New wow player here thanks for all the guides my boys are super competitive in the game and I’m popping up surprising them with Gold for the guild bank, mats for enchanting and getting my pre-raid bis keep on the sick content!
I am on gehenas too ... I also encounter lags and even crashes for some reason ... never had that problem in lich king ... and my internet is probably top 3 in Europe so I am sure its not the problem
Cata is when I stopped playing wow I played all of classic and tbc and wrath but I stopped playing back in og cata I played the first few weeks but the way that they basically force you to play all the Pve zones get rep for all the new zones. For me was just a hard pass I am a PvP player and being made to do all the Pve content was just a hard pass for me. And I played again this time and it's the same thing I just don't feel like doing it 😂
Look at your pre raid bis gear and look what items you need with vp. If you don’t really care about raiding just get whatever u want. I got to wait till next week for trinke

FUN FACT: You dont even need the gear in your bags. U can keep them in your bank and it will still count towards your Ilvl when queuing for heroics

the tol barad reminder addon is not shown for me on curseforge for cata classic, only for retail
Just copy the foulder into the Cata classic addons

I didn t get how to grind reputations. We get the tabard them farm dungeon ?
Friendly tabard with the faction you want and yes spam dungeons not sure its Heroic only. That's idea behind the tabard spamspamspamsapm
85 dungeons count in normal too, tolvir and halls of origination. Although it's a slightly reduced amount of rep on normal.

Btw you don’t need to do valor points heroic daily every day, you can do 7 in one day and be done for the week

Hate this game they take out honor vendor when I hit 85 gj blizz can’t get it right even the second time
you don't need to run a heroic every day for the rewards, its rewarded 7 times per week, not 1 time per day

Crazy how fast it is to get rep and gear in cata
The dungeon finder counts gear in your inventory so you don’t actually have to equip them to inflate your ilvl
And it's always been like this even in wotlk! :)
And the best part? If everyone in your group did this, then you are not going to be clearing the content :)
