- 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit added to the fleet. Most of the lights Feniex are from Covertlights.com. The tag brackets and mirrors are from HG2 Emergency Lighting. Third brake light from Sequenced. Complete install by Seen and Heard Electronics.
My current light package. Still waiting on some replacement for faulty or damaged equipment.
Important notes as I mentioned in the video:
1. There is such a thing as too much light especially when running white. I have multiple settings that flash less of the lights and my lights are dual color but haven't been properly programmed yet.
2. Randomized patterns are much more likely to hypnotize people into crashing directly into you. Studies show a simple back and forth (wig wag) pattern is much better. Again, I'm waiting for my pattern button to be programmed so I can change it.
3. Some of our cars are operated by off duty PD for off duty jobs because they don't have a department take home car. Some of us work for private agencies owned by police officers. Most of us are not police, don't not claim to be police, and do not want to be police.
4. We all do a diversity of work in the private sector that different light settings are used depending on the job.
5. All equipment used was verified as 100% legal before install. Always check your state laws for legality or any permits/license requirements.
6. Even if your light package is legal you can still be cited or arrested for using them improperly or outside of the legal purpose intended. Speeding without lights is speeding. Weaving through traffic can be reckless driving. Running red lights or stop signs is failure to follow traffic device. Doing any of the above with lights on can be felony impersonation of a police officer.
that is the cleanest charger ive ever seen, i love the demon with the hat on top emblem
Beautiful setup Bro! I run amber and whites in my Honda Pilot. I used speedtech lights. My setup is nowhere near the level of yours but it gets the job done when I’m stopped helping at accidents. Well done buddy.
Thanks! Speedtech has always worried me. I know a couple guys that swear by it and I know a few guys that had electrical fires due to thin gage wires aparently.
@@seanchristianii3206same here. In the upfitting community they are referred to as shit tech lights. Also speed turtle and zflash are bcm fryers.
@Dalton Schrader damn! Glad I stayed away from speed turtle. People always tell me to check it out.
Thank You for that info on hypnotic lights patterns . Good to know
No prob. I do my best to save people the troubles I ran into or learned too late
I like this man vary nice setup I enjoyed this video and I'm going to subscribe to your channel
Thank you! Unfortunately the Dodge dealership messed up this one and its totalled. We have a new one with a brand new Feniex Quantum light package being installed this week. Video soon
@seanchristianii3206 I'm looking forward to see it bro.
Drop another video like this make a ig for the pursuit 😍😍😍
Hey bro which wires did you tap the back taillights up to which wires? I hooked them to the left is white with grey stripe and the right is white with the orange stripe but there not in sequence like yours. Which wires did you tap into for the back tail lights
Install was done by Seen and Heard Electronics. And we used a CLDG flasher from Covertlights.com
Ty
Oh yea love it
It's an all wheel drive v8 5.7 hemi pursuit love how it looks going to deck it out like yours. That's how I want mine to look
Hey. This is my 3rd one and most of the guys in our chapter of Retired Crusers Club run them. No major electrical issues in mine or in the others that I know of. My last one had some minor electrical issues but that's because the department that had it aparently cut things they shouldn't have during either upfitting or decommissioning. Whenever you look at a retired police car see if you can have mechanic look it over 1st and also check the idle hrs not just the mileage.
What state are you in?
I'm in California
@Silver Madero gotcha. I don't think we have a chapter out there. There are a couple other fb pages though for retired charger pursuit owners. Check it out. Also when you look at retired pursuits ask what department it came from. I tend to avoid state patrol cars because they abuse the hell out of them. Sheriff's cars from departments that aren't full service or cars from small cities are probably the least abused in my opinion.
