I will one day have an HO scale EMD F7 A&B units, along side an EMD E8 A&B units, Alco FA/B Units, Alco PA/B units, Alco DL-109 units, Baldwin DR-12-8-1500/2 units, RF-16 A&B units, Baldwin DR-6-2-1000 units, Fairbanks Morse Erie Built A/B units, and Fairbanks Morse C-Liner A/B units.
I like Cab Units, and I like Road Switchers, and Switchers, and basically just Locomotives and Trains in general. I have plans to do railroad training and get into the Railroad Career (Probably work for a Short Line). And on my off time, I could do HO scale models because I would have the money.
All in all, Trains are cool, and old cab units that used to ride before my time are cool.

Nice you’re going to have quite the collection! I’d like to get some ATSF Alco PAs. That’ll be cool man to get into the railroad. Great career path and good money! Thank you for watching!

This WalthersProto "F-7" A-B set looks beautiful and realistic for plastic models. I'm a hardcore brass guy...and I have this same HO scale A-B set. But, it's from Overland Models lnc. It's brass, of course, and it's also factory painted in the same red and silver warbonnet paint scheme as this WalthersProto "F-7" model set. The one thing I don't like about my set are the couplers that came with it. The Kadee couplers sets the "A" and "B" units too far apart. The wide space makes my set look unrealistic and lousy. The close coupling on the WalthersProto set is far more realistic. I gotta replace the Kadee couplers with better, "close coupling" couplers, perhaps, from a different manufacturer. Anyway, your review of this WalthersProto F-7 A-B set was terrific. 👍 I enjoyed watching it.

Nice set you mush have! I’ve never had a brass piece. I’d like to give brass a shot. Brass models are gorgeous. I like the spacing between the units from Walthers, although I wish that had actually installed some working diaphragms. Even if they put them in the box for user install, that would have been nice. Thank you for watching! Thank you the compliment!

This is a very handsome f7 a/b unit set and I would really like to own a set of these locomotives, but this is a premium class price level at $500-$550 from what I have observed for this two unit locomotive set.

They are great models and look amazing . I think I would have enjoyed the Athearn Genesis models a little better. I think they a little bit better model. You are right this run around the price point that you mentioned. Pricey! Thank you for watching.

I like loksound 4 horns better. Do they make these without sound so I can custom install the sound of my choice?

They do actually make them in DC only. There are some that are still available.

Is this better than Athearn Genesis in detail and accuracy?

I cannot speak for Athearn first hand as I have never owned a Genesis F7, although after seeing many videos I can say they are both on par with each other.
