There are many Pathan territory in India such as state of Rampur and state of Bhopal and the oldest state was Rohillakhand which was rule by najib Khan Yousufzai. Pathan have state in india at the time of Mughal empire. But due culture change they speak Urdu language in India.

There is difference between present claim and history of a particular place maybe rampur was a territory of Pathan in past but currently that area has different land owners you can’t say particular caste or community control all the territory. If you go by the history then entire Afghanistan Pakistan were part of Mauryan empire but today it is not the case. Harshvardhan controlled vast area of central Indian peninsula and Buddhist king Kanishka also ruled over Afghanistan but today you can’t find Buddhist territory in Afghanistan.

I completely agree with your point of view now there is no princely state there I was taking about history and I also know that Mauryan have ruled Afghanistan also there is a great Buddhist civilization near by swat region.
Moreover, there are stupas of Buddhist community are and very religious place for Buddhism also for Hinduism.
However, now history changes on both sides.

Podcasters already established the fact that there were Pathan or central Asian territories in India in past but they were talking in present context that pathans identity is not restricted to a particular territory in India they live all over India and but in Pakistan they are limited to norther Pakistan near Pashtun belt. Indian pathan can be a Marathi GUJARATI OR RAJASTHANI they assimilated with the population and culture of India but in Pakistan it appears from the podcast that they have pasto identity in Pakistan and are not considered Sindhi balochi or punjabi. I hope you understand the crux of the difference discussed in podcast.

There are so many bones of contention with this episode, apart from the total disgraced that so called Muhajirs proposed for the creation of Pakistan when in fact the populous of now territorial Pakistan had differing opinions. Muhajirs aren’t only a Urdu speaking community but the majority of Urdu speakers hijacked the electoral base.
