Can you imagine how much it would suck if you boot up minecraft for the very first time, you've never played before, only to spawn trapped underground in a pit of lava? Wild.
Fun fact: repeating mineshafts used to be standard in Bedrock. There was a glitch with how mineshafts generated a few years back, which means every single mineshaft you’d find would be infinite diagonally. It was honestly really cool but I got lost so fast lol
@@lucy_derg yeah, they started *actively* fixing that sort of stuff only a few months ago (even though it's still buggy). For example, trail ruins were disconected for almost a year, and were fixed only in January
For number 7, I like to think that the Illagers in that Woodland Mansion made the Nether portal themselves, but something went wrong and now the portal is fucking up their house.
i dont think it was seed related, but once one of my worlds got corrupted in such a weird way that command blocks, repeat command blocks, end portals, end gateways, nether portals, barriers, structure blocks, and chain command blocks would randomly appear littered across the terrain in a certain desert i played in. in survival mode. you couldnt interact with the portals either.

Oh and due to me having a world I had on 1.18 and then updating straight to 1.20 on bedrock in the middle of a forest a lake spawned with the bottom of the lake level with the floor and it’s close to base and spawn like 200 blocks away and
1 anomaly i encountered many years ago was in 1.8 Beta(? it's been a while might just be 1.8) where a village generated a single building, a church, with a lone villager to match, in the smallest patch of plains biome surrounded by a dark oak forest. I called the villager wannabe witch
I think the chances of that are slim. Most seed hunters are very thorough and probably wouldn’t find just one example if it was common enough for the average player to find. The circumstances around broken generation is also usually rather unique, making it less likely to be missed.
With the conclusion of the Big Cactus Initiative some time ago, I think the time is right for Big Ice to become the next target of the minecraft community's collective processing power.
Regarding the tall ice spikes, a player named ElRichMC managed to generate pretty much an entire biome of them (reaching to world height iirc) using pistons and a lot of chunk-loading shenanigans. His video has an explanation of the method, and it was all done in survival! It surely doesn't count as an anomaly as it's artificially generated, but it's cool to see anyways. Btw, the video is in Spanish, but you can see the results in it without understanding the language.

My weird anomoly seed I found ramdomly was a seed where there were 26 naturally spawned pink sheep every time. It was about 1500 blocks from spawn and found it while just randomly adventuring. Happened back in I believe version 1.6.4. Another one though was that one of my superflat worlds had natural, normal terrain in it once, but I think thats just because my save was mildly corrupted
Fun fact: The same version with the naturally spawning triple chest seed (Seemingly caused by a mineshaft and dungeon colliding) also has infinite mineshafts like the repeating seed, except it's natural gen
i remember when i was a kid playing an older version of minecraft there being an end stronghold directly beneath spawn which shouldn't be possible because they need a certain amount of blocks to be far away from spawn to generate
There is an insanely rare chance that you spawned thousands of blocks away from spawn over a stronghold. But only a few seeds like that have been found
i was doing a challenge of walking 30 million blocks in adventure mode and i found 3 glitches on my way: a flying horse, a 7 blocks tall cactus and grass block with the snow texture but without the snow layer on top
When I began playing, the very first world I got had the spawn on a tiny island with an exposed shipwreck to the south. Ever since then I had a fan theory about the game being about Steve being shipwrecked in a strange and unfamiliar land.
What I’m still surprised is the triple chest still worked as if it was just a normal thing which raises the question did mojang ever 5ought of larger inventorys then 2 chests
Well they never made the GUI for the triple chest which is why it looks glitched. But that is an interesting question because every time you add a new chest (triple, quadruple, etc) the storage space increases.
@@RovantI guess they probably made it so the storage space is calculated through the amount of chests next together, but only expected 1 and 2 to be the case
@@fuzzbearplush4453the double chest inventory is made by merging the current chest's inventory with the ones next to it when displaying it. When more than one merge happens, it actually works completely fine and there is no problem with the inventory. There is only a visual glitch because the game makes the chest GUI by displaying a certain number of rows from the chest GUI background based on the inventory size. If the inventory has more than 6 rows, this goes off the bottom of the chest slots part of the GUI, and displays other parts of the GUI background file. A triple chest will display the players inventory slots and the gap in between (making the slots misaligned with the background). A quadruple chest will go off the bottom and display a blank space as well.
ok but that one end island you showed forming a ring shape around the towers would actually be a cool twist to the fight to make it less extremely easy if the ender dragon ai was 'better' so you could attack it (maybe it charges you or smth)
I still have world from 2015 where i found "village" where was only one house with well next to it. That alone is kinda rare but what was even better about it was that this house was bugged and was very tall so you could build a little basement inside the house under the floor. Cool stuff :D
Just wanna say, I love these videos, I've always been interested in anomalies in minecraft and glitches so watching these and other RUclipsrs got me into seed hunting so I've found some good seeds
If I'm being honest, an End Dimension with no main End Island would make excellent for a more challenging Ender Dragon fight. That is... if you end up spawning on ground.
