Captiva restaurant surrounded by sand after Hurricane Helene

Recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene has been a difficult journey for many. One Captiva restaurant, the Mucky Duck, was left almost unrecognizable, with piles of sand reaching the doors and windows of the establishment.

welp now it’s half destroyed and i’m hoping they can salvage all the badges, patches, stickers, license plates, and decorations from all over the country that have been collecting on the wall for years.