Hey Sean just got my Dodge charger pursuit back from the mechanic shop looks like they did some fixing in the harness wiring of the vehicle and the old mechanic shop I took it to never programmed the vehicle after installing transmission and traction control module now it's all software updated and is driving smoothly. Took it to a better mechanic shop with advanced technicians couldn't be happier! Love this car now I'm working on decking it out like yours needs center console and for my laptop mount
Hey Sean I have a 2017 Dodge charger v8 all wheel drive hemi do these vehicles have allot of electrical issues my car looks like yours but I have not been able to enjoy it much on decking it out because has electronic stability control issue that keeps popping up on my dash screen and disables my all wheel drive. It's currently at the mechanic shop told me it's undergoing through inspection to figure out what the problem is. My stepmom said I should get rid of this car but honestly I really love cop cars and want to give my 2017 Dodge charger vehicle a chance to be fixed. I've replaced the module right now told me it's undergoing programming to see if that solves the issue with my car.if that doesn't work next will be the TCM module
Where did you get the pursuit badges from?
dodgepursuit.com/
Hello, what is the percentage of polarization that the patrol has???
I just ordered speed tech lights the raptor x with take down lights I wonder if I can make the take downs flash sone how I really like the white flashing lights and I ordered all amber tho because I didn’t like amber and white but know I’m wanting all white flashing
White flashing to the rear is frowned upon because it's more likely to cause an accident but if you're on private property you're good. That's why all mine are amber/white. I don't trust speedtech and generally with those cheaper bars the takedown are dedicated flood lights and can't flash as far as I know but I could be wrong. That's why I get lights that have full flash and full flood.
Do another video I want to see your updates on the dodge chargers. I need headlamps to be led on mine and needs paint job and door panels are warped. Man this car has costed me alot of money. And gas too. U need to do an inside your video would be great to watch. Still working on my 2017 dodge charger pursuit it's a project though
I can do an interior video in the next week or so. My upset went ghost and hasn't come back to properly program the lights yet.
Out in MD looking to get an AWD v8 5.7 Hemi! Any recommendations? What should I watch out for?
Common question. I tried to cover all that in a recent video. And FYI I buy all of mine from Chicago Motors. Also check out asiamotorsinc.. Here's the video though. Hope it helps.

I want the traffic advisor for the back you ever had any issues with Leo’s for having any light are just the ta it’s the only light I want for mine
The TA is a function of a full light bar. We only need a permit to use on dot property. Amber Permit is $2 and easy to get from DPS here. No permit needed on private property in our state. Only issue I ever had was PD not knowing the law and telling me I need a permit to have them even if they're off.
I’m curious where to find the study you quote about random versus alternate flash patterns.
I'll see if I can get it and get back to you. A friend of mine who was with Homeland Security and ran a private agency based in NY was explaining it to me. I'll see if I can get a reference.
" The research showed that drivers view current vehicle-mounted warning lights as highly visible, attention-getting, and effective at conveying the message caution/alert. However, intense lights can cause discomfort glare and multiple light sets on individual vehicles, or multiple vehicles at a location, can be distracting, annoying, or anxiety-inducing. Complex visual scenes can confuse drivers and take longer to process cognitively, leading to slower reaction times."

There are several studies and it's alot to read though to find that exact line but here's one that's relevant.
Thanks for the link. Your comment refers to stationary vehicles. The random flash patterns tend to draw more attention when the vehicle is in motion.
What is the brand of lights and model
Where did you get the glowing orange k-9 sticker on the back window
It's Hi-Vis. Got it on Amazon
Comes in different colors. I used silver on the silver car and red on the grey car. www.amazon.com/StickerDad-Caution-Windows-Bumpers-Reflective/dp/B06XMY8SVS/ref=sxts_rp_s_a_sp_1_0?content-id=amzn1.sym.e1d0fd65-dbff-454d-9e35-926f4c285911%3Aamzn1.sym.e1d0fd65-dbff-454d-9e35-926f4c285911&crid=3RJ0AHISZRK67&cv_ct_cx=caution+k9+decals+for+vehicles&keywords=caution+k9+decals+for+vehicles&pd_rd_i=B06XMY8SVS&pd_rd_r=cf18350d-0ba6-4fac-9b17-b93601862f23&pd_rd_w=E9NlT&pd_rd_wg=NJU6p&pf_rd_p=e1d0fd65-dbff-454d-9e35-926f4c285911&pf_rd_r=11A69DN2QMJ7E3Z7AX6W&psc=1&qid=1667690784&sprefix=caution+k9%2Caps%2C169&sr=1-1-3a65484d-1c95-4bed-b564-9469fdeef107
COPPER jkjkjk i had to, its Nice, way cool
Both of my DRLs on my charger pursuit are out . How can I tell if it’s a ballast issue , headlight assembly issue or a wiring issue ?