I will admit, despite knowing too much about Minecraft and being very aware of the bug of small end oslands with holes at 0,0 where the portal should spawn, I had NO IDEA about the COMPLETELY BLANK END SEEDS!
After the 2 seconds of pause to check that the background music was indeed waterfall cave, uh, good vid, also, good music choice. Underrated dungeon tbfh. Edit: i watched the vid. Good music choice throughout, but more people should play pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of time if you really like roguelikes lol
That is a beautiful look in the intro, it reminds me of the old days where I could barely run MC... but pretty As pretty as my newbie brain made it look back then
What's really interesting about 13:28 is the reddit user is also playing one of only 2 versions of the game (Beta 1.9 pre 4 and 5) where a player could both collect ice and melt it in the nether to create water in survival mode. Unfortunately, those versions are no longer supported by the launcher, so you can only play them by downloading archives of them and modding them into the game. It's crazy that we have 2 rare events overlapping like that.
I myself also have a weird minecraft world. I somehow bugged the whole file and the whole world has strange terrain everywhere. Not to mention the world file name is blank and the seed only showed 0. The world is mainly cut off chunks, sometimes I find a ocean chunk in a middle of a mountain or ice spike in between two mesa mountains. One time I even found a random jungle temple in the mesa by itself. Now with the deepslate, there's a lot of one block gaps everywhere. Idk what I did to get this
@@gunnaliteswafford3842 This was on bedrock edition, I don't think you could do that on there. I just know when I was playing the world when update aquatic came out, the world started to load like that in New chunks

@@KelsieTheAcorn McDonald's? I've wanted to know why also. I can understand chunk borders not looking right due to world generation possibly changing between versions. BUT why does the seed get set to zero.
In one of the caves and cliffs snapshots I found a basalt pillar in the overworld that was about 100 blocks tall and sticking out of the ground on top of a mountain
One of the best worlds i ever had was a world with a glitched stronghold that didn't have a portal. I had to travel a couple thousand blocks for another stronghold and it also was glitched and didnt have a portal. I had to go through the nether to get to the stronghold that actually had a portal.
I've been watching a lot of your videos recently and always find myself wondering what datapack/mod you are using for your sky-texture? it's so charming and just the right amount of fancy, i'd love to try it myself.
I actually have some indirect experience with the spawnkilling. A letsplayer I used to follow did a Minecraft let's play once. He was letting the game use a random seed, and the first world spawned him inside of a rock block, killing him through suffocation. He had to generate a new world just to be able to play at all.
Kinda offtopic, but can i just gush over the usage of PMD2 Tracks?! Im a huuuge PMD Simp, so hearing its OST outside of Pokemon Content always makes me a bit giddy inside
I wish Minecraft had native support for triple and quadruple chests. For quadruple chests, have the UI twice as wide. Since the 9x3 grid represents a single chest, and for a double chest, the top half represents either the left (Java) or the first (Bedrock) chest placed. So for a triple chest, the UI shouldn't break a grid in part. So the game could check if the current UI allows 3 chests tall UI, then show that, otherwise generate the UI for four chests, but with the bottom right 9x3 missing.
When it comes to the lava spawn, I recall playing on Xbox 360 and being unable to place exposed surface lava at the world spawn point because every time I tried to do so a dialog would appear from Xbox telling me that I can’t put it there because it would harm new players spawning in (a reasonable concern; my sister and I played split-screen often growing up). So they often do care about that.
as a kid when i played Minecraft of ipad, on a mountain i found naturally generated house-lile structure made out of stone. it also looked like it was exploded by creeper. or it has generated that way, or i built it myself and i forgot about it. either way i cant check it because i installed some lucky block mod which doesn't let me run Minecraft
3:22 most likely they'll force a small disk of endstone to spawn under the usual surface height at the center of the island to prevent the portal from breaking and call it a day
In case of the bad end generation they should just blacklist those seeds for random seed option. The game should just jump back to generating a new one and then check it. A simple loop. Mojang should hire me.
