Alot of people have been asking for a list of mods in the modpack. I’ve got this in my pipeline for new YT videos. Until then, the modpack should be available through discord, an we’ve uploaded it to modrinth (curseforge modpack is WIP)
Link to the modrinth modpack is here: modrinth.com/modpack/the-pond-modpack/version/1.3.1
These mods add such a vibe to minecraft, with the feel of ancient artifacts and purely natural materials. Vanilla plus is my favorite kind of minecraft
As it installs, it tells me that the file cannot be opened 😅
What shaders are you using?
Is this complementary unbound on the video? Tweaked BSL maybe?
@@youtubesuccs860 I think I figured out it's Bliss shaders
The algorithm tonight really said “let this guy cook” 🔥
Yeah got no idea who this young man is but I guess will give it a try
Me: (gets laggy shader) my pc is on fire!
WTF I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING
I just posted my first minecraft survival video. Check it out and let me know what you think, appreciate you!!
fr
HE'S NOT COOKING, HE'S WINNING HELL'S KITCHEN
That involves cooking
I'm so glad the algorithm decided to push this my way. This is exactly the sort of minecraft experience I've been wishing for in these past several years. And your video style is so captivating. Keep doing what you're doing, please!
Happy to hear you like the video! Feel free to join the server too if you want to join the fun 👉😎👉
@@KoiBoi-YTIf you can, I want to see updates on how this turned out
I just want Hytale to come out already 😩
I’m only 30 seconds in rn and same. (I like the bubble noises in the intro 🫧)
@@maxrequisite BROOOO you get me. This what hytale was supposed to be and have a story as well.
When I saw this video, I thought it was just going to be some person ranting about how minecraft has changed and not the same anymore. But this, this reminded me of my first time playing, I was clueless and was finding new thing all the time. It reminded me that minecraft is a sandbox with infinite possibilities, now it's all about what you can achieve or what you have but this video reminded me of the times when it did not matter what you had, what mattered was how much fun you had. Thank you sir, for your efforts.
For real, man. Even now, I'm still discovering things about the base game that've apparently been around for years... For example, just the other day I learned that, if you have a lantern hanging from a chain, and then break that chain, the lantern turns into a falling entity and smashes on the floor below, starting a fire. Weird, but possibly useful in certain circumstances.
Exactly, and instead of complaining, ranting or even expecting changes from Mojang you just add whatever mods suit your desired playstyle.
@@Caldoric wait what that existed?
@@hoomanbing _Apparently!_ I thought it was a mod thing when I found it because I was playing in a modpack at the time, but apparently no, it's a vanilla thing.
@@Caldoric damn i have to try it
What in the world is this cinematic masterpiece???
The simplicity that brings comfy
i like that
Lets go to a place. . . where everything is made of blocks.
For real. This is how I play on my realm.
It's like the perfect mix between Xbox multi-player and old-school survival servers with a huge player base.
We just kinda vibe and connect civilizations with roads and boats.
give da code to join
the algorithm has blessed me
Definitely
fr
weve all been blessed
Amen
I've been spending the past couple of months creating my own survival+ mod pack, creating multiple test servers that my friends would play on and I'd see how long it'd be before complaints started rolling in. I'm coming so close to completing my goal of making the perfect mod pack that offers so much with so few mods, just so i can feel everything your server/smp has to offer while taking a step beyond just vanilla minecraft. I began straying away from this goal, getting lost within the millions of mods the community has created. I want to thank you for reminding me of my initial goal, a world that's worth exploring, without the need for crazy additions, insanely powerful mobs and mechanics that just dont belong in minecraft.
Would love to see the mod pack when finished
@@HazardFBA I'll definitely find a way to get it to you when i do!
@@dsp2313 guess I'll subscribe on this thread too then
@@modern-synthesis Everyone will be welcome to have it once im done! It isn't much, but it'll definitely be an enlightening experience! I'll have a google drive link or something posted once im done.
@@dsp2313 you won't be able to do it here, RUclips will delete your comment silently. But you can post this link in your channel bio, and tell about it here
That server sounds genuinely lovely mate, I hope you all have a great time on it because it sounds very cozy.
Someone get this man a job. This is the best server trailer in existence❤
He should go touch grass first
@@straightwarlock5341 your not wrong…
Love that I landed here. I was thinking about finding something like this yesterday, and this appears now! I just wish you had space to actually let me join
this is the most peaceful ive ever felt with minecraft in a very long time. nowadays whenever i want to start a new world i feel immediately overwhelmed by the things i "should" be doing, mining, fighting, recourses, farming materials and xp, so on.
thank you for reminding me that peace is an option
this is how we all remember minecraft
My most vivid memory was when Minecraft was starting out at the base of a massive cliff. I scaled the mountain as night fell, and created a furnace by complete accident. I lived in a tiny hole in the ground with the furnace and my table, surrounded by the monsters of the night. This video brought up my memories of playing this game for the first time.