I couldn't tell you. When it comes to wiring I always have my upfitter deal with it. Did you already check the settings in the dark and make sure they're not just manually disabled?
@@seanchristianii3206 how can I check the settings ?
@@Vaffanculo313 go through the menu in the screen. I think it was in the center screen but I don't remember off the top of my head.
@@seanchristianii3206 ok thanks I will try it . I didn’t even think of that btw are your headlights HID from a civilian charger ?
@@Vaffanculo313 factory bulbs from the pursuit. Aftermarket assembly was bought on Amazon for like $500-$600 for the pair. I didn't like the bleached cloudy look of the original housing.
Are those feniex quads or what lights are those
The bars a feniex fusion dual. The quad didn't exist yet when I bought em
This is amazing!!! About how much did this cost to Install including the products and the labor and parts?
Hard to say because most of it was bought in 2016 for my 2012 before inflation and I had it installed in parts over a few months. At the top it was $4700 in lights including the side runners not shown here and the controller. The push bumper was like $600 for my 12 but when I got this 15 the push bumper was over $800. It was about $2,000 in labor having everything reinstalled onto this car including lights, bumper, dash cam, center console, power inverter, and various other things. Tint was $720 for the top quality tint all the way around compared to the $360 I spent on the '12 back in 2016. Tint quality matters for heat dissipation and clarity. This is 15% on the sides and 35% on the front windshield and the 15% is much easier to see out of than the 20% I had on the last car.
Whats the brand and model of the lights
Feniex fusion dual color bars, feniex recessed mount lights in the body, HG2 mirrors and tag brackets, feniex surface mount in the grill.
is this a package i can buy with the phone app?
It's Feniex brand name. They don't make the Bluetooth module anymore and the app isn't in the store anymore. I still had the module from my other car and had to flash the app from my old phone.
Where did you get the pursuit badging?
dodgepursuit.com/
@@seanchristianii3206 did you put the front pursuit where the original dodge emblem was or on the grill ?
@@amartamberou the pursuit model doesn't come with any dodge grill badging of any kind. We added the aftermarket pursuit badges.
@@seanchristianii3206 yes I got the same set of badges from dodgepursuit and I got the same charger pursuit but in white . I think you must have mind understood my question but no worries ,I found it on the video at 8:29 . Thank you man
@@amartamberou yea make sure you use the screws that come with it
Are you Interested in modifying a car and selling it? I need basically the exact setup for using it as a semi truck escort vehicle
So I'm clear, you need the same set up on a charger to be used for escorting oversized trucks?
@Sean Christian II Everything but the pursuit badge, and the color of the lights would be white and Orange,. But otherwise everything would be the same
@theshadowking9626 my full setup is white/amber. I use the amber when necessary on the main road. Most of the companies I work for are owned my law enforcement officers and they all prefer we run white so I have multiple settings programmed. I get the majority of my lights from covertlights.com and when I can't reach them I go to ultrabrightlightz. Building out the package isn't hard but you'll need about a $5k budget. I guessing because prices are up now with bidenflation and some things I have are discontinued because upgraded versions are out.
How much was this whole setup holly shi
Total light package was about $4500 with the full length side runners included which isn't shown because they were damaged in rhe prior vehicle in an accident when it was hit by a drunk driver.
Can you install lights for me, ill pay you
Our installation are all done by Seen and Heard Electronics
@@seanchristianii3206 hey got the same one how much was your built
@@garyrussell2208 with the hg2 side runners I had on the last car, the cost of the total package originally which controller was $4700ish
