Daniel Craig after was abysmal and made me really appreciate Pierce in hindsight. I do enjoy Moore, Connery and Dalton tho too they each added a different flavour and they were all beloved and the Greats but Pierce was the Bond in my childhood he's the best by default unfortunately hahaha

Imo, Brosnan has the charisma, charm, elegance and then coiluld turn on the cold persona when he needed to. craig had the physical strength and looked like he could damage. So Brosnan first and Craig second.
Being told he was "Too old" to continue to play Bond must have hurt. The same with Cavill and Superman, it's ridiculous really, some of the best performances have been done by "older" actors.
What is crazy is the fact that Sean Connery reprised his role as bond in the 80’s(Never Say Never Again, aka the most hated Bond movie), and was older than Pierce in his last Bond film quite a bit! I didn’t know that about Cavill though

Experience comes with age and the best stories are usually when they are more mature and wiser from those experiences, the young year one stories have been done to death, the audience knows who they are, so let's get to the meat and bones of the character and new stories no one has seen before.

Straightening his tie during the tank chase is superb. (I think he does it again when he briefly submerges Q's boat). Brosnan managed to combine the ruthlessness of Connery with the tongue in cheek of Moore. A great Bond.
Definitely enjoyed those moments myself. I personally felt that GoldenEye and The World is Not Enough were the films he performed the strongest during his tenure aa Bond.
While I still prefer Dalton, when Timothy stepped down, it was definitely his turn. And he definitely made the most of it, only to be undone by not the best writing and the directing just got worse. Lee Tamahori turned out to be a horrible choice for DAD.
The James Bond I grew up with in my childhood. I miss Brosnan as 007. He was wonderful and badass. Behind the scenes he is a nice guy. He was actually supposed to he Bond during the Dalton era but one of his TV shows delayed hin until GoldenEye came.

GoldenEye definitely holds a special place in my heart as it was the first Bond I ever saw, but Tomorrow Never Dies is easily my most fun and escape worthy Bond film to watch. Absolutely fun start to finish, add the soundtrack and its a blast.
If Pierce Brosnan had gotten to play Bond when he should have (in *_The Living Daylights_* ), there would never have been a long hiatus of 9 years. The reason he didn't get to was because the douche nozzles at NBC lied to him. They promised there would be a final season of _Remington Steele_ , but in reality they only had a mini-series of a handful of episodes. No one should trust an NBC network executive on any grounds.

Pierce Brosnan was great as Bond. It's very pity that he never got absolutely great Bond film. I'm just thinking that why they didn't made fifth film with Brosnan, maybe in 2004 or something. It would have been badass. Pierce Brosnan is absolutely charismatic & masculine man, a true gentleman! 🎩🎩

I love "Goldeneye", but "Tomorrow never Dies" Brosnan goes all full wrathful Bond and it is just awesome to watch.
The music goes bashing around as he is just dropping bodies and showing Elliot the.. "bigger picture" and where he sits in it.
GoldenEye definitely holds a special place in my heart as it was the first Bond I ever saw, but Tomorrow Never Dies is easily my most fun and escape worthy Bond film to watch.
Absolutely fun start to finish, add the soundtrack and its a blast.

If Pierce Brosnan had gotten to play Bond when he should have (in *_The Living Daylights_* ), there would never have been a long hiatus of 9 years. The reason he didn't get to was because the douche nozzles at NBC lied to him. They promised there would be a final season of _Remington Steele_ , but in reality they only had a mini-series of a handful of episodes. No one should trust an NBC network executive on any grounds.
