This is the kind of writing that SNL was missing for SO many years. This is the kind of laser point parody and tight ensemble performance that a truly diverse cast (and writers’ room!!) can deliver. I’m glad SNL is finally catching on.
And all it took was four cast members leaving (Pete, Aidy, Kyle, and Kate), another four getting fired (Chris, Melissa, Alex, and Aristotle), and one who came back, but left midseason (Cecily). SNL transition years are no joke.

And for corporate peeps, one day I hope everyone at whatever store or gas station they work at calls out, heads some place close by with a pair of binoculars, and watches things burn as corporate employees learn what business is REALLY like.

I literally didn’t know that was Aubrey in the pink until the very end! And her “Brrrrrrt” was phenomenal. I could see her running a whole Latino crew with that attitude of hers!

When I first saw Aubrey I was racking my brain trying to figure out which new cast member this was since there are so many this season. Can't keep 'em all straight. They all suck! The new cast member that really needs to get his walking papers was the guy playing William (0:38).

This and the Empire-inspired political drama, Them Trumps. Sucks it didn't have an ending that spoofed Biden winning the 2020 election and the 2021 Capitol raid/riot/insurrection. Real, fearless comedy writers would have torn that a new one.

Amen! When they hit it, it's great. I can't understand why some SNL shows and the majority of skits are lackluster at best. If they can do this kind of work, why are these jewels so rare? Ego and others carried SNL to new heights with this one!

Every single sketch with Aubrey Plaza in it was fantastic. Funniest entire SNL episode I’ve seen. They really blew it when they didn’t hire Aubrey. There’s nothing she can’t do. From funny to serious, she’s the whole package. I’ll watch anything, if she’s in it. 🥰😍🤩
