I'm kinda more with Confucius version of the phrase, do not do to others what you do not what done to you. For example, you may really like if someone follows you around and slaps you everytime you say hello, but typically if you did that to someone else they'd be upset.
"Life's all about rejection".Lets face it we've all been rejected at one time or the other.
Multiple rejections for me 😂
not responding on a dating app shouldn't result in doxxing. i bet those girls do it on a regular basis themselves yet they find it righteous to put the guy on blast like that.
Yep, the people equating rejection with abuse are the ones that got "participation prizes" when they were kids. In life, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Actually, most times you lose, that is what makes winning so special.
This comment is where "ok boomer" comes from. We didn't buy those trophies ourselves, didn't ask for or even want them. Kinda sad that in 2022 there is still someone clinging to that pathetic talking point that does not in fact make millennials look bad, but instead makes the snowflake boomer parents look bad. I remember that time period, it was the parents yelling and screaming at coaches about how little Johnny was better than the other trash kids and deserved to be recognized. We hated it and now laugh at how soft that generation is.
@@RealSlowLike right?? Thank you.. This story was wack but it has nothing to do with the participation trophies we didn't ask for lol. I always felt insulted if I got one.
Love when he gets on his soap box. I don't do podcast but, Trevor. Trevor I'd listen to.
The rule I adhere to (and sometimes fail at) on the internet is to type as I would talk. I will only attack obvious monsters and terrible hot takes, so basically most of Tucker and his content.
And THIS is why I love Trevor ❤! Truth, generosity, and common sense spoken everyday 👏 👏
I think this video adresses this in the best way I've seen so far.
Social media is toxic af man. Reclaim your life and delete the app! haha.
You know something is wrong when Trevor is only speaking common sense and it feels refreshing.
The Reality Check the world needs now. Thanks Trevor 🎯
I do have to say that ghosting can be a particularly mean and cowardly form of rejection. At least have the galls to tell someone outright.
Ghosting and cheating is not a crime but doxixng and wanting harm on someone is a crime.
Rejecting someone isn't abuse but doxing someone sure is.
Life is about getting rejected. Thank you for your smart words.
And they say men can't handle rejection 🤷🏾♂️.
Agreed. Someone shouldn’t lose their job because they ghosted you.
I agree, this is so strange to me I am glad that every guy meet before my husband did not work because I ended with an amazing man the world has changed
This is not fair for him, now everything is messed up for him i bet and he's gonna remember this for the rest of his life. Poor Caleb
Probably some sociopath. Don’t know what all the pity is about.
@@sylviaplath8263 The real sociopaths were the women giving him death threats
Not on TikTok but as you tell it, I agree with you Trevor...it sounds like the girl behaved worse than what the guy did. C’mon people, be kind!
Real Talk Trevor. Applause for explaining it in terms that are easy to understand, and get behind.
Rejection is different than manipulations tactics just as much as love manufactured lies is different from honesty.
To the weak. Maybe? I cant get there because im emotionally mature enough to mind my own business.
I love when you just rift. Natural story teller.
Riff*
Please note that privacy and discretion seem to be a big joke to many people and it is very sad.
Could care less about Caleb, but this coverage and critique is on point.
I agree with this completely. Someone in Chicago tried to leverage this to go through a list of men in Chicago who have been bad to date, and I’m not okay with that. I do think people who are dating online should be more communicative and considerate, but dragging people publicly is plain nasty.
Rejection is healthy.
Ghosting is not.
Exactly
ghosting is equally as healthy
holding somebody accountable for rejection is not
@@bennypika4976 for me, ghosting implies dishonesty.
@@HoneyBadger80886 you clearly hadn't deal with manipulative people yet
they'll just waste your time cattle drive you to say it their way even if it's wrong
These women are Karen, they boast about adding guys to their list, but now that the player is being played by this guy, they are butthurt. Getting taste of their own medicine.
He should take legal action as he is getting deth threats and his location is exposed too. He will win this case, easy pay day. And teach such entitled trash some lessons.
What you said was so important and well phrased!! Thanks
I got ghosted by women from time to time never would I have done something like this
Thank you. People learn new terminology and start overusing it, watering it down for real situations those terms actually pertain to.
I've never been a fan of social media. I'd log onto my IG or FB once every 3-4 months for 15 minutes at a time. I don't have tiktok or any of the rest. I'd rather take a nap. What's wrong with thinking for yourself and not trust everything you see online. For all we know she had a crush and got rejected so she decided to get her revenge ("Do you know who I am? " type of mentality even though they only have 150 followers.).
Excellent!!
The world is burning and folks are going after bad dates!!
Not as many people are in therapy as you might think!
The problem is that many people go to therapy with the mindset that the therapist will fix all their problems and that many therapists are incompetent idiots who only have the intention to squeeze as much money as possible out of their clients.
@@hanshandkante5055 Perhaps.
Fortunately, I’ve had great therapists. And know there are some bad ones out there!!!
@@hanshandkante5055 true also therapy is not for everyone
Yes, exactly! Thank you for talking about this.
