Pilates For Back Pain | Upper & Lower Back Strength & Mobility Exercises

- Welcome to this Pilates For Back Pain routine today! You will work on some gentle strength and stretch exercises targeting the lower and upper back, to help you create stability through the shoulder girdle plus nicely open your vertebra.
This is a great routine to do on its own or at the end of another of your favourites!
(Remember to always consult your physiotherapist to address lingering pain.)
You Need:
Mat
Wall Space (we will use the wall as resistance for isometric exercises)

We just went on an outdoor walk. My back was feeling a little sore this morning, so taking it easy with this gentle Pilates routine. Now to grab a mindfulness session before further starting the morning. Thanks Vanessa 🧘🏻♀️❤️

Sore back and had to rest it to reduce inflammation, perfect workout to assist mobility and a great path to get back on track.....
Excellent Anastasia 👏 👏 👏 Really glad this is suitable for your back atm! Take it easy ok and build back slowly, letting the inflammation reduce 🙌💫 You could do this again every couple of days or each day for a while if it feels good 👍

i’ve been doing this routine every morning for two weeks and my sciatica has decreased immensely. i finally feel like i have the muscular support in my core and back to support my spine :) thank you!!

Did this after swimming today, and it helped me cool down as well as strengthen :)