I've never cried from one of these before, this is the first. So beautiful
This gives the same type of vibes as the OG Minecraft trailer about 'going wherever you want to go, building whatever you want'.
honestly its amazing, the exact type of minecraft server i have wanted to be on for so so long but never been able to be on, unfortunately my GPU at the moment isnt working but when its fixed, ill be joining
The part about your wonderful little world was absolutely amazing. Filled me with such emotion. Thank you for this video.
The ending of the video really sounded like that first Minecraft trailer. It really fills me with nostalgia. I've always wanted a community server like that, but it's so hard to find or build the exact kind that I'd be interested in. It has made me wish there were an AI mod intelligent enough to act like a player in a server, but we're not quite near that level yet.
dude the production quality on this video is immaculate. The amount of work you must have put into this video is extraordinary, big props to you and I hope to see more awesome content from you in the future!
It's not been a long time I got minecraft and I can still remember how it was when I got my first building on a mountain
Something about the footage for this video really felt like B-Roll in a real life documentary in a way that no other Minecraft video I’ve seen before really hit. Very impressed. Such a great little video.
2:30 "This is how it was meant to be: A shared Minecraft Experience." 😢😢😢 I have no friends to play with !
Let's play together then
@@inherentnerd1 I don't see your name but ok. I can 🤩🥳... Java or Bedrock edition? Realms or server? My only condition is that in Both Java & Bedrock... I have a Scuba Diver costume 😁
In Java, I have a diving helmet. And on Bedrock, My character has a diving mask!
@@inherentnerd1 Hello, if you are trying to contact mee, be aware that links and e-nail adresses aren't seen in comments.
If you wrote something already,, in tbe past hour or so 😁😣....... .... I don't see it
I’ll play with you! I also have no one to play with😢
This honestly feels like an actual Minecraft world, the simplicity is amazing
Wow, Koi. The video quality is incredible, and the server + modpack look fantastic to boot. Thanks for making me feel that sense of wonder I once felt with this game again.
I forgot I saved this video in my memories playlist. I'm glad I did, because now I get to see this and feel insanely happy and nostalgic over the community you've created. I hope the server opens up again soon, I really want to join and play with someone again.
That was actually the best server ad that I've seen. I remember there was a server I used to frequent called Green Gem, and it had this feel to it (Green Gem, the old Green Gem at least, doesn't exist anymore) and man, you're right, that is the peak Minecraft experience.
I also had a server like that. It was called Minecraft Junkie. That server had been open for 12(!) years before it closed down recently. Me and my brother found our old house that we built together 11-12 years ago.
Yep this was the perfect video I needed to find. I love this, you perfectly captured the feeling of nostalgia I remember this game best, amazing work friend.
This video feel like a memory
Dude, Minecraft needs floating islands like those, it feels almost like a missing feature at this point
I feel like this reminded me of what i loved about minecraft and something ive been missing for a long time. i think ill solo this and see where it takes me. thank you for the modpack and happy travels
Minecraft has always been about mining and crafting, but the one element that people forgot, is that it's about mining and crafting *TOGETHER* 🔥
This. This is exactly the type of multiplayer experience I wish I had the chance of experiencing way back then. Though it seems I’ve arrived a bit late to the party, unfortunately and will have to wait. I’m sure it will be worth it though. Thank you for providing this. And your cinematic is amazing! It almost made me cry! I’ll stick around your channel for a while. Seems comforting, just like the good old days of Minecraft.
Feel free to join the discord too! We do occasionally new whitelist rounds so worth taking the trip. Might get lucky ;))
Wow...that is one beautiful world! And you've definitely made me nostalgic for the old days when I'd play Minecraft on the library computers.
Man, I hope you will be a big youtuber someday. Putting this much effort into small RUclips channel is really something.
This is exactly what I've been looking for for the past month or so, I'll absolutely be tryin to join! Even if I don't get in though I hope you make videos on this server, it already looks so peaceful
Love to see it! I've learned over time that honestly I'm a singleplayer kinda guy, but servers like this awesome when they happen, hope this project lives long!
Man making me want to cry! I love it! I hope you see all of these visions and dreams come true. Maybe ill try to join one day.
I remember my first time with minecraft 8 years ago. My brother told me to build a house out of tnt and then blew it up.
very well put together i hardly realized it was advertisement until the end, will definitely be checking this out 👍
Giving off og Minecraft Trailer vibes. Beautiful video, great job!
Sounds lovely, I hope your server prospers and holds many memories in the future.
This style of commentary and video editing is sooo nice. Its far better than any Minecraft video ive seen in recent years, being so simplistic, yet captivating.
I'd honestly LOVE to join a server like this to make content on👌👌
The music, the way you describe your server, the scenery, it all blends in so well! Really reminds me of the OG Minecraft trailer. Good work
Such a beautiful minecraft world you got
So glad the algorithm worked, this better give you alot of subs and attention
This hit me right in the minecraft nostalgia feels man
I have a little server with my friends like this that i started about a month ago. Playing with a similar Vanilla+ visual/audio experience as you showed with Distant Horizons has completely changed how I see and feel about the game. It's not just a little sandbox. It's a massive, infinite gorgeous world and we are making our own little life in it. I love every second of it ♥️
All of your videos are so satisfyingly shot and produced, I love your new intro animation as well!