The most insane and rare bug i ever witnessed was when i launched a world, wandered a few minutes, then noticed that sheeps and a few other mobs had the face of a creeper. I found almost nothing about it on the internet, and closing-opening the game again resolved the bug. But that was pretty insane and it still feels like a dream when i think about it
i love getting super tall ice spikes in my worlds lol. i've gotten one similar to the one pictured, not as tall but 80 something blocks. i built a little walkway around it to make it an exhibit :)

Normal terrain in super flat can be caused by a corruption switching the generation type from super flat to normal
Fun fact: The same version with the naturally spawning triple chest seed (Seemingly caused by a mineshaft and dungeon colliding) also has infinite mineshafts like the repeating seed, except it's natural gen

i love your style with giving a reference to already covered topics and being unique and your voice is nice
good luck with everything
i remember when i was a kid playing an older version of minecraft there being an end stronghold directly beneath spawn which shouldn't be possible because they need a certain amount of blocks to be far away from spawn to generate
There is an insanely rare chance that you spawned thousands of blocks away from spawn over a stronghold. But only a few seeds like that have been found
i was doing a challenge of walking 30 million blocks in adventure mode and i found 3 glitches on my way: a flying horse, a 7 blocks tall cactus and grass block with the snow texture but without the snow layer on top
the cactus isn't a glitch lmao. that's like saying a 12 eye portal is a glitch
The cactus is a few normal plants spawning on top of the same sand
The snow layer is natural in some versions due to endermen picking up snowy grass blocks
@@epicsouththeoduskiangamer I was always in 1.16.5
@@itsoreoiseatable yes I believe it was patched in 1.17 or 1.18
The triple chest thing is actually so cool, especially because the chest works too.
@@Rovant i believe i saw someone artificially create a quintuple chest in a youtube video and opening the (middle?) chest crashed their game
@@Rovant found the video "Minecraft Beta Funny Moments" by callmecarson and it's at like 2 minutes in
@@fuzzbearplush4453the double chest inventory is made by merging the current chest's inventory with the ones next to it when displaying it.
12:57 There was actually 1 really old seed with a working QUINTUPPLE chest.
ok but that one end island you showed forming a ring shape around the towers would actually be a cool twist to the fight to make it less extremely easy if the ender dragon ai was 'better' so you could attack it (maybe it charges you or smth)
Love watching the quality of your content improve! Keep up the awesome work brother
Please keep making those videos, I searched for something like this for ages 😭🙏
I still have world from 2015 where i found "village" where was only one house with well next to it. That alone is kinda rare but what was even better about it was that this house was bugged and was very tall so you could build a little basement inside the house under the floor. Cool stuff :D
Just wanna say, I love these videos, I've always been interested in anomalies in minecraft and glitches so watching these and other RUclipsrs got me into seed hunting so I've found some good seeds
Nice! If you find anything great feel free to let us know.
@@Rovant Not yet but I have found a couple kinda good mansion seeds
If I'm being honest, an End Dimension with no main End Island would make excellent for a more challenging Ender Dragon fight. That is... if you end up spawning on ground.
Holy shit that’s a CLASSIC tent build
I think it’s a pretty big world, but Andrew’s just built different
4:15 Waiter, I'll be needing an aerodynamic vehicles mod, please
I will admit, despite knowing too much about Minecraft and being very aware of the bug of small end oslands with holes at 0,0 where the portal should spawn, I had NO IDEA about the COMPLETELY BLANK END SEEDS!
That’s what makes Minecraft anomalies so cool. There’s always something out there that you haven’t heard of.
PMD explorers of time/darkness/sky is a masterpiece
I love your little tent area, it's so cozy especially with the rain
yo what are the shaders you're using? super atmospheric. also good vid.
Awesome video dude!
What shader do you use for Minecraft? Where you get all those cool looking star stuff
14:50 Why does the cow have name tag that says 25725?
I was working as well
your editing is really smooth and calming, amazing vid (:
do you think it's possible for any block to be broken by a buried treasure? (if all of them are able to spawn on 9, 9 chunk coords)
i love how you’re like telling this as a campfire story
Just binged all these videos. Great work
I’m glad you liked them! I’m curious, after binging them all, what’s some feedback you have for future parts?
