- The Road to Bibao along the Northern Spanish Coast Line. The Camino Tour over we drove along the Coast via A Coruna , Foz and Llanes to catch the Brittany Ferries Boat home, via the Vets of course.

Having taken Brittany Ferries Portsmouth to St Malo in a pet friendly cabin.... very good btw and noting your comment re using the Tunnel, we wondered if you've tried the pet friendly lounge on the P&O Dover - Calais route?
We have and found it to be excellent!
Hi , we have heard it's good but we haven't used it. We tend to use the train from Dover in winter , otherwise this year we have taken the Hawich to Hook of Holland Ferry as its very convenient for us and has Pet Cabins . We tend to use cabins rather than lounges as we have a young and very exuberant Cocker Poo , lovely but slightly mad , so it helps to have her out of the way. Hi Martin, Spain has always had politically motivated graffiti. Ive just sub'd and need to catch up Watching your vlogs. We will be campervanning in Spain and Portugal late December & early January and spending Xmas over there. Dknt suppose you'd know if campsites over there will be open around this time? Love your photography.. a man after my own heart!
Hi thanks for subscribing and watching . In answer to your question it depends on location. The higher you up you go in Northern Spain the sites close over winter (Picos etc). There are plenty open in the lower areas of Portugal and lots in Spain . There are also lots of more motorhome/ campervan aires to which don't close . We have lots of videos from all over Spain and Portugal mainly in the winter if you're looking at specific areas . I would recommend booking for Christmas and New Year and 3 Kings Day on the 6th Jan , if you are wanting traditional sites. If we can help further let us know. Best wishes Helen and martin

Not your fault but their is so much more to A Coruña history battle of A Coruña 1809 where Sir John Moore died on the battlefield fighting the French, you’ve completely missed the Tower ie the lighthouse (Hercules) place is steeped in history that is still taught in Spanish schools today especially the battle and there is a tour to Sir John Moores tomb in the old town. It’s well worth more of a look around than this brief look. Love this coastline
It’s the oldest working lighthouse in the world and you can go up it

Good luck Look forward to seeing some more, it’s an incredible stretch of coastline and perfect for the dog too, also good for wild camping without a fine, Picos mountains worth a look too, I’m a bit jealous as waiting for second hip replacement but will be back travelling before long with any luck

loved following your trip. We must have just missed you in the sand storm in the Valencia Aire . We stoped there on our way back to Santander after seven weeks in Spain. We have just booked to go back to Spain and Portugal in October and November and plan to visit some of the places you visited.

The curry was oh so good Roger, we are back in Norfolk, now planning for the next trip but we have some great things planned in East Anglia for a couple of months so we are going to camp local , until our 90 day Euro restriction is up.