Thanks alot! Appreciate the kind words and glad you like the intro! 🫧🐟
This reminds me of 2b2t in its golden age without all the griefers and wars. Some old videos of it still linger on the Internet. The Old Spawn Road and Castle Hateheart...
It's enough to make a grown man cry. 🥹
first time i see a man cook and im... impressed.
Made me think of some of my own first times in minecraft, I remember playing when I was young and screaming when I heard zombies and spiders and getting freaked out. Thanks for the lovely video!!
Ooh! I'm curious about the modpack you're using. I've spent several months recently researching and building a Vanilla+ pack of my own.
It's always cool to find new RUclipsrs who have that same passion, and a great way to find more mods I might like to use.
Who knows, perhaps someday I'll join or even host a server like this! :D
Modpack should be available in my discord server ;))
This is the exact thing I have been working on recently for after my exams, but holy i didnt expect to see the exact identical mindset on the platform and to see it be such a connected one too
I used to scour technic for modpacks that had servers attached, and the experiences I had on those middling quality servers are some of my favorite. Its hard to find stuff thats similar nowadays, but now I have a good group of friends with enough collective knowledge and resources to make and play our own packs. I miss those old days, but I like new ones just as much.
Actually got chills at the end
This video allowed me to have the same feeling I had when I first played. It also reminds me of the servers that I used to play on with friends. Although watching the servers eventually die out after a few months was sad, it was always worth the fun that I had while it was alive.
I remmember playing in a multiplayer server too about 3-4 years ago and i was beautiful logging in and see people building things exchanging blocks/material by bartering like in Hermitcraft, it was perfect and peaceful life
now this is art😌
Thanks 😃
I have hardly played in ages, spent a couple of days with caves and cliffs. I needed this now, thankyou.
Absolutely nailed the production on this video, brilliant work. Wishing you all the best for the future of your server. o7
Why was this video so well made. Nice job dude.
This vid got me tearing up fr
Hope they were tears of joy/nostalgia :,)
I've always looked for an experience like this, my friends and I have a "minecraft faze" and at the end I'm always the last one. Hope to join and be part of this amazing community.
Glad to know I'm not the only one having a hard time finding smp's recently. Haven't been able to find one after the one I played on last died.
You are Underrated man!
A really Geniune and interesting video.
Man I remember my first Minecraft Server I played on. What I would kill to have a community like that again.

Man great video love the slow paced type of Minecraft
Excellent video man 👏 instant sub
Man i used to play minecraft alot and i honestly think this is exactly what everyone was looking for, ur very underrated and ur videos are amazing. i can tell u take a lot of time to edit ur videos, im sure u will get more popular soon! good luck :D

I’d love to join a server like that, been looking for a while
This was truly a work of art
like genuinely this simple video is so just amazing that i got chills, the music, the working horses...the shaders
I'm actually Impressed by the Quality of this video bro 😊😊
Another underrated channel finding its glory. Nice to see this vid
this video was a nostalgia trip for me (tysm)
This is exactly the server i need, i saw this video and it just clicked. i need this!
These cinematic shots are amazing! I want in :)
Ok the horse carts are awesome
Im so high I thought the thumbnail said “The Mew Minecraft Way”
I remember putting together a modpack similar to this. Great memories. I hope to be able to have a chance to join in the future!
This sounds so lovely.
My friend group attempted this several times and found toxic servers, or players were rushing through everything. There wasn’t “shared” experience, lot of play-alone on a server.
It sounds like you r figured it out
How is this video so incredible peaceful and relaxing? 😌
I just came across this video and it speaks to my core play style. I hope there’s room for one more.
Now this made me feel all the nostalgia T^T MineCraft has given me so many amazing memories and friends :) Glad to see people still want to seek for the core of MineCraft, having fun with friends.
I guess it's that time of the year. Once every year I play Minecraft and enjoy it like if it was the first time. Thanks for this.
I got chills, watching this video is so calming but exiting at the same time, I’m glad i found this.
It’s at times like this when I wish I had a PC to properly play and use mods
the distant horizons mod really makes this even better
It’s like the new trailer for Minecraft. It reminds me of the old trailer that used to be on the Minecraft website
I think you just managed to rekindle my love for minecraft with a singular video, thank you. I absolutely love this style of video
Oh my gosh I’ve been wanting a server like this forever, I tried to do it either my friends but it never worked out. Can’t wait to join eventually!
subbed, so that when the server open. I can join with my friends to enjoy the modded experience.
Great Video. Will watch them
Love this idea! I’m doing a playthrough right now with a similar idea. A big focus has been on connecting different builds with realistic roads and pathways. Adds so much “lore” to the world that keeps me interested. Love the video!