Imagine getting a treasure map and your buried treasure is trapped in bedrock.
Those are some really effective pirates.
this is SUCH good and interesting content! can't believe you only have around 7k, i reckon you'll get quite big quite fast! awesome work
Thank you so much!!
That is a beautiful look in the intro, it reminds me of the old days where I could barely run MC... but pretty
As pretty as my newbie brain made it look back then
Incredible background music choices :)
Thank you! I think sound is very important when making videos. It can add a lot to the atmosphere.
THANKS FOR PUTTING THE SEEDS IN THE DESC
after the enticing thumbnail straight away you kick it off with that one song from undertale 3 seconds in and im loving it big man
and you say minecraft the right way
oh my god and hollow knight music can this video get any better
i subscribed!!!!
Thanks for subbing!!
Idk what I did to get this
It sounds like you loaded multiple versions on the same world.
@@gunnaliteswafford3842 This was on bedrock edition, I don't think you could do that on there. I just know when I was playing the world when update aquatic came out, the world started to load like that in New chunks
@@KelsieTheAcorn so.... multiple (more than one) versions on the same world.
@@gunnaliteswafford3842 ohhhh. I see. Not me not understanding words.
But I do still wonder how thr world loads like that, my friend said the world shouldn't even load like such even with there being muti versions. Bedrock bugs
You have a very soft voice. Very relaxing :3
Good video .w.
It’s called Astralex shaders. And yeah it’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing shaders imo.
Imagine trying a "100 days in hardcore" challenge and you just get spawned in inescapable lava
What a disappointment that'd be
what shader do you use? it looks beautiful
Astralex shaders (according to another comment)
I actually have some indirect experience with the spawnkilling. A letsplayer I used to follow did a Minecraft let's play once. He was letting the game use a random seed, and the first world spawned him inside of a rock block, killing him through suffocation. He had to generate a new world just to be able to play at all.
Kinda offtopic, but can i just gush over the usage of PMD2 Tracks?! Im a huuuge PMD Simp, so hearing its OST outside of Pokemon Content always makes me a bit giddy inside
PMD is a masterpiece
I wish Minecraft had native support for triple and quadruple chests. For quadruple chests, have the UI twice as wide. Since the 9x3 grid represents a single chest, and for a double chest, the top half represents either the left (Java) or the first (Bedrock) chest placed. So for a triple chest, the UI shouldn't break a grid in part. So the game could check if the current UI allows 3 chests tall UI, then show that, otherwise generate the UI for four chests, but with the bottom right 9x3 missing.
Ice spice comes in all shapes and sizes
When it comes to the lava spawn, I recall playing on Xbox 360 and being unable to place exposed surface lava at the world spawn point because every time I tried to do so a dialog would appear from Xbox telling me that I can’t put it there because it would harm new players spawning in (a reasonable concern; my sister and I played split-screen often growing up).
So they often do care about that.
7:10 love the USUM music ❤
as a kid when i played Minecraft of ipad, on a mountain i found naturally generated house-lile structure made out of stone. it also looked like it was exploded by creeper. or it has generated that way, or i built it myself and i forgot about it.
either way i cant check it because i installed some lucky block mod which doesn't let me run Minecraft
4:16 ayo september reference
3:22 most likely they'll force a small disk of endstone to spawn under the usual surface height at the center of the island to prevent the portal from breaking and call it a day
Or adjust the noise bias to guarantee there's always more endstone in the center
In case of the bad end generation they should just blacklist those seeds for random seed option. The game should just jump back to generating a new one and then check it. A simple loop. Mojang should hire me.
not really worth the effort since the chance of anyone running into these accidentally is one in a billion
@@9600bauds yeah, mojang wouldn't fix a problem.

The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon music makes it for me ❤️
Andrew is incredible!
I love when creators list out the music for the video
whats the texture pack and shader name?
The most insane and rare bug i ever witnessed was when i launched a world, wandered a few minutes, then noticed that sheeps and a few other mobs had the face of a creeper. I found almost nothing about it on the internet, and closing-opening the game again resolved the bug. But that was pretty insane and it still feels like a dream when i think about it
We love andrew
i love getting super tall ice spikes in my worlds lol. i've gotten one similar to the one pictured, not as tall but 80 something blocks. i built a little walkway around it to make it an exhibit :)
