According to John Cleese, Wilson and Broccolli were planning on bringing back Llewelyn for at least four more films and Llewelyn himself stated he would happily continue playing Q "as long as the producers want [him] and the Almighty doesn't." His very sad and unfortunate death in a car accident prevented this. But personally, the final scene he has in The World is not Enough is THE perfect, most subtly beautiful send-off for the actor who was in this series for thirty years. It wasn't overplayed, yet every ounce of sentiment was there... 1) announce of retirement and impending successor 2) Bond asking him "you're not retiring anytime soon... are you?" - the pause gives an intimate layer to their relationship as if Bond is genuinely taken aback by this Q leaving, especially if Licence to Kill is considered wholly connected to the Brosnan era 3) the way Llewelyn says the last line is somewhat of a fatherly approach 4) "always have an escape plan" is a perfect way of making a farewell a classic Q gag as he descends through the lab doors, another brilliant use of mise-en-scene It's very bittersweet and beyond fitting for the great man that gave Bond his gadgets as well as being a great rival in the one-liners. RIP Sir Llewelyn, forever the definitive Q

I’m never certain whether Roger Moore interfering with the camera in Octopussy was written into the script, or if it was Roger trying to mess with Desmond. Roger admitted he often did things that messed with him, such as changing a cue-card held by a stage hand from a complicated word to ‘Bollocks’

My idea for a new 007 francise of movies is as follows: 007 has gotten the ability from q to travel forth and back in time with a timetravel machine.There he starts to stop the begining of Spectre.But Spectre has duplicated q's timetravel machine, so they goes further back in time,and changes lots of historical happenings,so that the present is quite different when 007 comes back to present time.007 must therefore stop Spectre before they manages to duplicate q's timemachine.