West Elm: Thanks for the free publicity Caleb. IKEA’s been a thorn to us
Only until the story of Ikea Lars goes viral.
Dope!
His candid conversation is refreshing.
He should do more ‘deep thoughts’, have the guest be prepared to talk about various social subjects and get down to the nuts and bolts of what makes things our society “tick”.
I call BS on that lady posting it "for fun and laughs" it gained traction then her pettiness was put in the spotlight but it ended up being a positive experience for her due to the righteous justice complex people have these days...
Agree with every word you say, Trevor. I’m a PC liberal but I still think you can call people out and be respectful and not ruin someone’s life all at the same time.
When facts don't matter reality is a rubber band.
Get Caleb on your show. Do an interview and let him share his side of the story. 😂
Maybe the guy just wants to be left alone.
Right on!!!
No. Just leave the dude alone
Love it so much Trevor, keep speaking the truth!
I find the world is a worse off with social media, cowards behind keyboards saying whatever they want, bullying and hatred. People irl have forgotten how to be human. Constant outrage and fury is exhausting.
I agree with you 100%! It seems like we’re moving into this realm of trying to control peoples feelings. They’re okay with it until it happens to them.
Thank you Trevor! for acknowledging the gray in the polarized black and white society we live in.
These woman are so entitled they think they’re victims for simply being rejected
When you pretend that someone is a villain, it feels justified to do whatever you want to them, but if it turns out they weren't as bad as you pretended they were, you're the vilain instead.
I’m with Trevor.
Thank you so much for this and I’m so glad you’re back!!!!
Those girls warned other ladies about a serial ghoster. Sisterhood before misterhood.
no, those girls are just bigot men who thought they were such hoot
No they wanted to harm him by doxxing and expecting someone will attack him.
emotional manipulation has become the most popular form of "social justice".
no one is ever supposed to say no to you, or have a different opinion than you do.
no one is allowed to be "mean" to you or make you feel "bad".
problem is, there are too many people, each with their own perspective and agenda, to make anyone's life conflict free, unless you totally isolate yourself from the world.
this is an extreme form of selfishness that shows no sign of ending any time soon. 😔
Trevor always makes me think about things from a different point of view.
Also. First. Never had first here...
Me, too.
I honestly appreciate him for a lot of reasons
@@jennifergridley8111 he's been great for the show. And the other correspondents are awesome.
I'm not surprised. Social media, love triangles, plus a guy named Caleb.
I literally screamed YES, when you mentioned Uyghurs. I hope and pray there is more coverage on this matter.
that almost sounds like cyber bullying :(
Wow the hypocrisy is astonishing 😂
wow this is really refreshing to hear from a major voice in the public
He ghosted someone then became a ghost
It’s always a pleasure watching Trevor.
“The ads are working! “ 😂😂
Sometimes ghosting can be from people dealing with trauma. Not everyone ghosting is doing it on purpose
Bruh don't go out seeking a relationship if you're facing trauma problems. You're just wasting someone else's time
Completely agree with you, Trevor!
Who is better?
1: Trevor Noah, the Comedian
2: Trevor Noah, the Philosopher
I'd call it a draw, both are briliiant
Trevor: I love this.
Personally I absolutely have not a clue, as to who, this literal story, has to be, but honestly, as a totality -- I get it.
Dude,I f *ckin get it.
And I thank u for having this conversation 🌟
Trevor, I love your! I really like your insights and drawn out explanations.
oooooh Trevor... thin ice buddy... props to you for calling out this societal BS, but still... 😬
Thank you Trevor
Thank you for addressing that unsolicited nudes are NEVER okay!
Wow. That was what mattered most to you out of everything he said.
@@odizza1688 Wow, that's a whopping great assumption about the commenters interests and motivation with, as far as I can tell, zero justification. Not everyone has to undertake a full exegesis on a 10 minute video.
@@odizza1688 true also there's still no proof of said nudes
@@johnmcgimpsey1825 full exegesis??? So ur one of those ppl, huh?? U like to hear yourself talk bc u THINK you're smart. 🤡...
Most ppl respond to what struck them most in the content if they watched it all the way through. Most ppl don't give a full synopsis on every aspect of a video. But considering that her take was related to the very last thing Trevor addressed, which wasn't even 30 seconds, its safe to assume she watched the entire video and then responded. She's literally the only person in the comments addressing nudes.. Meaning that somehow she listened to all of his commentary and chose to speak on the one thing that any decent human being understands n knows not to do.
So she either missed the bigger picture of what he was talking about or doesn't care about it that much.
What YOU did was assume no thought or logic was put into my statement. And well, you know what happens when you assume. Congratulations on achieving that.
I actually agree with every single thing Trevor said. I’m not writing a thesis where I have to cover each & every aspect of the content.
As a woman who deals with all types of harassment ALL the time, I chose to express my appreciation for the way he addressed that part.
Not every opinion has to be radical & one-sided. Chill.
This makes me miss the live audience. Bring it back please
Some people really misuse terms like love bombing and gaslighting.
I hope this let’s talk it out is a new series!
