Derren has a bag of hose pipe bits…now I understand why he looks at me shaking his head when I tell him to throw some away 🤣 Derren scanned your QR code on screen for the camping card…top tip as not thought of this. We love that flight app…hooked on it and loved Helen sharing her wonderful knowledge of helicopters 👍 What happened….you just arrived on Caloe and it stopped….cliff hanger and a half for us is that! Great vlog and really look forward to the next one 😍
You can't beat having a big back of bits 😁 . We thought about the QRD card as a lot of our viewers watch on the TV screen and can't access the info below too readily. H is a helicopter and aircraft nerd , 35 years ago when I met her I wanted to take her on a posh date , she just wanted to jump on the back of my motorbike and go to the cat and Fiddle near Macclesfield . I though it was strange until we got there , but she was watching the planes approaching Manchester Airport , happy as Larry , since that it has always been the same. Show her aircraft and I can do no wrong. The ending was deliberate, an attempt to create some intrigue, jury is out whether it worked , but you have try don't you. Thanks for watching best wishes H and M.
Thanks guys , you'll love it out here. Sunshine and value for money things are cheaper than in the UK generally better than being at home paying the heating bills 😂. Thanks for watching best wishes. H and M

Hi, very informative video. We're planning on using camping car parks next week on our way down to Malaga from Calais. Do you think we'll need to book at this time of year?
Hi Julian , good choice on Camping Car Parks , it's unlikely that you would need to book but if you download the app , it tells you in live time how many spaces are available on the Aire you are looking at. Are you staying at Area Malaga Beach ? . Great choice if you are we have been there twice this year a good spot. Thanks for watching our channel , Merry Christmas and safe travels Helen and Martin.
Hi you'll love Spain at Christmas , don't underestimate how busy sites can get , if you haven't booked anywhere i'd recommend it , especially if you want to be somewhere specific (and for Three Kings Day which is massive on the 6th Jan). I would recommend carrying a bag of adaptors , different sizes etc . Amazon sell them. The male to male connector we have been carrying about for over 10 years and that was the first time I have needed it in 20 countries but. have used the other adapters quite regularly. They sell on amazon too. Thanks for watching , we'll be back out in February we been wintering in Spain since 2017 it never disappoints. Best wishes Helen and Martin
Hi, firstly just wanted to say that we really enjoy watching your videos. We would very much like to spend a long vacation touring thro France & Spain (February -April) but as we have never motor homed in Europe would appreciate your advice on whether we should book the campsites in advance or is there sufficient availability to just turn up, many thanks Neil & Ginny
Hi Neil thanks for watching our video and your kind comments. In relation to your question this our philosophy on booking sites/aires based on wintering in Spain and Portugal since 2017. You will of course get different opinions but we book in the following circumstances. 1. Transiting through France we book Camping Car Parks Aires as this guarantees room to stay on the Aire as we don't want to drive around looking for somewhere to stay on long driving days. It also guarantees easy access to water etc , previously we have found water turned off on municipal aires and the sometimes poorly maintained chemical emptying points. We simply don't want the hassle on route. 2. All bank holidays we book, especially in Spain as the Spanish do like to camp in numbers on these days. Also for festivals e.g Las Fallas festival in Valencia. ( March - it's amazing btw) 3. If you want to guarantee a location that is high profile on a specific date. At other times we usually don't book or at least until the day before as it can be make the trip less flexible. A lot of the aires of course are not bookable and we use the Camper Contact App and the Search for Sites App. Additionally much of this depends on the type of stop overs you want and the facilities you require. Hope that helps - we have a FAQ's section on our website where I have collated all the questions we have been asked hoping it would be helpful for the likes of yourselves. The link is here vanwolfphotography.uk/latest-tour . I'll close if I may by reassuring you that motorhoming in Europe is far more relaxing than in the UK , the roads are quieter and the drivers in the main less aggressive and more law abiding as well being much more motorhome friendly . Hope you have a great time Helen and Martin.
