Thanks for sharing your experiences and excellent tips again! I'm almost 3 months in and I'm still really really tired. But I've dealt with autoimmune issues for 11 years so I'm happy to continue the elimination phase and go back whenever I need to. I need to be even more mindful of sleep and stress so your tips about going back go elimination phase and how it helps you is very reassuring. Thanks again, Shanna! So helpful ❤❤❤

You're welcome! I'm SO glad you found my experience helpful! Congrats on being 3 months in! That is awesome Terry! 11 years of autoimmune issues is so difficult, and although AIP is tiring, once you get the hang of it, it is SO much easier than living with constant autoimmune symptoms. Sending you SO much love and support! Here's to finding joy on the AIP, whether in elimination or reintros!

Such a great informative video, I’m currently on the road to diagnosis ( for what looks like Lupus.) I’ve done Whole 30 twice with some improvements, but not enough. I’m thinking of trying AIP next, but it just seems so restrictive. But it seems like it might be worth it. I’m going to go back through and watch a lot of your videos for ini and motivation.

Hi Alicia! The road to diagnosis can be so hard! My heart is with you! Praying you can find answers ASAP. I've never tried a Whole 30 so I don't have experience with it at this point, but AIP really did work wonders for me. It seems crazy restrictive for me at first...like, uhhhhh - what do I even eat?!?! Like anything, with time and effort, it became easier, and now it's second nature to me. I do have reintros now, but still eat elimination phase nutrient dense whole foods most of the time. The reintros I eat often are things like seeds, green beans, and some nuts, and occassionally eggs. So still whole foods ;)
I have lots of articles on my website...many on AIP. shannanemrow.com . Feel free to reach out anytime with questions. So excited for you to start your AIP journey! In my experience, mindset is key ;) . Big hugs!

Thank you, again! Did you keep a journal through your journey? I'm wondering if it's a good idea. Also, do you know of a phone app for AIP? I found Paleo ones, but wondered if there is one for AIP.

You're welcome! So happy to help! I did not keep a journal throughout my entire journey, and wish I had. With that said, I did keep notes of symptoms and medical info to share with doctors at some points in my journey. But keeping a journal can be incredibly helpful and I highly recommend it! I have not heard of a phone app for AIP, but that would be awesome! ;)
