush through all of the things and not get satisfying explanations, whatever the case is, it doesn't look to me that we'll have the answers, regardless of needing, wanting or deserving them.

The Todoroki storyline has been effectively concluded and the scene with Spinner effectively concludes the League of Villains storyline. Really there’s only three relevant storylines left to conclude, Eri, Togu and Ochico and Deku’s as well as some characters rap up for the rest of the side characters. To be honest three chapters seems plenty for this.
I trust Horikoshi-sempai on what he’s doing with the story so far and leading up to the end so even I agreed that we should just let the man cook on what he has in store for us cuz this has just got all the potential sequel bait for a new version of my hero academia where we will see izuku and the others become sidekicks to other pros heroes.
I know MHA only has 3 chapters left but I don’t think the series is actually over. There may be a new series that is a continuation this story. Maybe there will be a part 2 and while that’s being written, we’ll finally can an anime adaptation of MHA Vigilantes.
For those who are gonna that MHA shouldn’t/won’t get a continuation keep in mind that Horikoshi has changed things before so anything can happen.

Shigaraki was the perfect antagonist/villain, enfasis in was, he was the perfect monster created by the hero society and the belief of "the heroes will do something" mentality, but noooooo, we need our generic AFO to be the final boss, the protagonist is Midoriya, not All Might, the final boss should have been Midoriya's antagonist, not All Might's

I don't completely agree with this response. Just because the quote in question may be overused, doesn't mean it has no meaning and that it's never a valid point when made. Also, consumers of a product should be able to provide criticism of said product. If Deku's father had turn out to be working for a secret International group of Heroes, his disguise as a Salariman enable him to do his true job. Deku's mother had mention her husband's quirk was an insignificant fire breathing quirk. If Deku's father was a hero, his quirk is going to be a powerful type of Fire Breathing as well as a type of Fire quirk which allows him to have two different powers. For Deku to complete his Hero's journey, he must know whom his father really is instead of a Salariman who places his career and job above his family. By Deku's fahter working overseas as well as sending money to his wife and son tells us that he is more likely a powerful fire based quirk hero who is in the disguise of a typical Japanese Salariman.
Given how the Japanese view Divorce as a sign of failure, Deku's mother and father are not divorce. Oddly Deku's does care for his wife and son despite working overseas as a Salariman for a Japanese Company.
I'm not sad that Deku will lose OFA (potentially), but what's really sad is that Deku and Bakugo just genuinely became best friends... accepted each other, improved each other through training and saved their greatest hero together through a culmination of that effort and personal growth in learning to accept themselves and each other. It seems like losing OFA will mean an ending to all of that, imo Bakugo cried because he must feel similar to what he did from All Might's final showing in Kamino. Ofc, its not his fault, but again the end of another hero. To have made all that progress and then suddenly they may have to go separate ways in the pursuit of their own path is pretty reminiscent of a lot of our childhood friendships, no? this manga will forever be a master work to me

It's possible that Horikoshi is setting up a sequel series that someone else could easily pick up while he himself can actually go work on other stories he actually wants to do. Think of it like Boruto where a new writer did the beginning of that series for a while until the author came back to write it.

Toga is dead. We get an entire chapter dedicated to her resolution and death... IF she is somehow alive, then obviously it needs that be shown. but if not, then we literally already got her conclusion and have no reason to think she's alive other than fiction sometimes bringing people back but within the story its not ambiguous ... we need one for uraraka yes, not toga.
