@@jonaviebumaat7720 Hi there! So nice to meet you! I now just get my antibodies checked once a year, and last time they were checked, they were decreasing / going down substantially from my previous labs. I will say that the first number of months after starting AIP, my antibodies didn't go down yet even though I was feeling so much better. It took time for mine to start coming down. And I've heard of others whose antibodies come down faster, and yet others whose antibodies don't decrease even though they are feeling so much better.
Depression is my major symptom. I had a major stress in my life 5 years ago and I was in survival mode for years trying to get myself in order emotionally, financially etc. I believe this triggered Hashimoto. I went gluten free, dairy free. I'm feeling better but still how to stay stress free when you know you need get up and work since you need to pay your bills, pay your rent and think about your future. I feel burdened, like everything is on my back and having no support. But hey that's life, we all have different stories and struggles. I feel your emotions. Thanks for sharing. Wish you all the best. ❤️
So happy for you. I’m almost 2 yrs in to my RA journey. I’m still strict aip. I’ve tried to reintroduce and it doesn’t seem to work. Some foods however I can have on occasion, like monthly. So much to learn. I like you feel God has a plan.
Thank you for sharing Bobbi! Each of us are different, and I love that you are finding what works for you. Working with a functional med doctor, or troubleshooting can be so helpful if reintroductions continually aren't going well. Sometimes we may need to work on more gut healing or some other aspect of healing. ❤️
Do you know of anyone with Hashimoto’s that changed their lifestyle and was able to stop taking thyroid meds? My biggest issue is fear and anxiety. Sometimes those alone will nearly paralyze me. I just think thoughts of bad health and I crumble.
Shanna, GOD is why I have survived, endured, persevered and finally starting to thrive with Hashimoto. My journey began undiagnosed for 34 years and GOD was my bed Buddy from age 11 and ever. Once I got married at 39, this life change knocked me down again after a huge flare up just six months before. Thanking GOD for my husband who held me up when my symptoms made it so I’m unable to work for last 17 years and contribute to our family finances. My job is Prayer practitioner, not a warrior because I have no training just experience❣️. Four years in my marriage I was finally diagnosed with Hashi and until this last year I’d been walking this long lonely journey to a healthy lifestyle. First, I listened to my rheumatologist and started adding Methotrexate to my many immune supportive supplements my MOTHER and life advocate gave me. Second, I meet with the most amazing nurse practitioners with rheumatology training and they supervise my care and validate the needs that so many endocrinologist and thyroid specialist ignored and denied for over 40 years. And third, YOU sharing Your Journey that is so relatable because GOD answers prayers❣️ GOD continue to BLESS You and Yours for SHARING Your Light with those of us lost and isolated❣️❤️❣️

I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto, what are the clear signs of a flare? I have had so many up and down days.
How can I get my antibodies down?
