Here is a secret that most people don’t know. With 10 charisma and at least 6 intelligence. Don’t talk to Tandi or Aradesh first. If you pass a luck check with the cook that is in the same building as Aradesh and tell her that her cooking is good. She’ll say thank you and tell everyone in town about you. Boosting your rep by 1 point. If you then talk to Aradesh and Tandi for the first time then you’ll get some additional dialogue because your reputation and charisma boosted the hidden reaction stat. Aradesh greets very warmly and Tandi gives you more information about Junktown and will also talk about the rumors of Deathclaws.
Charisma is often a dumpstat, but it has its uses if you really love dialogue.

@@ThinkOutsideOfTheIdiotBox Yeah it was interesting when I played with this build. Difficult, because my character sucked at combat, but dialogue was a lot more eye-opening. Characters like Killian Darkwater in Junktown, Butch at the Fargo Traders and Nicole in the Boneyard, gave a lot more information that they wouldn't divulge otherwise. Some of this dialogue can be attained with the "ask about" function thing, but you'd have to know exactly what word to ask.

The shady sands helped me figure out a lot of things.
Katrina gave me the "tutorial", i learned that my dialogue options mattered, i didn't have to pay Ian to be my companion because I persuaded him with my charisma, i found out that if you turned the radscorpion tails into antivenom they went from costing 10 caps to 50! Making venom takes time and I noticed that, which made me investigate the menus and I also found out about resting
This is what a game should be. Something you go through without much help. It's more fun and epiphanies feel amazing

you can end radscorpions quest without killing a single radscorpion. If you have an explosive material (could be in V15) you can look at the weak cavern wall right at the entrance. Place explosive there and you will seal the cave, completing the quest. Killing scorps is more xp friendly tho + you get the tails and ammo from the cave.

@@dominicmanester8125 It is so funny to me how you perceive the world. That kinda shows how well modern media works.
I already told you we have currently ten ongoing wars. This is the war economy. A lot of countries rely on this to sustain themselves. You profit from this as well as I do. There is at least one drone that fires a hell fire missile at some poor people that are in the wrong place at the wrong time. This happens at least once per week if not more considering we have so many armed conflicts right now. Someone has build this missile and someone bought it. Obviously. The world needs to be in a constant state of war or else our way of live would just collapse.
It's interesting to me how normalized killing has become. You don't even recognize this anymore. You are the perfect example how normalized war is. Because you don't don't perceive it as war anymore. You see it as "news that isn't as bad as it seems". Want to talk to the people on the receiving end of an A-10 Warthog canon? Its unironically called the hand of God. It's a wartool so devastating its hard to belive it actually exists. Again all this stuff is unreal to you because you are so disconnected to this but at the end of the day you personally need those wars and killing to take place. Because you and I profit from it.
We live in such a war driven time period and we reached a point were killing is perfected. Again most violent time period of all time and it can only go up from here. The two world wars don't even hold a candle to the wars of the last two decades. But you are so indoctrinated at this point its almost tragic.
Again play MGS4. You could learn a lot from that game.
