Great instruction video!! I purchased the same blinds and was about to pay over $100 dollars to get them installed. I am so glad I came across your video. Now I can install them myself. Thank you for sharing.
I just installed my parents blinds, they lost the instructions, but thanks to your video, I was able to install it with ease, thanks to your video. I give it a thumbs 👍 up!
Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I just bought our first house and it diesnt have any blinds. We were able to install the first 3 today thanks to this video!
Great video - thank you for sharing! I'm gearing up to put cordless blinds throughout the house - this looks simple enough for me to do it myself. Home Depot, here I come!
Great video, also bought the same blinds as it turns out.... you saved me some time and frustration! Thank you so much! Getting ready to install them now, the included instruction manual/page (pictures) are..... barely adequate.... Mark in Michigan.
Thank you!! I moved out on my own the end of last year and have been trying to be fully independent (using RUclips videos to learn how to do apartment things). This was super helpful, thank you!
Thank You ! I got the whole package on better understanding the hang of working with the installation of my two window blinds. Your illustrations on how to do this job couldn't have been any clearer. Cheers!
Thank you sooooo much. I did all the hard work but didn’t know how to bring the “Easy as pie” blinds down. And you were the only one that showed me how. 😍
Thanks for the informative video! Ordered new blinds for the kitchen window as I accidentally broke it. I was stumped on the measurement as well. Couldn't figure out what size to get since my window is 58" x 35". I can't wait to install mine soon!
In the Walmart brand cordless blinds, there is a 1 inch safety tension pin (mine was grey in color) on top of the blind set. If you do not remove this pin, YOUR BLINDS WILL NOT GO UP AND DOWN. It’s in the instructions, but it’s easily possible to accidentally miss reading it while assembling this product. Stay blessed
Having a hard time installing my new blinds because my screws keep falling out. Tried putting the screw anchors in and they fall out as well. Looking at videos for help. I'm not pre drilling because I misplaced my drill bit for that. I'm not skilled in drilling or anything, and I don't know if I have the drill to high, if that's such a thing. I don't know!!!! Or is it just, bad window casings. I'm feeling lost and frustrated. What should be easy, is turning out a mess!!!! Please help if you can.
Thanks! Great video! What would you do for a 6ft (72in) wide window? Two 36in wide blinds? We currently just have curtains up but could use blinds as well.
You can get custom cut blinds. Sometimes they sag in the middle though so try to find some with a third bracket for the middle. Two blinds may look funny from the exterior view.
I have a question that the video does not discuss. On the inside of the bracket it has an RH and a LH, which I am assuming means that you put the RH on the right had side, and so forth. I did this and when I went to the left side, the big holes in the bracket were on the top. It's the only way it will work on that side. What am I doing wrong?
I just put mine up thanks to you! My only worry is I probably should have used screw anchors in what I think is dry wall. I hope this will hold. Mine are 52x64 (with 4 brackets). About 12 lbs. I did an inside mount and the valence is slightly too long. If I had put the brackets closer to the outer inside edge I probably could have avoided that. A little trim and it’ll be fine. Looks great over all! Thanks!
Kim dumaine If they really are going into drywall without a stud behind it I highly recommend you put some anchors in. Do it right the first time to avoid a disaster later.
Can you add the link where you go these ? I kept clicking it but it’s saying sorry no page available. What’s the brand and name of the blinds ? Please help
My box came in the mail and we hung them, without a problem. However, the 1-inch long "hoop" piece that your wand attaches to was already connected to the top of my wand! - WTH? I've been trying to screw it in to the top of the blind, attempted to push it in.....etc. Any ideas?
Anyway you can show how to position the end brackets properly when the blinds are a little bit shorter than the window frame? I've been looking all over the internet and there's not a tutorial video on how to do this.
The blinds shown here don’t have end brackets for mounting. They have clips that go on the top instead. For end bracket blinds, you just measure the opening, subtract the blind width and divide that by 2. That tells you how far in to measure on each end for the bracket. I suggest putting them 1/4 farther towards the frame than the measurement to make sure there is enough room.
It's my understanding that I need to attach the brackets for my inside blinds to the sides of the window frame rather than the top but the brackets that came with the blinds are top only. What can I do?
@@TightWadDIY I was told that the material at the top of the window was not as solid as the sides. I have since watched a number of videos where framing is constructed and it seems to me that no matter what the material is above the frame, the frame should hold the weight. Is that right?
@@cathyperry6729 I obviously can’t make any guarantees but there should be a frame made from 2x4s and then faced with a 3/4” board. I don’t see any reason you wouldn’t be able to hang the blinds from the top.
Yup, I knew all that, my instructions don't tell me how to release the tension on the blind. It is locked in shipping position so they won't do my any good until I can figure that out.
PERFECT PRESENTATION.THANK YOU SO MUCDH MY FRIEND.GOD BLESS.YOU JUST LIGHTENED MY LIFE WHEN I WAS STUCK ON HOW TO INSTALL EXACTLY THE SAME KIND OF BLIND.
Could you do a video simply explaining it as if you had windows made that way? You did the explaining of the alternate installation and stopped when it came time to actually install them...
This is how tutorials like this should be done, no bs or fluff, straight to the point, accurate and lean. Superb!
Thank you!

A video on shortening this type of blind - I just purchased several of these from Home Depot - would be really useful. Thanks so much for the video!
Yes great video but a follow up on how to shorten this specific model of blind would be very helpful.
Thank you sooooo much. I did all the hard work but didn’t know how to bring the “Easy as pie” blinds down.

Thanks for the video. So the mounting brackets could be installed either to the side or to the top of the window, right?
Depends on the model you purchased. Most have the option of side or top mount though.
Straight to the point. Thanks
You are welcome. I’m glad you liked the format. Please consider subscribing.
Do I NEED to put in the long screws as well? Would I be just fine just drilling in the short screws (in the back)?
You won’t know until it falls! Haha.

Sorry I really don’t remember that part! Does it not just snap in?
Is there a model number on the box? Thanks for this video!
Sorry. I don’t have the boxes anymore.
incredibly helpful and informative!

I was wondering how to remove these blinds so I can spray them with the hose rather than going slat by slat. Thanks
The top part would just unclip. It will take a little force but shouldn’t be hard.
Excellent video, helped me a lot thanks buddy!
Great! I hope yours went up effortlessly!
Great video, thanks a lot!
Glad you liked it!
How do you set the brackets for outside window installation? 😢
It really depends on which model you bought.
I have those blinds. I can let them up, but they won’t pull down. Am I doing something incorrectly?
You can’t reach up and pull them down?
Can these blinds be installed to an inside door without a in set?
They should.
Thank you
My pleasure!
If I wanted to do the side brackets instead that you just slide the blinds in, how big are those brackets I need to get?
I’m sorry I don’t know where you would order those from.
I want to do the inside mount, however the inside depth of the frame is only 1 1/2 inches. Would this work ?
How do you release the blinds to stretch down in length?
You just pull down on the bottom piece. Push them up to make them fold back up. I don’t even know how it works! 😂😂
It's my understanding that I need to attach the brackets for my inside blinds to the sides of the window frame rather than the top but the brackets that came with the blinds are top only. What can I do?
