People only talk about the bridge divide(bridge kay is par or us par), but theres are alot more bubbles in the city. And people are living in their own bubble. A person living in NN, Fb area, Gulshan and Johar, (the biggest of bubbles) have no idea how life is inside Malir or Inside orangi, or baldia town, or Liyari, or saddar or Korangi. Each one has own perception of what city is, and what the reality is around them. (Hope you got my point, am not as eloquent with words like you guys)

Just a comment as a Urdu speaker. Theres a general problem of percpetion of ethnic rural Sindhis in Karachi. Because due to PPPs allocation of all govt jobs to illiterate rural Sindhis, its not that that Sindhis are more corrupt, but whenever we see corruption we see an indifferent Sindhi sitting about, so mentally the two are linked together. Its not that a Karachiite (Urdu speaking, Urban Sindhi, Urban Punjabi) wont be corrupt sitting on those chairs (maybe less corruption), but since they arent seen there at all, people think only rural Sindhis are corrupt. PPP has managed to brand Sindhis as corrupt and illiterate.

There is nothing called as Afghani language. It is either Pashto or Dari( Persian) spoken in Afghanistan.
Secondly the understanding needs to be mutual without any exposure to the education of a dominant language where you live.
Ofcourse all the natives of Pakistan can understand Urdu because it is the national language & widely used everywhere. Similarly person can understand other main languages like Punjabi, Sindhi etc in varying degrees as per personal exposure.
Some Sindhi can understand Saraiki but not all Saraikis do understand Sindhi. As much as Punjabi is concerned, I consider saraiki to be a dialect of Punjabi just like kutchi & memoni are dialect of Sindhi and Sylhetti is dialect of Bengali.
Remember many memons & kutchis consider themselves Gujarati awkwardly when almost all kutchi & memons of Gujarat do understand Gujarati where as no gujarati understands memoni or kutchi.
On the other hand every Memon & kutchi understand Sindhi & all Sindhis do understand kutchi & memoni without even ever meeting one another. This is fact none can deny.

Well story is missing a lot of other areas. After lyari it was Malir . Malir has lots of goath and they have used these goath as a shelter. Malir was strategically important because of industries and all the perk’s associated with working as a mafia over there

Bravo to Mr. Waqas & Thank you Mr. Ghias. Being a urdu speaker I always felt a bit of friction in Mr. Ghias views n perspectives , a bit of bitter taste for the muhajir community. But the way Waqas has steered n presented his perspective on all the stake holders of Karachi.. specially Layari, Muhajirs ..
Mr. Ghias... the poison that you must hv felt from Urdu speakers is not a home grown one, rather injected by the Establishment of 🇵🇰..orchestrated by muhajir politicians..
You must highlight n understand, that Urdu Speakers of Urban Sindh are the only community , legally been declared as separate one.. (4 soobey, 5 domicile)..no one else
Mr. Ghias, we the urdu speakers of urban sindh are right now the most muzloom, deprived n unfortunate community... (exclude leaders here)..There is no one to project our ordeal, plight n suffering which has increased n multiplied in the last 75 years of 🇵🇰..
Please do a program wd sumome sincere to the community not a puppet like mr. mustafa kamgal or leaders of mqm..
In last 3 decades 🇵🇰 media has only revolve around Punjabi generals, punjabi judges, punjabi actresses, punjabi journalist.. no one is there to Be our voice..
the only choice for educated ones is
    Migration Number-2..which i don't mind at all...
but what about ones who can't
Out of frustration, i hv come to the terms wd myself :
Koi bala aur bhi hogi Kerbala k baad..
Meri bala se, watan ho taar O nashaad
Buchey they kuch jo mere qafley k log 😭
Huey yaan her roaz burbaad, bai faryaad
Tha jinka orhna bichona Ranjeet o mahraaj
Hum chuley, rahein woh yaan abaaad o shadaab
Koi bala aur bhi hogi Kerbala k baaad 😭
Hum Muhajir they, rahain gai Nabi (PBUH) k naam k saath

Bro you are my favorite analysts and most critical speaker of Pakistan.
Previously I was fan of muzamil shah but now your thinking skill make me fan of your.
I'm also Urdu sepaking belongs to Hyderabad.
I just want to say reality is not the same that you are seeing there are certain issues that Muhajirs are facing.
Like you said that k Muhajirs to apni Urdu k Sath khi pr ghul mil sakhtey hey pr asa nhi hey bro.
Jub hum yha gov institutes ney jatey hey or Sindhi nhi bol patey to ajeeb hi hikarat bhari nazro sey dekha jata hey.
Mere acedmy ek sir meray samney Muhajirs ko nanga bhoka bol rhae they.
Mera ek dost Jo interior ka tha Muhajirs ko Gandi qoum bol rha tha.
I know that hr koi ek jeysa nhi hota pr interior mey bhout buri tareekey sey bacho ka brain wash Kya jata hey.
Once again I want to say that.
I know k ap bilkul racist nhi hey mey just ap ko ground reality Batana Cha rha tha.

9:07 Absolutely right. There was civilization here in Sindh much much before the British and Mughal empire. The Indus civilization which is according to some estimates older than the Pyramids in Egypt.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born in a town called Jhirk, which is close to Thatta.

Pakistan ke liye koi planning hi nahi ki gai thi. Humara constitution 1930 ke nehru report se bahut kuchh leta hai. 1935 mein jab bose congress president bane tabhi unhone nehru ki leadership mein ek planning commission banane ke orders diye. Indian ka apna banking system khada karne ke bhi koshish 1930s se ho rahi thi. Vp menon or sardar patel ne electoral rolls par kaam karna 1940s mein hi Shura Kar diya tha. Indian scientific community bhi institutions ke foundations rakh rahe thi. Toh post independence jo democracy or progress ke zaruri institutions the unpar kaam poorna swaraja ke declaration ke baad se Shura ho Gaya tha. Haan humne police, army aur railway jaise institutions inherit kiye par Pakistan ne bhi voh institutions inherit ki.
