as a fan of helicopter transformers (like blackout-whril-armada cyclonus- etc...),evac is probably the best one out of them,i like how has a infinite rotor spin gimmick,and i like his hook gimmick,the gimmicks on this toys is probably the best thing about it,i do like his personality in the show and his relationship with crosswise,i wish if we can see the helicopter evac again(because of the bayverse evac from transformers the ride)

Evac is exactly the type of toy that would be done worse today because he wouldn't have his gimmicks. You can add extra articulation to him just fine, but the thing that makes Evac fun is he has actual play features to interact with other toys.

Also, for a TF toy as old as this to be able to cross its arms so successfully is no mean feat, even if the gigantic forearm kibble does make Evac look like he's trying to hide form his crush. Would love to see this guy in Generations, especially now that we're getting some UT love with Legacy Overraide and Metroplex.
They repainted this dude into every helicopter that they could, back in the day. Whirl, Springer, Blades in both Voyager and Legends size, Shattered Glass Galvatron for some reason... He always made it work, though.
Yes indeed, I enjoyed this figure to the point of also getting the Universe Blades version, which I did go ahead and paint the head white, face light blue, and hands in white and blue.
Never would have taken this mold to be a cool Galvatron, but that's just what happens when you set your expectations low, you're happily surprised when things turn out to be just a bit more than mediocre. At least, that's what my parents keep telling me, says it works for them.
I that a first for a copter bot transformation? The tail split becoming back mounted wing structures? That’s cool as hell. Not to mention, that colour scheme looking like Skybyte 👌
Oh I love this guy Cybertron's my favourite line and the Colony Leaders are all stand outs in their own way, Evac's one of the first I got and I really do love him, he's still on my desk right now in fact. Big respect for him to get the silent rotation going on those blades, Armada Cyclonus wishes he'd had that budget. Aww shame you don't have his key, the gold rimmed Cyber Keys were essential for me, gotta have them all plugged into the Omega Lock to do nothing. Amazingly the first thing that happened when I had him in hand was I flipped down one of those landing wheels and it immediately snapped off
Yup. I would totally spend my money on this, as an adult or a kid. I wish he looked a bit more “swat medic,” maybe some darker blues and a helmet with face shield, but yeah, this looks like a great figure!
Had the Springer and Galvatron versions of this mold before they got better Generations toys and it’s a fantastic mold. I really should hunt down the original sometime.
This Repugnus storyline has me on the edge of my seat. I can't even remember what you said about Whirl or Energon Bulkhead or whatever helicopter this is.

Didn't have any experience with Evac himself but I did have the Target Exclusive Universe Springer version of this mold that was part of a 2-pack along with Ratbat (Cybertron Sideways recolour). My experience with Unicron Trilogy toys is limited but I found both of them pretty fun. Sadly I have since parted with them once I got myself a Thrilling 30 Springer.
I do like that Cybertron decided to make use of the blades of the helicopter in an interesting way. Also seems you weren't doing great without Repugnus, resorting to Sesame street minifigures.
Blades is my only version of this mold, so I never got to experience these bombastic colors in person, but he still holds up as one of the nicest heli-formers we've seen in years. PS: Let the poor little rascal out before he starts multiplying even more in there.
Still a little bit pissed that Hasbro did not use the name 'Evac' for the Aeriallbot helicopter in the Combiner Wars line. It's sounds cooler than Alpha Bravo imo.

i picked up evac at my local flea market but unfortunately he didnt have his missles or propeller. nonetheless he is still very good
