    Well you do seem to make the best use of your 90 days.
    Our plan is to do two 45 days trips in the shoulder months like May and September we were surprised in your search for winter sun video how busy the campsites was at that time of the year.
    Looking forward to your next video.

    Thank you so much for a wonderful vidblog. It seems that France is really geared up for motorhomes and as we have a caravan we hope that there are other sites available for us. Please stay as happy as you always seem. Looking forward to your next adventure. By the by, your video skills are excellent.

      Thanks for watching 👍 Laruns is a nice place, it’s on our list of places to go back too, in better weather for the walking.

    Hi again
    We do love watching your videos especially over breakfast we are planning similar trips and are wondering if you have any advice for the 90 day rule as you appear to spend a lot of time in Europe?
    Thanks again

      Thank you 👍 No way around the 90 day rule as far as I know, we use an online Schengen calculator to work out the dates - we are boarding a ferry Ouistreham to Portsmouth tomorrow with 2 days to spare of the 90 days - Thanks for watching 👍

    Hi Loving your videos. We were wondering where you get the access card for the French campsites?

    • @Travels_in_Campi
      @Travels_in_Campi  Месяц назад +1

      Hi, thanks for watching 👍🥂 we ordered the access card from "campingcarpark.com" takes just a few days to arrive, its €5 for the card and then you can add credit via the machine at the entrance to the sites or via the app or online, we add credit via the Camping-car Park App 👍

    We love your videos. We notice that you don't use bikes. How do you find the best sites for walking and using public transport on your trips. Thanks

    • @Travels_in_Campi
      @Travels_in_Campi  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi, thanks for watching 👍 we try and go for a campsite or parkup close to where we want go, be it a town or castle etc, (municipal sites and Camping Car Parks are good for that) and then we use Google maps to check on the location and using that we can then check on the walking distance or public transport - Bus and train times are usually pretty spot on - Apart from the fact that the world is probably a safer place without Sue on a bike 😄Campi doesn’t have the payload 🙁

      @Travels_in_Campi thanks for the explanation. Makes perfect sense. Lorraine came off her bike earlier this year so we are now working out, foot, tow a car or scooter neither of which appeal. We are back to France in a couple of weeks to finish what we started earlier this year 😀. Thanks for the videos, great background and nicely presented👍. I will put more effort into location research. 😊. Happy travels and we look forward to your next chapter

    Nice video. How was the road over the Col Du Portalet? I’ve always wanted to use that route but The Mrs hates treacherous mountain roads.

    Great video - we must visit the elephant sometime! A couple of questions if you don’t mind. You clearly use a lot of the camping-car network - I take it that because this trip was in March that you didn’t book ahead? Do you book in Summer? I note enviously that you were only home for 4 weeks and then off to Corsica (I note you’ve arrived). Do you use the MoHo much in this Country? Our trips to France tend to be limited to around 3.5 weeks for a number of reasons - I think we need to take a leaf out of your book and go more than once a year! You’ve become our favourite vloggers - keep it up👍

      Thanks for watching and thank you for the comment 👍 We do book ahead occasionally, some of the CC are always busy, Lion sur Mer for instance, so we would book that one ahead to make sure we could get in as we like that one as our last stop before the ferry. On this trip (Corsica) we booked ahead the same day at Sainte Suzanne, kept looking on the app (as we were driving south) and as soon as a pitch was available we booked it, just as well as some couldn’t get in that night (You can book the same day if a pitch is available, or from 72 hours to 6 months before, but not the day before) Yes we do use Campi in the UK, during that four weeks we got down to Seaview near Weymouth and Westbay for a week - and we will be camping in the Uk in the summer this year as we will have had our 90/180 allowance, another European trip in late September
