- The Hub has many secrets for us to find, some easy to find, others are a little harder, but rest assured that all 5 of these secrets can be found in The Hub. The only question I ask you, is how many of them did you already know? Leave a like if you learned something new, or a dislike, guilt free, if you learned nothing.

I personally wish they'd get Yuri Lowenthal so he could finally actually voice one of the protagonists. I've seen some stuff he's acted in, I think it'd work pretty well.

Technically Ron is an NPC in new vegas too, if you use the console command "enableplayercontrols" during the ending slideshow, you can walk around and see "Ron the narrator".
Ron perlman also is a npc in new vegas, but it only is used in the cutscenes.
I replayed Fallout 1 a few years ago and
actually managed to keep Dogmeat alive
to the end of the game....
I've managed to do that too, once. There was this one very special playthrough where not only all of my companions including dogmeat lived to the end, but I also made out of the Temple with at least some of the Followers alive. Never managed to repeat that since
dogmeat climbing over a fence💀
Dogmeat is a wonderful companion (until he stands in a doorway and refuses to move easily), but if he wasn't your partner...at least he gets spared from being electrified by an Enclqve security gate for the player.

Luckily he never blocked me. What I liked was accidental friend and he could knock down super mutants, this is pretty powerful for a dog

I remember buying this on sale and being “I won’t like this game is top down I wish it was like the other fallouts” I then put in 40 hours. The games companions felt just like the newer ones and the gameplay is actually fun.
I have 7 hours in this game and all of these hours were me fucking around not knowing wtf to do

I found Rex over powered, he even knocked down deathclaws.
As much as I hate the sound, it has become headcanon for me that whomsoever harms The Dog will get immediately flattened. Super mutants in 3, all gone after a single yelp. The Enclave inadvertently fries Dogmeat the First, and soon after are nearly erased from the West Coast. Even in the tabletop wargame, a buddy playing super mutants made the mistake of targeting Dogmeat. Needless to say I won that match.

Loxley is actually my favorite NPC in Fallout 1. Sure he is stereotipical and his name is literally describing his work, but it was really cool finding his Guild for the first time, wondering what it could be, only to talk and get him frustrated over how i got in here in the first place. Nice change of interaction, instead of mostly the same "good day good sir, can you help me" or "im evil, so get lost clown shoes" that many characters offer.
I found the alien blaster and then got killed by supermutant with mini gun

Cool stuff. Meybe you can make a fallout 1 guide. I had truble playing it. It was confusing to me.
Me too, I had to use a guide to get me started but it also spoiled a lot of things. Best to just get out there and explore, make multiple saves and have fun!

It's always a possibility, but I think it's more likely to happen with a new fallout game rather than the one's we already have 🤔
