Picked up my 40i a couple of weeks ago. The 2021 also has a 48v mild hybrid which is brilliant. I’m getting 22 mpg round town (London traffic) and 35 on a run. Not bad for 3.0litre petrol turbo. Stunning motor I love it.

I miss my b58, but the b57s economy is just unbelievable. Living in london with a very heavy foot and getting 31.6mpg average! With my x3 40i my average was 17mpg. Next stop for me I think the 50e, best of both worlds

I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and bottom line is it feels essential to me. Like I now feel like I’m just going to stick with x5 forever. Weird, never had that with another car before

Great video mate, but surely something wrong in your stated measurement of 46dB noise level in a Touareg ! It’s a great nice quiet car but no car is that quiet, that’s practical whispering. Please check again
The trouble with these metrics is always the device and conditions. Agree, nothing will produce very accurate readings.
The whole autonomous traffic assist kerfuffle is ridiculous.
If you have to keep your eyes on the road and pay that much attention.....

It's a fabulous car,,,, but still not as good looking as the e53. In fact none are. And that's nearly a 20yrs old design.

I find the F15 to have a better looking rear end than a e53 but the E53 facelift beats all the other X5s in ever way besides that
Nonsense, E53 looks terribly dated and small now. F15 best looking in my eyes, this is a very close second

Bias BMW review and I’m a full bmw convert but X5 is a no goer with all problems it comes with unless the Ego needs massage, then yes go for it and like this guy, you really need to be full of yourself and you you type of person

That grille is oversized and hideous. Considering its a large suv it hasn't got much interior space. So its expensive, massively ugly and not much space. It's pretty much an overpriced turd best getting a 5 series estate instead.
iDrive is one of THE WORST rated systems in its class and the only thing this has that others (in class) do not are starry-night lights in the ceiling, which they only have because they own Rolls Royce.
