I ruined 2 sets of blinds till I found your video!!! The other levelor blind RUclips videos and even the actual company videos did not explain what you did. Thank you so much!!

This was a bit lengthy but was the most complete, the most clearly understandable of the several videos I watched. Thanks

Thank you for this vid. It is the 3rd or 4th I watched and even Levolor's vjdeo didn't show the piece at the bottom that slides out. That will make it SO much easier than stuffing the new length into the hole and trying to recap it on the bottom. Also, one of our blinds has about 40 inches to shorten. Your video showed how to shorten more than the 2 feet. So glad I watched yours through. Thanks again.

Thedirections say ?they can be shortened no more than 23 slats (24"). I too have to shorten a ton more. Did shortening 40 " cause any issues?

Your the only one I found who had the same blinds I have and that is the one with the track that slides off and on. Thanks for making this video. It helped 100%.

The center support bracket(s) are normally installed tight to the top of the window frame, the same as the end brackets as they are all the same thickness. This lifts the center of the blind up to match the end brackets. Otherwise your video was nicley complete.

Thanks so much! I love it. It may not matter, but you could edit out some of the string ladder cutting, as it is repetitive and makes the video longer. I only need to see one or two. However, some people may want to see the whole process - even the repetitive parts. So, you could just post the times of each section, so people know how far to skip ahead to save time.

It says on the instruction that you need to cut the horizontal cord, i am confused about it.. did you cut any cord from the blind? Thanks

I installed these around the same time as the recording. Found your video today while searching for a way to offer more center support. Our center support bracket was installed the same way as you show here, but after more than a year of usage, the blinds are starting to sag in center and sort of leaning/pulling forward. Have you had this same issue?

I've done all of that...BUT the bottom portion goes all the way down to the window sill, but as soon as I let it go it spring back up 3" - 4"..it just will stay down resting on the window sill.

I believe there is a tension screw on the right side underneath the top piece. I saw a mention of it on another video. Mine is hard to pull down and hard to push up.
My wife has me do it. But I intend to play with that tension screw to see if it helps any. She wants he old side strings back. :(

Good vid, but, on a 2 inch blind do not remove more than 12 slats for 24 inches...you may be alright at 15=30" but it could inch up on her over time 🙂

1st Class? Sorry, but no. Using a sharp knife to cut the box open with it lying on the bed? Stripping the heads out of the screws because your driver is too fat to get the proper angle? Using that sharp knife again to remove the buttons? I’m sure there’s more but I sopped watching at that point.
