    Today is Day 39 for me wearing this Ultrahuman Ring Air all day & night and... yes, I still love the light-as-air technology wrapped around my finger! Funny enough, with the caffeine window reminders I've reduced the amount of caffeinated drinks consumed over the past five weeks. Cheers to portable health! Ready for your first smart ring, eh?

    😅 yeah so I rewatched this vid x2 yes I have a lot spare time until I’m back to work 😢
    Anyway I have to absolutely agree with your points ultra human I would say needs to improve specially steps & workouts but here’s credit the sleep track 👍very nice plus the notification of reports is good whilst apple and sammy need that
    Oura ring nails well they have doing it for a very long time 😅it shows the longer you improve on a product the better it gets
    U.H just needs improvements and updates with time I know they will get it right 👍🙌

      WOW 😮 And thank you for re-watching. I need to remind myself to avoid comparing gadgets to the competition. When the ŌURA Ring 2 was replaced by generation 3.0 I think a “Should I upgrade?” video is needed. Comparing generation 1.0 of the Ultrahuman Ring Air against 3rd gen. ŌURA Rings, well, perhaps I should not have and yet… I could not help myself to avoid thinking about the variety of differences & similarities. Day 55 with the Ultrahuman Ring Air and it is still on my left index finger.

      Yep, hmmmm, in deed, and months later, the following year, 01/03/2024, the Ultrahuman Ring Air still resides on my right index finger since it was unboxed. The battery life is around four to seven days depending upon how many workouts I track with it. Ultrahuman is working on a augmented integration with Apple Fitness/Apple Health and then imported workouts will count more inside Ultrahuman. For example: right now, the Ultrahuman app wants me to walk 1,750 steps within the next 90 minutes while sunlight benefits my circadian cycles. Soon I'll be able to not even wear the ring, just my Apple Watch Ultra, execute a morning walk, and it will automatically sync for me and populate the data from Apple Fitness over to Ultrahuman - done & goal reached. I don't know when this software update will rollout as of yet. And sorry it took me four months to respond to your comment. Happy New Year, Melaqua!

    What do you think of the sizing compared to the sizers? I'm pretty torn between 8 and 9. 9 spins on my finger if I spin it intentionally and can slide off easily, but it does stay in place when on. The 8 stays put perfectly, but getting it around my knuckle can be difficult (I had to use soap to get the sizer off), to the point that I worry if I were to swell up it would be trapped on. I really wish they allowed one size exchange. 😡

    • @PeterHerget
      @PeterHerget  11 месяцев назад +2

      I would slide back on the size 9 again. Fingers swell up during workouts. I was going to go with a size 10 and glad I ordered the size 11 for my left index finger. And yeah, that would be nice of Ultrahuman Support to allow size exchanges within the first 45 days.

    Which one would you recommend Ring Air or Samsung galaxy watch 5?

    • @PeterHerget
      @PeterHerget  Год назад +4

      That is a wonderful question. Over the last 11 months I have worn, worked out, slept, used, tested, and reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro and it was not my favorite, sorry. I liked the Galaxy Watch4 Classic much better. And for those reasons, yes, I would go with the Ultrahuman Ring Air. Plus, you will save $$$, nobody will even know you're tracking your health, battery 🔋 life is four to seven days, and it truly is light...

      And this is called a... "Gadget Conundrum!" There are far too many gadgets out there for Users to buy. I don't know of any Social-Media Influencers that buys, wears, and tests them all. I try my best and fail every month by missing some cool wearable or home improvement technology. As for a ring or a watch, well, I feel a smart-ring is a lovely companion that compliments a smart watch. Rings don't tell time, don't let you know your workout heart-rate unless your smartphone is nearby. You could just buy a basic smart-watch to fill in the gaps a smartring may create. Here's an option:
      1. buy the Ultrahuman Ring Air
      2. buy one of these watches by Deeprio: deeprio.com/

    the Oura Ring you have was is a size 12, and the ultrahuman size 11? I have 12 on the oura as well, but the sizing app for ultrahuman recommends a size 9. any insights on the sizing?

    • @PeterHerget
      @PeterHerget  11 месяцев назад +3

      Insight about smart rings? Just who do you think I am? I mean, I only wore four smart rings to bed last night ;) Just kidding... I was going to order the size 10 UHRA (Ultrahuman Ring Air), but then I wore it for another day and went with a size up, size 11. It is strange though, for I would think smart rings would be able to use the same time of ring sizing. On my index fingers I wear the size 12 ŌURA Ring gen 3, but the UHRA had be a size 11. They actually sent me a size 11 and a size 12 and the 12 was far too big and I gifted to my friend, Gary. And he is helping me test the Ultrahuman Ring ecosystem and accuracy. Both Gary and I are comparing the data collected by Ultrahuman against that of a Garmin Fenix smart watch.

    Hey Peter, I am just about to click on buy but i just have one question before I do. I use a number 11 ours ring on my index finger and I was going to get a number 10 ultrahuman. You went a size down, is the fit ok? Should I order a sizing kit? Cheers, Henrik

    • @PeterHerget
      @PeterHerget  7 месяцев назад +2

      The Ultrahuman Ring Air has just one bump, so it fits around your index finger more tightly than other smart rings. Yeah, I wear a size 12 ŌURA Ring gen3 on my left index finger and a size 11 Ultrahuman Ring on my right index finger. You don't want the smart ring to be a perfect fit when you're not exercising for your digits will swell up during a workout, and your fingers change size with the weather. If you have the sizing kit still, yes, wear a size 11 around your preferred index finger for 48 hours straight, sleep with it, workout, go for a swim, and then click the button for the shopping cart...

    • @PeterHerget
      @PeterHerget  11 месяцев назад +2

      The middle finger is an interesting digit. I've worn smart rings on my right and left middle finger and did not notice much different from index or the ring fingers. For the better part of 18 months I've worn that silver, size 13, ŌURA Ring 3.0 on my right thumb. In fact, yep, it is still there as I type and shall remain for the rest of this year to finish my two-year testing cycle. From what I've read, and experienced, yes, the indexing finger is supposed to be the most accurate. And yet, I've experienced this fact too: it all depends on the placement of your smart-ring, how snug it is, and how your body's circulation truly moves that blood. If the ring is too loose:
      1. you many lose the ring
      2. the light sensors won't be able to obtain accurate readings.
