Sadly, if they didn't at least try than anyone sitting there in handcuffs would have a good case that the officers/staff is giving him preferred treatment. At least they can say that they tried to handcuff him and have the camera footage to support if any issues arise.

I really wish I knew that guys name he came off very smart. One of the biggest things that impressed me is he made no BS excuses for what he did he knew it’s wrong and taking it like a man.
Except it isn’t wrong… guy doesn’t have arms or legs, grows and smokes pot to relieve his symptoms. The cops are the ones that are wrong, punishing someone who’s taken far too much punishment in this life already.

What bugged me about this is that it was orchestrated by the feds. FBI and DEA found this guy and called up Las Vegas PD. This wasn’t an issue that the police stumbled upon. This guy was minding his own business.

I don't smoke pot but I DO have disabilities. This kid is a double amputee midget. Life must be VERY hard for him. Face reality. Who is going to hire this kid for a living wage? Doing what? Is he eligible for full disability? What would that pay him at his age? 18K a year? That's not enough to survive. Yes, in Nevada, pot is illegal. It's NOT in MY state. Given his circumstances, maybe, just maybe, the cops could have looked the other way. I mean, its not like he was running a meth lab or anything.

He may have arm/hand prostheses. The cops would have likely removed those while it was in the open holding area because they *could* actually be used as a weapon, if not by himself, by others. It's really amazing what prostheticians and engineers can do with modern prosthetics. They've developed articulated hands that work similarly, not the same, as the hands of someone whole. They're working on knees and feet that work like those found on someone whole, too. Who knows?

A arms dealer was exchanged for someone who took cannabis into a foreign country illegally and now home no further charges yet the law is still arresting people for cannabis. That makes no sense. Being from the UK the Jay walking charge seems really to me
