How We Make Tile: Pugging clay

Making tiles is a mesmerizing experience. Using our terra cotta clay our extruder which we call Space Pig, it mixes and de-aires the clay in the barrel to make sure the clay is consistent and to get the bubbles out of the clay. A process called Pugging.

We use a squeegee to smooth the surface. It doesn't hurt the process. @@marioar4087
