Yes, a lot of talk, but useful information for a potential buyer, not just most “commentary” we see on these pages from people who would never afford one of these in a lifetime. If youre driving a Corolla or a Subaru etc, dont comment on things out of your dream range. For me, it was useful information, not just a bunch of tyre kicking wishful wannabees making comments on things they nothing about. Excellent review..
Maybe BMW want us to use the gesture control so they can eliminate multimedia button on the wheel and put something else on it

One thing I don't get is that almost all luxury cars sold in the US and Europe came equipped with ventilated seats, but you almost never see one optioned in Australia. WHY is that? Did they not know how hot the weather is?? OR they think people love rubbing sweaty tees against the leather??? Plus it's not even that expensive, a couple of thousands in a 100,000 car is nothing......OPTION THE VENTILATED SEAT, DEALERS!

Yep, even a Jeep Grand Cherokee has vented/heated seats.
It’s because not every seat options comes with ventilation as an added option, so myself as well as I believe many others don’t get to add that option even if we want to. In case you don’t know, most of the ventilation seats comes in colours most families with young kids (myself included) wouldn’t choose, that’s why.
Edgar Chieng that’s just not true, yes you need to go for comfort seats option to get ventilation with Bmw, and that’s a little more expensive, but comfort seats has black color, or really dark brown, which can suit your needs.
Oggy Oggy my point exactly, right now it’s almost not possible to get vented seats with MB BMW or Audi, because you need to order a car specifically, and that’s so expensive and impractical, no one wants to pay 20000 more than a stock car. It’s infuriating.
about every bmw comes with ventilation seats it only matters if the buyer has the money for it and time to go through the paperwork and do you even live in australia. Its not hot literarily every day in australia anyway.

What's your problem with diesel they are cleaner than petrol nowadays with all the euro6 and stuff, where diesels are bad is all the old shitbox trucks.........
Ok that M50d version has 2 wasted Turbos. Really, the M50d has as much turbos as a Bugatti Chiron
That car with 21s, msport pack, plus on roads/dealer delivery, will be no where near a 113k ‘bargain’. If someone can get under 125k (drive away)for that car then they are doing well.

Oggy Oggy no mate he didn’t. But even omitting that term, he was inaccurate. Not to mention this is a channel meant for consumer advice, it’s just lazy journalism. I love this car btw, it’s just not as cheap as he is saying.
I paid $155k heavily optioned. It starts at 135k drive away so I don’t understand why they don’t include drive away price.

Oliver Whittington no mercedes has it ugly interiors and hairdresser like plain star on the front and audi uh its pleading for help because hardly anyone buys them conpaired to merc and bmw. but bmw has a menicing notrals
Caradvice view trend is going down and the reviewers need to go back to the basics and do what theu did before...waited the whole 11.minutes for a glimpse of the dash and console..too mich camera on the presenter...hope they get better in future...good luck

To all the armchair experts out there bagging this review - please get a life - top review ! I actually remember when the first X5 was the ultimate SUV - now a lot of people are buying cars for badge value alone - interesting times ahead for BM
bruno condello To many people these days in my town are buying merc c clases just for the badge every intersection there are like 4.
Urus who? X7 who? Cullinan who? Why all that if you can have an X5 lol X5 is the perfect SUV nothing else is better.. except a few in its own segment
